I'm Yoon Eun Hee

They all waited outside the room with worried faces. After Mi Soo woke up again, she couldn't recognize anyone from the Kim family but constantly asked to see her parents.

It was a sad moment for the entire family. The doctor asked them to wait outside while he ran some tests and asked the young miss some questions.

Soon, the doctor came out again and asked Mr Kim to follow him while the others wait outside. "What are you talking about? It's my Mimi we are talking about. I'll come with you." grandfather Kim protested and the doctor nodded.

The trio walked to the doctor's office leaving Mrs Kim and Cha Mi Jo. Mrs Kim was too tired to even ask to go with them. Seeing her baby behave like that was depressing for her.

In the doctor's office, the doctor passed an x-ray scan to grandfather Kim and another copy to Mr Kim. They stared at it confused because they didn't understand what they were looking at.

Not wasting much of their time, the doctor showed them another brain x-ray depiction. "This is how the normal brain looks like."

Grandfather Kim picked up the picture to look at the difference. "Although this part of Ms Kim's brain looks slightly affected due to her fall, she seems to be recovering fast." the doctor pointed at a point in the scan.

"Is that why she doesn't remember who we are?" Mr Kim asked.

The doctor shook his head and then sighed. "Aside from this small point I have shown you, Ms Kim is completely fine. The amygdala is involved in fear and fear memories. The hippocampus is associated with declarative and episodic memory as well as recognition memory. The cerebellum plays a role in processing procedural memories, such as how to play the piano. The prefrontal cortex appears to be involved in remembering semantic tasks."

He pointed to different parts but in the end, his answer was still the same. "Ms Kim's brain is not affected in any way. She's fine," he spoke with a straight face.

Grandfather Kim's brow furrowed. "So what are you trying to say? That my Mimi is faking this?" he asked angrily.

The doctor sighed before responding. "The brain is a very delicate part of the body. Medically speaking, Ms Kim is fine but this could be as a result of staying in a coma for too long. If after a few weeks she doesn't recover her memory, I suggest she goes for therapy."

In the car, as they drove home, Mi Soo placed her head on the window and wondered what was going on. The people in the hospital would not tell her where her parents were neither would these couple who claimed to be her parents.

She wondered why they were all lying to her and making her look like the insane one when she was sure of what she was saying.

Soon, they arrived at the Kim's mansion. Mi Soo was dumbstruck when she saw the house. Although she was tired and weak, she could not help but gawk at the grandeur of the mansion.

The Kim's mansion looked like the houses she had only seen in movies and because she was a girl from the rural province, she had never seen anything this grand.

As they walked in, she stared at the building in shock. Mi Jo and Mrs Kim helped her to get into the house because her walking was a little sloppy.

"Do you like it here?" Mrs Kim masked her sadness and asked with a smile.

Mi Soo looked at the woman for a while then smiled slightly. She didn't give a response but her smile caused Mrs Kim to tear up.

She looked at her daughter lovingly but said nothing. "I'll take her to her room, Mrs Kim." Mi Jo suggested and Mrs Kim nodded before turning away and crying a little more. She didn't want her daughter to see this side of her again.

Mi Jo led her friend upstairs while the older ones stayed downstairs to discuss. As soon as Mi Soo was out of sight, Mr Kim took his phone and excused himself.

"Hey... You..." grandfather Kim knew that his son was just avoiding the topic that was why he claimed to be busy.

Before he could even curse at his son properly, Mr Kim was already long gone. "What is wrong with your husband? Your daughter just got home and he isn't even showing any concern." the old man asked his daughter-in-law.

Mrs Kim didn't know what to say as well. Her husband has been distant ever since their daughter got into that incident. It's not new to see him like this anymore.

Mi Jo led her friend into her room where her old pictures were hung. She had a beautiful portrait there and Mi Jo was sure that this room will remind her of a thing or two about herself.

Mi Soo didn't even pay attention to the details and then turned to ask, "Is this your room? When will I be going back home?" she asked still worried that her parents would be looking for her.

Mi Jo sighed hearing her friend talk about leaving again. "You really don't remember?"

Mi Soo turned around without answering her question. She was tired of hearing that question being asked over and over again by different people.

As she looked on, her eyes landed on the mirror in the room. Her brows furrowed in confusion as she staggered to the mirror. She looked at the image in the mirror and touched her face in horror.

'What is this? Who is this?' she wondered completely confused by what was happening. She looked at the portraits on the wall and then at the image in the mirror again.

Mi Jo noticed that Mi Soo was staring at her face confused and then walked toward her. "Is something the matter?" she asked.

Mi Soo looked at the young lady and asked angrily, "Did you people get a plastic surgery done on me?" that was the first thing that came to her mind.

Mi Jo's brow furrowed. Mi Soo had been acting strange but this was the height of it. "What are you talking about? Did you..." she wanted to ask if Mi Soo forgot her own face as well but refrained from saying such.

Mi Soo pointed at the image on the mirror and asked, "What is this? Who is this?"

Mi Jo responded, "You."

Mi Soo was still in denial and wondered if the mirror was lying to her as well. She held Mi Jo by her shoulder and moved her to the mirror.

The mirror reflected Mi Jo's real appearance but why was the mirror biased toward her?

Mi Jo was confused. "Why?"

Mi Soo grabbed her hair confused. "Because you people have the wrong person. My name is not Mi Soo. I'm Yoon Eun Hee from province S!" she yelled.

"This must be a nightmare." Mi Soo laughed. "Haha, I'll wake up soon."
