A Tectonic Struggle

Once the sea had split apart, its giant walls of water held themselves together as the emitted waves of energy seemed to manipulate it and prevent the rising water levels from leveling out and preventing the moving bodies of water from causing any harm to the surrounding coasts and wildlife such as the fish, or plant-life living on the sea floor.

The man landed on the sand and ran with E-class Dexterity, constantly increasing his speed by snowballing with the momentum that every burst of flames that comes out of his medieval armor.

Yuri's smile grew wider and wider realizing how powerful the other Mages are. And that he couldn't imagine how amazing their capabilities would be if they were all able to max out their levels.

He started imagining the new kinds of warfare that their technologies would bring to the world. And he thought about the new type of world that the 10 Magitek Mages would pull out from the distant future millennium and spread these technologies in the modern age, like Prometheus giving humans fire from Mt. Olympus themselves.

With this level of excitement, Yuri wanted to prove to the TerraMage that he was stronger and better. And that he would show him his true character by giving him the respect of giving his all.

"AI!" Yuri said while flapping his metallic dragon wings in the dark orange sky. "Download Modern Rocket Technology and let's show this bearded man, who's boss?"

"Yes, Master. Downloading now."

The Exosuit was in the downloading process for a bit while the TerraMage had gained more distance in front of them.

"Modern Rocket Technology Downloaded. Integrating Modern Technology in the AI-Mage's Exosuit," the AI girl said.

Yuri then cockily said, "Welcome to my world, beard man!"

The Exosuit's Dragon wings morphed and combined into a giant single shuttle-derived solid rocket booster powered using MP.

"An exorbitant amount of Mana Points will be used to power the Rocket Booster, Master. Would you like to proceed?"

"PRO-" Yuri shouted before he even finished the AI immediately charged in boosting Yuri at a speed that eventually reached B-Class Dexterity.

"-CEEEED!!"

While being boosted by the Rocket Booster at such a high speed the air, the Exosuit morphed into a cone-like shield in front of Yuri to minimize resistance associated with this shock, hypersonic speed.

Blasting through the sky like a high-speed rocket, the blast could be heard from the coast, and many thought they were from the Japanese Air Force.

Yuri easily passed the TerraMage who was at most speeding only to a maximum of D-Class Dexterity.

Within a few minutes, Yuri had arrived about two kilometers away from Oshima Island.

"OH SHITTT!!!" Yuri shouted. "AI! SLOW DOWN! SLOW THE FUCK DOWN!" he panicked as his speed was too fast for them to be able to slow down their speed.

"It's okay, Master," the AI girl affirmed to him. "We are going to crash on the island."

"THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I'M TRYING TO AVOID!"

"That was a joke, Master. Initiating Emergency Parachutes Now," the AI said.

"MOTHERFUCKER!" Yuri had just remembered that rushing the AI's object generation process would give it these unpredictable properties, and he was also confused as to why she looked exactly like the girl he met in the VR game, and how his Dragon-Form Exosuit had similar designs to the Dark Red Dragon in the game.

*PLOP!

The huge parachutes that were Magitek burst out of Yuri's back and the rocket booster slowly morphed back into his main figure. But the inertia and the sudden change in velocity, and caused Yuri to spiral down toward the island, but when he reached a manageable speed, his Exosuit removed the parachute and his Dragon wings appeared again. Flapping with great force and control, he landed safely on top of Mihara Mountain and sat down on its dark gray volcanic sands. His E-class Endurance was high enough to protect him from the sudden changes in air pressure, but it was still at a level that would only match an amateur astronaut, barely passing High-G training.

So he rested and looked up at the sky, now turned dark and the stars begin to appear.

He was victorious. And he was proud because he held nothing back.

"AI? You-" Yuri exclaimed while breathing heavily and in pure dizziness from the changes in acceleration. His blood began to fully go back to its normal flow through the brain and the body.

"You need to work on your comedic timing."

Then he laughed.

After a few more minutes, the TerraMage had landed on the island, and on the way had restored the original state of the sea leaving no damage to the environment at all, due to the power of his Terraforming Technology. When he saw that Yuri had already won, he quickly conceded, and accepted his defeat at their test of Dexterity.

When he arrived on the beach, he jumped so high, being boosted by bursts of flames and the push of elevated pillars of the earth. He landed near where Yuri was resting and made a small crater-like formation.

As he approached him, Yuri stood up and prepared to meet him. He did not know how the TerraMage would react to his defeat at the test of speed. They stood in front of each other. Two powerful Magitek Mages. The AI-Mage and the TerraMage. Their eyes locked intensely into a stare down even more ferocious that the first one. Then the man in Magitek Muslim Medieval Armor removed his helmet, revealing his middle eastern features and facial hair.

Then he said with a smile, "Mabrouk! My brother!" and he extended his hand to give Yuri a westerner handshake of congratulations.

Although Yuri still couldn't understand Arabic, he already understood what the TerraMage was saying. Every human could understand the universal language of a smile of genuine kindness and celebration. Using the automation of his Exosuit, his mast morphed back into the main body, and he revealed his face too.

Yuri shook the man's hand who looked to be also in his twenties but he had a much larger natural body structure. He was like a gentle giant that was a foot taller than Yuri.

And as the AI-Mage and the TerraMage, shook each other's hands, great tectonic pressure was crushing the trapped air in their gloved hands, with E-class brawn canceling each other because of their equal level of power.
