She can’t help but have feelings for him, knowing he’s dating someone else doesn’t help her let go. 

She wishes she could stop, but at the same time can only think of wanting to be with him. Even knowing who he’s with and not wanting to hurt her. 

She tries to improve herself for him, but in the end, disappointment is the only ending for those who try too hard.

In the end you weren’t worth it

The teacher waited for everyone to clear out of the room before she spoke to Emma, when everyone was gone she looked over at the door to make sure it was closed and began to speak.

"You missed the first part of the lecture so I'd ask that you please spend some of your free time catching up, along with that there's also this handout that was passed around at the start of the class. You'll need it for the work later." Said the teacher with a warm and gently smile on her face.

Emma gazed into the teachers' face as she was smiling at her. She then lowered her gaze and glanced down at the handout as she reached out her delicate hand to take hold of the thin sheet of paper.

"Thank you, miss." Emma said to the teacher who smiled once more before nodding. "And I'm sorry, I won't be late again, I promise."
