The Lost Nino

In the blink of an eye, it was already evening.

Naoki walked out of the study and prepared to go to the cafeteria to eat.

In the early summer night, the clouds on the horizon were very beautiful and majestic, and the sound of birds chirping was heard one after another.

Just walking to the cafeteria entrance, a girl with slanted bangs covering her eyes and with headphones hanging from her neck walked over.

That's Miku.

"Reckless Asakawa." Miku asked, "Did you see Nino?"

"Not." Naoki asked back. "Nino disappeared?"

"I was just about to call Nino to come to the cafeteria for dinner, but there was no response to the message." Miku frowned slightly and worried, "I've searched the classrooms, dorms, and study rooms, but I haven't seen them yet."

Naoki complained:

"Is it normal to find Nino in places like classrooms and study rooms?"

Miku stretched out her index finger and lightly poked Naoki's arm.

"Now is not the time to complain about Nino." Miku approached, "It's going to be dark soon, I'm a little worried."

"Did you ask Ichika and the others?" Naoki asked quickly.

"I just sent a message." Miku nodded quickly, "They said they didn't see Nino, so I was a little worried."

Naoki pondered:

"Then Nino should be with his friends."

The five sisters of the Nakano family seem to be divided into five equal parts, but they are actually very different.

For example in terms of social interactions, Miku is sullen and cold, and has an interesting personality. After most of the semester, she was still alone and had no friends at school.

On the other hand, Nino has been described as a 'social talent'. Just a week into the move, she joined a very popular girl group.

Miku looked down at her toes: "I don't have the contact information of Nino's friend."

"Let me ask."

Naoki took out his cell phone.

"Hah?" Miku raised her eyes in surprise and asked curiously, "Does the reckless Asakawa have the contact information of Nino's friend?"

"Not." Naoki confidently shook his head and denied, "I don't know them."

"Ugh-"

Seeing Miku's protruding face, Naoki said while sending a message: "There is only one truth, as long as you understand the fate line under the world, everything will be seen."

Miku's eyes widened: "The famous detective Asakawa?"

"Not." Naoki sighed, "In this day and age, detectives are no longer popular. Even if Sherlock Holmes transmigrates, it is estimated that he will be of no use."

"Why?"

Miku was very curious.

"Miku, times have changed." Naoki said in a low voice, "Now that information is connected to the Internet, monitoring devices are everywhere, and 99% of crimes will be caught by surveillance. Detective reasoning is outdated."

Miku: "😐"

"Wait a minute… Un, don't wait any longer." Naoki handed his cellphone to Miku, "I found it, this is the cellphone number of Nino's friend named Yuko."

"Very fast." Miku was surprised, "How did you find it?"

"Have you heard of the 'six-dimensional' theory of interpersonal communication?"

"I think I've heard..." Miku hesitated, "Can you know anyone in this world who is no more than six people?"

"This is it" Naoki said calmly. "As long as you know their name and class, it's easy to find their personal information."

"Even if you say so." Miku felt a little dizzy, "How to do it specifically?"

"Very simple." Naoki's answer was clear, "Find someone to ask for help."

Miku: "😐"

The object of Naoki's request is the trio of pigs, deer, and butterflies. These three girls are core members of the school's biggest secret organization – the Furuhashi Protection Association.

They have a lot of energy at school and know a lot of people, it's easy to ask Nino's friends for contact information.

"Let's call." Naoki looked at Miku "Ask the situation, Nino should be with them."

"Um."

Miku nodded lightly and dialed the phone.

After a while.

"The girls just said that after school in the afternoon, Nino left school with them and went exploring the mountains, but Nino wasn't with them now, and asked if Nino came back first."

Miku returned the phone, with a worried expression on her face, and said nervously:

"Could it be that Nino got lost?"

That's the worst news I've ever wanted to hear.

In the forest school, every year some idiots go out to play and get lost, and then they are brought back and reprimanded by the teacher. Now it's Nino's turn.

"It's going to be dark soon." Miku quickly made up her mind, "Let's go out and look for her?"

Jungle school environment is very safe. Not to mention the big beasts, almost no small beasts. Otherwise, the school would not have come to such a place for academic training. What danger is there, only to make Nino have a long memory and know not to run around alone!

"Let's go." Naoki turned and walked towards the school gate, "try to find Nino before dark."

Miku hastily followed, "I will call and ask Itsuki and the others to come out to search together, more people are getting better."

"Please do not."

"Uh, why?"

"Have you heard the story about the bear breaking the corn?" Naoki snorted, "Instead of finding Nino when I turned around, the four of you got lost again."

"I won't get lost."

"People who can get lost at the school gate, don't talk."

"Ugh-"

Miku stretched out her index finger, and poked Naoki's arm, "Bullying me."

...

Get out of jungle school.

"Nino's friends said they went to the mountains." Miku identified the direction and pointed to the left, "Let's go."

Naoki suddenly stopped: "Don't go."

"Eh?" Miku looked confused, and whispered, "You… want to go to the bathroom?"

"So that's where we come from." Naoki sighed, "Since Nino is in the mountains, why are you looking beyond the mountains?"

Miku's eyes suddenly widened, "Eh, outside the mountain?"

Miku carefully identified for a moment, only to realize that the direction she was pointing was actually the way out of the mountain. His face immediately turned red, and she hesitated:

"Just now I was accidentally blown away!"

"So." Naoki turned around and walked towards the mountain, "Do you know which direction the south is?"

Miku: "😐"

You don't even know about north, south, east, and west, and say you're not crazy!
