After the Ghost left, Mo Haihao teased Little Taotie, asking, "Did you really cry?"
Little Taotie turned away, pouting, "I already said I didn't!"
"Actually, admitting it wouldn't have been a problem. Thanks to you crying, otherwise she would have turned dark!"
"Really?" Little Taotie shifted slightly, secretly glancing over.
Mo Haihao wanted to laugh but held back, nodding, "You are indeed a hero, preventing her from becoming an Evil Spirit."
Little Taotie's eyes curved, her dimples shallow, "Even without me feeling sad and crying for my sister, she wouldn't have become an Evil Spirit because the truth isn't that her biological parents hurt her. Her biological parents have been looking for her all along, never giving up."
"That's not it," Mo Haihao said grimly.
Little Taotie's smile froze, and she stared at him with wide, bewildered eyes.
"The truth is, those two really are her biological parents, and the one who got her heart wasn't some cousin, but her biological brother."
