The arch has been replaced with a new one. The chairs and tables have been replaced. All the bouquets are set up again.
The shredded decorations have been stained green and turned into vines that hang from each lantern post. The new streamers have been put up along with the banners, and crystal balloons. Each piece is more fragile than the first and the venue is watched by hired mercenaries. Every piece represents another part of nature, and no design before it has made me happier.
The last item to go up is a phoenix made entirely of gold, which is hung at the top of the archway. As if my mother is here with us.
I feel strange trying to protect my work like this but I don’t want any more mishaps.
“Come to the palace with me,” Cerulean says as he peers around the venue.
“This is gorgeous by the way. I didn’t think it could be done overnight.”
“We had many helping hands. I would never finish this by myself.” I say. He takes my hand.
“It’s time we stop this menace.” He says.
