Chapter 48: An Auidence

After spending the night chit-chatting with my sisters I wake up groggy. I leave them to sleep while I get ready for the day.

After I’ve bathed I re-dye my hair as vibrant as I can go and give it some TLC.

“You look amazing as always,” Cerulean says as he enters the room.

“Thank you, good morning.”

“Good morning.” He says and kisses my forehead. He runs a hand through my hair.

“What are your plans today?” I ask him.

He shrugs his shoulders. “I was hoping we could take a little walk. I feel as if I’ve seen you less and less since this all began.”

“Alright. Then let’s take a walk.” I place my hand in his and let him guide us out of the palace onto the palace grounds.

The air is warm and the sun peaks just behind thick, fluffy, clouds.

“It might rain like you want it to.” Cerulean says.

I rest my head on his arm.

“I’m hoping a nice rain will allow all the flowers to be really vibrant when we get married.”

“Then let’s hope it rains.” He says.
