The next morning, Xavier had left earlier.
I was in a much more delighted mood. I attended my office work as usual.
Edrik appeared at my office early in the morning. I was a bit surprised by his sudden visit. He was in an energetic mood. I had barely seen him joyous like that. He wanted to have tea with me in the garden.
The rest of the morning he kept following me around like a puppy.
“Prince Edrik, I am afraid, I might not be able to join you in the tea today,” I said looking at the pile of papers on my desk.
“Do you know, I kept staring at the painting the whole night yesterday,” Edrik said, ignoring my denial. He was sitting comfortably on the couch, playing with the paperweight. “I could not sleep the whole night, Princess,” he said looking at me. He was staring at me with amusement filled in his eyes.
The younger male with blond hair and peachy pink lips got up from the couch and seized my hand and placed a soft kiss lightly.
