When the guards declared the groom's entrance, everyone's attention turned to the door. I felt a hammer on my chest. Here comes the barbarian, I thought. 

I was looking away, lowering my gaze. The man entered the wedding hall. I felt like my intestine would come out of my mouth. The sudden gulps of the guests were not going unnoticed in my ears. 

What caused the guests to respond like that? Was the man that hideous? I lost my zeal to look at him. With a heavy heart, I kept looking away until he stood in front of me. 

Slowly, I glanced at the man standing in front of me. My heart was pounding so hard that I felt like it would burst. 

I gasped. There was no way he was the alpha lord and the groom of tonight's wedding. The phenomenally handsome man from earlier was standing right in front of me. Up close, he was multiple times more attractive.

Barbaric man? Who? He was radiating such royal energy that even the noblest vampires were intimidated when he entered.

The Vampire Luna

Another village was burnt. I clenched my fists. Instead of being the vampire princess, there was nothing I could do to save my people. I stared at the flame as it began to rise. 


"Are they burning more than one?" I asked myself. I was getting impatient. 


Though Xavier had asked me to be patient and wait for his move, I couldn't take it longer. It had been months since I came to this place. How many villages they had burnt, I couldn't even count. 


At first, the villages were distant. Now they had started havoc on the nearby ones. I could hear the screams, mourning, and pain. How could I sit back in my room calmly? 


I walked to the exit. There were a lot of maids. But barely any guards in the palace. Instead, the entire palace was guarded with a mana barrier. 


It was one of the most unbreakable barriers in the world, created by the most skilled wizards and witches. I attempted to step outside. However, I felt a shock wave hitting every cell of my body.
