Chapter Three

She was running as fast as she could back to the tree house, and asking herself one question, "Who is that?".

She was so curious to know what that was, but as she returned there she found nothing but a white little pony, the beautiful animal doesn't looks like much, but Alirea loved it instantly. The pony looked majestic, with a very beautiful long white mane.

Alirea kept on thinking, someone must have definitely stayed in this garden before, so how could she find no one around?, and apart from the swans, butterflies and birds, Alirea didn't think she had seen any other animal around that place.

"So little pony, what's your name?" She asked and chuckled sheepishly, did she actually forget the fact that animals can't speak to humans?.,

"And do you know who live around here!?" She added, patting the pony's body and stroked its hairs calmly.

Still the animal didn't respond, "Oh! then perhaps this is paradise then" She chuckled.

She wanted the horse to at least show her around, she also wondered where the potion could be found around that place.

'No, the potion is in carish, I'll have to go there" She remembered while she continued to walk around the place.

Alirea had already took off the veil from her face and had kept it inside her satchel, while she had decided to get some more fruits and get some water from the lake.

When she walked past a few short beautiful green bushes, a little creature had jumped out of it, and was following her.

Apart from the pony, Alirea could here other little footsteps behind her, while her heart continued to bit, 'Perhaps the real owner of this place is here' She thought. 'I Really hope he or she doesn't get mad at me' she continued thinking, Whoever it is, she was going to explain to the person that she didn't come to the garden on purpose and she was lost. After walking a few meters past the lake, Alirea could see a beautiful waterfall and then she came up with a very big plan she would just make herself fall into the water and then perhaps the people following her would have been gone before she would return back to the water surface, but now she was confused as she didn't know who the people following her were, and she was too scared to even look back to see them. Despite the facts that she has beautiful ice magic, she was probably still no match for what is behind her.

And after a few minutes of foolish silence, the person has bumped into her and she nearly loosed her balance.

"Careful!" A hoarse voice had spoken.

Alirea looked back and she was surprised by what she saw, it was an elf.

She had never seen one before, Alirea straighten herself well, and took a very good look at the creatures again.

They wore green and red colored clothing with a pair of extremely long black shoes. They looked silly and playful with their long spiky ear.

"Ha!" Alirea exclaimed when she saw them. "So you are real?!" She questioned excitedly. "I've never seen an elf before"

"Hi there, I'm lucas and this are my friends" An elf standing in front had introduced themselves.

"Wow, I'm Alirea, you can call me Raelyn, it is nice to meet you" Alirea smiled, the thought of seeing an elf physically had really made her excited.

"So what are you doing here? his highness wouldn't be pleased to meet someone here" Lucas asked.

"His highness? I mean, I was just_ just_ leaving the forest and I appeared here, I don't know who owns this place. Did you you know who this place belongs to?" She gabbled.

"Yes, we are the one who keeps the garden clean and magical, we grew this fruits, we reared the animals. But we don't own here. This place belongs to crown prince kieran of carish" Another elf explained.

Alirea was scared, "So I should be leaving?" She asked lightly.

"We would like you to stay, but his highness might not like you to be here, since no one knows about this place." Lucas answered.

"I am looking for the potion to cure my sister from the arrow poison, I would have like to keep her here with you guys since we have nowhere to go, my parents had been killed" She spoke sorrowfully.

"We're sorry to hear that Raelyn, but perhaps we could help by giving you the map, so you'll know the way to carish. We will take care of your sister"

Alirea felt that she could trust them, as they sounded so genuine. However she was worried about the crown prince they were talking about, what if he doesn't wants them here?.

"So princess, you can follow us and we'll take you to our cottage"

Alirea was excited and she followed the elves. They were so short that Alirea couldn't help but laugh inwardly. And next she decided to ask them another question that was bothering her.

"So when I get to carish, where can I find the potion?" She asked

"We really don't know princess, but you must get the potion within seven days otherwise your sister will die" Lucas answered.

"What! no that will never happen, I will get the potion before then" Alirea spoke with determination.

Lucas led Alirea to a beautiful glittery place with short houses.

There was a blue lake and a little bridge made entirely out of woods.

"Is this your cottage?" Alirea asked looking around the place.

"Yes, we would serve you some tea" An elf from the back replied and went inside a cottage.

The houses were up to ten, but they all looked like each other, two elves shared one cottage.

there was a short round table and a small chair, after the tea was served, Alirea had managed to seat on the chair.

"So princess are you married already?" An elf asked her.

"Married! no I'm not, why do you ask?" She replied nervously.

"No reason, just curious, I learnt that prince and princesses ought to get married fast, so I thought you were" He answered.

Alirea knew that the elf was right, her parents had began to talk about her getting married ever since she turned eighteen, but now she really has no hope of ever getting married to someone again.

Lucas came forward with the map in his hands, he showed Alirea the number of villages she was to meet before getting to carish.

But she was still nervous for one reason and that's the prince!.
