Chapter 09 Battle against Lower Rank Fifth Demon.

Journey by foot took me a few days in order to reach Mount Natagumo. I went to the nearby village and started information gathering. Apparently everyone who went to that mountain doctor, wood cutter, hunter and even bandit went missing.

'This mountain gives the vibes of eeriness. Maybe Gramp's mountain feels like this (AN: FGO reference). How do I eliminate them (Spider family) all when I don't even know where the heck they are in this forest. If I killed one of the weak ones they might come to me but if I killed the stronger ones the weak ones would escape. Hmmmm... How to sweep them off at ones? Maybe I should bait them.. But how? ' (Shin)

As Shin planned his next action other things are happening.

Doma POV.

As I was setting comfortably, a servant came and reported something.

"Head Doma I have important thing to report. Apparently a few suspicious people are investigating our religion. Should we eliminate them?" (Servant)

"Hmm... Leave them alone as long as they don't cause to much fuss. We can't eliminate them if we don't know what organization are they working for or whom they are working for. Just keep eye of them while investigating their origin." (Doma)

"Yes Head Doma. " (Servant)

"Hmm.... I'm feeling hungry. Who will I eat this time? " (Doma)

Looking at the female virgins that are lining up, I was having an internal struggle.

MC POV

After a day of thinking, I had created a plan that has fifty percent success rate. The plan is to go undercover as a wood cutter and let either the mother or daughter spider catch me. If I'm lucky when I'm captured and treated as food, maybe all of them would be in one place. That said I have to pretend as a young wood cutter and go deeper the forest. While wearing cheap clothes and carrying hatchet I started to work. I want and started cutting tress with my hatchet. Since I don't know if the forest is monitored I have to act as a young naive teen. I continued cutting trees while slowly going deeper the forest. Since the trees are large, the forest is kinda dark. As I continued my act, I noticed that little spiders are crawling of the trees and there's a lot of spider thread in each tree I cut that was in the inner part of the forest. I noticed that it was starting to get darker as night approaches. I continued acting as if I'm done with my work and gotta go home. As I pretend to carry the woods back to the village, I noticed some movements not far from where I stand. I noticed that more strings are occupying each trees. I also noticed that a thread has attached to myself. I can send Ripple energy into it since it's organic and more conductive but I stopped myself in order to continue the plan I had in mind. My body suddenly stopped moving as I cannot control it. It seems that my plan succeeded, I'm only waiting for the one who captured me to bring me to their hide out.

Suddenly my body started walking on it's own. While walking deeper into the forest, I saw a lot of little spider in the ground setting spider threads. As I continued to walk (forced) I saw a house where 5 silhouette could be seen. There I saw the spider family. The father (Uncle Ben) who's skin is dark brown with the same red, dot-like design extending from his shoulders reaching down to his arms. Had long pale white hair reaching down across his shoulders having a gigantic spider face with multiple eyes and pincers in both cheeks.

Another one whom standing next to the father spider was I presumed as the mother spider (Aunt May) having the same milky-white skin, teal eyelashes and nails, and circular, red facial markings. She also possesses a short and curvaceous physique. Additionally, she had bushy eyebrows and long, white hair parted down the middle of her face which was tied with teal orbs into two, thick strands. She wore a lengthy, layered kimono — maroon on the inside layer and white on the outside layer — that exposed part of her chest and was tied with a patterned obi. She also donned a beaded necklace composed of teal and purple orbs and decorative anklets. She also goes barefoot and has black nail polish on her toenails; the lower front of the kimono is open, exposing her legs.

The next one was giant spider suspending in the tree presumed to be the spider brother (Harry) possessing a human head, his face similar to the Mother and Older sister demon and has the same facial features of red dots, pure white skin and eyes possess dark red, almost black sclera with deep blue irises and pupils.

The next one that was standing besides the spider brother was spider daughter (Gwen) that looks early teens with a completely pale, milky-white skin complexion, snow white hair, and pure white eyes with only her silvery pupils separating them from her sclera. She also possesses several red, dot-like patterns on her face.

And lastly the youngest brother (Peter) who's appearance of a young boy of short stature. His skin is white, with red dots. His hair is light pink and bears resemblance to spider legs. The sclera of his eyes are red, while his irises are pale blue while his left eye bears the number five signifying that he is a member of Twelve Kizuki. As I approach the family their eyes landed on me, looking at their food the family discussed on their dinner (me). Seeing that their attention wasn't on me, I decided to make my move on them while they let their guard down. I took a deep breath and let Ripple energy to flow out towards the strings that was attached to me. As the Ripple energy flows towards the strings, it got burnt due to the demon cells that it was made up of. I immediately took out the katana from the pocket dimension and dashed towards the unsuspecting family. Arriving at the center of the family I performed my attack.

"Ripple Breathing Style - Third Form: Dragon Coil Flash." (Shin)

I performed a rotational slash towards them.

The surprise attack I did manage to hit two of the family which were the females (mother and daughter). The mother got a deep wound in her chest while the daughter was unfortunate enough that got it's head sliced from her neck. The daughter and mother pair laid down. While the males manage to dodge, the mother wails in anguish as Ripple energy invades her body destroying it in the process which was like a torture for her while the daughter started to dissipate into ashes. The father charged towards me while the youngest started laying sharp strings as traps. The older brother disappeared from the place. It seems his waiting for a good time to ambush me. I dodge the incoming father by jumping to the left while cutting the strings that where in the way. As I cut the strings I noticed something ominous was above me. I raised my katana overhead and manage to block the older brothers bite. As I was occupied with the older brother Rui more like Doflaminggo than Peter attacked me.

"Cutting Thread Cage."

He fired a web-shaped string surrounding me. I manage to cut the strings but didn't go unhurt as many superficial wounds where made in my body. The father charged again towards me but instead of dodging I took upright stance while taking a deep breath.

"Ripple Breathing Style - Second Form: Flying Heaven's Reading."

As the father's charged near and entered my range, I counterattack by cutting of his neck while his attack almost hit me.

DRIP

The head of father spider rolled as I separated it from his body. I then tilt my neck dodging some liquid that was shot by the older brother. I was about to attack it since I discovered where it was hiding but Run attacked me first.

"You will pay for killing my family. Murderous Eye Basket." (Rui)

Suddenly I was surrounded by strings that are shrinking. I took a deep breath and deflect all in coming strings.

"Ripple Breathing Style - Seventh Form: Dragon Net Flash." (Shin)

As I cut all the strings I see the remaining family (brother) preparing to attack. He then spew some liquid that I thought was very dangerous. I dodged the liquid but got scratched by a string in the arm. As I land the brother spider took this chance and attack by spewing another round of poison. I tried the principle of Shave which was kicking the ground a few times to people myself and it worked.

THUD

CRACK

I manage to propel myself away from the poison and was near enough to the brother spider to land an attack while the brother spider was dumbfounded. Not letting this chance to slip I attacked immediately.

"Ripple Breathing Style - First Form: Twin Dragon Flash." (Shin)

I did a quick draw slash towards the brother spider while using the sheath as another attack as insurance. My katana sliced his body into two while my sheath hit his head hard that I felt the skull cracked. I immediately moved away as another batch of deadly strings came. As expected to RuI (Doflamingo) but I still killed everyone of his family (minion). As I tensed my body as I felt incredible danger was coming I saw Rui's string became crimson red.

"I will kill you!! Blood Arts - Cutting Thread Rotation." (Rui)

Rui fired a wheel of red strings that I felt very dangerous. I dodged the attack but still got few scratch. I took a deep breath and dashed towards him and attacked.

"Ripple Breathing Style - First Form: Twin Dragon Flash." (Shin)

Rui jump back as the blade approaches his neck and jumps back again as he evades the sheath. My attack was evaded by jumping back. He managed to dodge my attack since he saw it a few times. While jumping back he send more red strings as counterattack. I sliced all incoming red strings. I then took another deep breath and stance for my next attack which was by far is my fastest form.

"Ripple Breathing Style - Sixth Form: Flash of the Heavenly Dragon." (Shin)

I moved towards Rui with even greater speed as I neglect defense. Coming near to him I mutter all my strength I could and slashed him. He managed to dodge my slash and was preparing for a counterattack which was a great chance for the second attack as my attack wasn't finished yet. I took a step forward then rotates my bodyusing the momentum of the first slash creating vacuum which overwhelmed Rui for a second. At that second I used the second attack that carries even powerful than the first one. Realizing that another attack was coming and it was late to dodge, Rui braced himself and deployed strings to protect him especially his neck which was his major weakness. I slashed his lower shoulder which faced a little resistance and continued towards his upper shoulder near the neck. As my slash separates his body into two Ripple energy went and slowly destroys his regeneration turning his body slowly and painfully into ashes. I took a water flask and collected blood as his blood can make an antidote (Tamayo creates cure from stronger demon's blood). After cleaning the forest I send Itachi to report the case in Mount Natagumo where the missing people were the work of a member of Twelve Kizuki and had been killed.
