Kurayami as a Dragon God had a near-perfect control over mana of any type so he did not have the same issue as Azazel. All of his magic worked just as normal as he did not depend on the magic around him at all.
His heart made all the magic he needed just by breathing so he would never run out of magic. He and Shin teleported to the first country he felt as it was one of the three he saw.
They teleported to the middle of the city as he was confident in his strength. People around backed away from the flash of purple light with some panic. They looked around at the people around them.
They looked like normal people except for the fact that they dressed like medieval peasants. Kurayami reached out and grabbed a woman by the arm and looked down at her. He was careful with how much power he put as he could rip her arm off
Her dress seemed cheap and normal. Comparing that to the medieval look of the place seemed to suggest this world was a medieval land. That just confirmed to him that this place was still not as developed as his world.
She panicked as she thought he would kill her, but he had no such intentions. He lifted his glasses and looked into her eyes to shut her up. Looking into them made her shut up as he read her memories.
'This kingdom is called Re-estize, ruled by Ramposa III.'
From what he read, the kingdom was not necessarily stable as it was besieged by the Baharuth Empire to the East. That was the country that Azazel went to check out, which should be fine.
Anything that could fight Azazel as he was now would have to be in the Satan class at least. While he was reading her memories he also found something interesting about her and the people around him.
'These humans are not the same as the ones from my world. Their genes just are entirely different. This will be interesting to do some research about.'
He let her go and knocked her out of the shock of looking into his eyes. As he read her memories, she felt like things just went blank. She shook her head to get the weird feeling out of her mind.
"Thank you kindly for your help."
He and Shin walked away as he read all of her memories.
'So this is a fortress city under the name of E-Rantel. It is on the border of Baharuth to the East, and Slane Theocrasy to the East. The religion of this world is the 4 Great Gods, which must be fake. I feel no divinity in this world.'
Just as he was in deep thought several people surrounded him and Shin. They looked ragtag and had swords, spears, and some staffs. Nothing special really as they barely had any magic in their bodies. Not worth his attention really.
'Weak, so weak. At best they are in the low class. No more than ants.'
Shin sat down as they were not even strong enough to ruffle his fur. Kurayami sighed as he saw they all had drawn their weapons. The leader looked like a regular knight with a long sword.
"I suggest you put those weapons down. I am warning you, I will eat your souls if you touch me."
That just seemed to make them all more interested in not doing what he said. They surrounded him and Shin as they prepared to rush in.
"We are adventures of this kingdom and your claim to eat souls is enough to designate you a monster. We cannot let you go."
Kurayami looked at them all before he walked away.
"Go home, you're too weak. You will die."
That seemed to set them off as the mage brought up her staff.
"Magic arrow."
A small magic circle opened up on her spear and a blue spear of magic was fired from it. Kurayami did not even react when the blue spear hit him on the back. Shin looked at the magic arrow as it hit Kurayami on the back.
He sniffed the part that was hit to see if it actually missed. Kurayami rubbed the back of his head as he looked at the mage who hit him. From his shared senses with Nyro, he did not even feel it.
"Was that it? I am serious, is that the best you could do? If that is, I think it is clear this world is set for conquering."
The mage started to back away in fear. They thought that Kurayami was a stronger adventure or mage as not just anyone could take a spell that easily. Kurayami reached out and ripped all of their souls out.
The group around him was only 10 people, but their souls were not even as big as Kokabiel's when combined. All 10 shining lights were sucked into his mouth making him close his eyes as he went through all the memories at vast speed.
'This world has Adventures that go from the ranks, Copper, Iron, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Mithril, Orichalcum and final Adamantite. As for this world's magic system, it is based on tiers. 1-3 and maybe higher for some legendary figures.'
Just as he was going through their memories he found some information about the kingdom.
'This kingdom is falling apart. It is a mercy for me to conquer it. The nobles are pricks, and the king is a weak old man. He will need to be replaced or turned into a puppet.'
"Shin, I think it for the best if we move in with full military might."
Kurayami spread out his senses to the max all over the world to look for powerful beings. He was not disappointed as there were some beings with power. What felt like dragons were around which piqued his interest.
To the south was one being in the Mid stages of the Satan class, but that did not get his attention much. What did was a single place that had several beings in the Satan class further West.
Kurayami summoned Tyrant who looked like a tiny dragon and landed on his shoulder.
"Tyrant, head south and make contact with the being in the Satan class. I am counting on you."
Tyrant nodded.
"I shall follow your will, my master."
The little dragon spread his wings out and took off into the sky. He did not stay tiny for long and once he flew high enough he returned to his full size of 50 meters long. Two giant wings flapped powerfully before he rushed south.
Kurayami teleported west as this place truly got his attention. He had to see if the beings inside would listen to him before he was forced to take action. He appeared in the middle of an open area with many tombstones and statues.
Kurayami looked at Shin and ran his hand down the giant dog's back.
"Well, let's check it out."
Kurayami focused on his connection with his two sword spirits who were left behind on Earth. No matter where they were, he would always be connected to both of them. Both women appeared at his sides ready for battle.
Kurayami sent them all the information he had amassed making them process it. Submission squinted her eyes as she looked forward.
"Master, I take you brought us just in case you needed your weapons?"
He nodded.
"I fight best when you two are in my hands. No swords feel right anymore."
That seemed to make them both blush, but Rebellion had it easier to hide as she put her helmet on. She fidgeted as she walked forward.
"I am glad you are happy with us, but time and place."
He shook his head as he and Shin walked toward the entrance. A chance for adventure made Shin wag his tail as they started to walk toward the entrance. Kurayami ignored the four mausoleums as they did not interest him as much as this fort or tomb.
The first thing Kurayami noticed when he entered down below was that the place was full of undead. Skeletons began to rush toward him with swords drawn as they felt a threat.
Rebellion waved her hand out and destroyed them all with just her physical stregth. She looked at Kurayami and removed her helmet.
"Weak."
Submission looked at the broken bones and agreed with her.
"Not just weak, very weak. I would say that any Lich or Necromancer in our world would do better."
Kurayami started to walk down as he already felt something stronger walking toward him. Rebellion, Submission, and Shin felt it, but it was just in the Satan class. That was strong, but the three of them were as strong as their master.
Shin's ear's perked up as he heard the footsteps walking toward him. His tail started to wag as he wanted to see what it was. He drew his sword and waited for the foe to show up. Kurayami decided to wait as it would not kill anyone to wait for a few minutes.
Kurayami did not have to wait long before the first being worthy of respect showed up in his vision. She had white hair, white skin, red eyes and was wearing a red dress. She looked like a porcelain doll and had the likeness of a vampire
Plus she looked like a prepubescent girl wearing pads making Rebellion stifle a laugh. She did not look pleased to see them as a lance appeared in her hands. Kurayami did not get into a fighting stance as she was only in the Satan class. Very strong yes, but not at his level.
Shin was the one who wanted to fight her, but that could wait.
"Sorry for the rude entrance, but I had no other idea how to enter. This world proved rather disappointing until I found this place. I need to know what action to take so I wanted to talk first before deciding what to do."
She squinted her eyes as she pointed her lance at him.
"You should not have bothered. I, Shaltear Bloodfallen am tasked to protect the first 3 floors. Any intruder is to be dealt with mercilessly.
Kurayami nodded as he walked forward.
"That is fine as I am not here to invade. I merely wish to speak to your leader. I am sure that he would be more willing to listen before his servant is killed."
She gripped her lance even tighter and her eyes started to glow bright red.
"Why should a disgusting human have the right to see him?"
Kurayami's eyes began to glow bright violet as a part of his aura was unleashed. Cracks began to form around him while Shaltear actually backed off when she felt that power. That was not something she could face and it meant that her master was in danger.
She was willing to die to slow Kurayami down, but would that even matter. Rebellion squinted her yellow eyes as she looked at the vampire.
"Let's get one thing clear. My master is the furthest thing from a weak human. He is a Dragon God and he deserves that respect. If it were not for his goodwill you would be as good as dead right now."
Shalltear gripped her lance as hard as possible as she went through several scenarios in her head. If she attacked, she and her master would end up dead. She retreated and the chances for her master to die increased.
If she stalled for time, she would die and so would her master. She had only one choice if she wanted to allow to give Ainz the highest chance to live, she had to bring Kurayami to him.
She grit her teeth as the aura around Kurayami just seemed to grow larger.
'Is there no end to his power. This is beyond the Supreme Beings.'
She backed off and knew if Nazarick was to survive depended on her choice.
"I shall lead you to him."
Kurayami stopped intimidating her and walked in front of her.
"I am in your care."
Rebellion grabbed her arm and looked her dead in the eyes.
"For your sake vampire, I hope you do not get any funny ideas. My master is being very merciful for your human insult."
Shalltear tried to pull her arm back, but the power behind Rebellion's hold was too much. That let her know that it was not just Kurayami who was a monster, but the two women at his side. As for the dog, she did not know what to think anymore.
"I understand. Follow me."
(Kurayami needs more friends. Ainz is a good friend material I think.)
