When everyone made it into the Dimensional Portal, everyone was already waiting outside the house. He surrounded the house with a barrier that allowed them to leave, but they could not leave the time barrier. From the look of it they were annoyed they were trapped.
They all glanced at Kurayami who returned, but they shut up when they saw the three Dragon Knights. Latia's eyes were immediately drawn to them, but Kuroka was looking at Kuromi. They all had a lot of questions for him and Ophis.
Kurayami saw everyone was already gathered so he could start right away.
"Well let me get straight to the point, some time-travelers from the future came back to kill me."
Kuroka looked at Kuromi who had already removed her helmet. The cat ears by themselves were a dead giveaway, but the 9 tails and the scales on them even more so. Not to mention she had the exact same sclera as her father and Death.
"What about her?"
Kurayami glanced at Kuromi as he was going to let her explain. Kuromi's ears dropped as she began her explanation.
"Well, I am from the future as well. My name is Kuromi, and I am his and your daughter. You are pregnant with me right now."
Kuroka looked at her belly and back to Kuromi. She walked up to her to get a good look at her.
"I would have believed it if you didn't say it. You look so similar to me and Kurayami."
Kuromi had to look down, but the resemblance was uncanny when they were in front of each other. Nyx had a curious look on her face as she questioned something.
"Kurayami, you are not supposed to have alternatives. Your unique birth should have made you unique. How does this work?"
Kurayami already knew the answer to that.
"That is because I do not. I have no alternative versions in another universe. What I do have are alternative timelines that are different. I think existence is trying to remove my uniqueness, but it is failing. It can't recreate my mother as she is beyond that. On top of my soul. It cannot replicate it so my alternatives are weaker than I am."
Kuromi nodded.
"I could feel that the moment I met you. In my timeline, you were stronger, but that was just because it was the future. However, you are ar scarier as you have the true soul fragment of Death. As the soul of you in the future was a cheap knockoff."
Kurayami chuckled when he heard that.
"Well, guess I am unique. They could copy me, but not what makes me special."
Akeno smiled.
"Guess I am more unique than I thought. I kind of learned something the stronger I get. The reason I am growing so strong is that when mom was pregnant with us, my soul absorbed the energy given off by yours. Seems my existence trial will be a bit easier."
Kuromi looked at Akeno and nodded.
"You are the same. Existence can't copy that aspect of you in any way. It tries to compensate, but it is failing. I think you will have the easiest path toward it. None of us managed to reach that level yet. Too early I think."
Raynare glanced at Akeno as more time went on she just kept getting stronger.
"You really are unique. Now, what do we do with those?"
She looked at the giant machines that were immobile. Ddraig was the one who could control them and now that he was bound to Kurayami he was in control of these.
"They were created by these two. Telos Karna and Innovate Clear of the future. The user of these is dead, but he sealed them in these gauntlets. It allowed him to use them like he was their true user. Plus, I got these 4 Anti Machines along with 8 more destroyed ones."
Kurayami noticed Latia was not where she used to be as she was now kneeling over the destroyed ones. She would not be able to open them as these were Dragon God-level machines.
She had the look of a researcher as she held the head of the one Ophis killed.
"You say he made Anti Machines. That seems like the ability of an Annilatation maker. However, that might have changed when the 2 abilities of Telos Karna and Innovate Clear fused perfectly to create a world where you can create monsters or machines."
Ophis chucked when she heard how Latia perfectly answered the question.
"That is exactly what happened. Kurayami brought these back for you to study or maybe even give you the two Longinus. He already had two of them and Ddraig of the future which in a way gives him a third. He brought these for you."
Kurayami tossed the gauntlets toward Latia who caught them with care.
"I can have these?"
Kurayami nodded.
"You won't be as strong as Kanzaki yet as he was at the level of a Dragon God. Even he could only create one good Dragon God-level machine. He used up his life span and his vitality to make up for it and created the other ones. He was nearly dead by the time we killed him."
Kuromi walked up to the Angel Knight and saw the large core was removed without any damage. She glanced up at the lead Dragon Knight and extended her hand.
"Can I have the core?"
It glanced at Kurayami who nodded. It handed the larger core to Kuromi who held the giant core in her hands.
"We have the means to wake up the Angel Knight, but should we. Unlike the Dragon Knights, this one did not betray Kanzaki. It is still loyal to him so how will we work wth it?"
Latia walked up to the coreless Angel Knight, but she did not get too close. She could feel her instincts as a Devil warning her not to touch the core or the machine.
"Is that holy?"
Kuromi nodded.
"Very, the only reason I am fine is that my Devil side fused into my Fallen Dragon God bloodline. I am immune to holy magic, but this core contains Dragon Force. I don't understand why the Angel ones did not obey your will dad."
Everyone gathered around the giant Angle knight as they wanted to know what Kurayami planned to do with it. Kurayami reached out and grabbed the core from his daughter as he looked it over.
"I think I can do this."
Kurayami began to transfer a large amount of his mana into the core. He removed any sign of Kanzaki's will from the core, but he kept the aspect of Boost in the core. He even strengthen it a little and when he was done the core looked like a violet glowing orb.
"That should do it."
Lavinia understood what he just did.
"I see, if its core contains your influence the machine will obey you."
"Exactly."
Kurayami placed the core back into the chest which caused the core to be sucked into the chest and reinstalled. Everyone could feel how mana began to course through the machine once again. The optics of the machine lit up in a violet glow.
The giant machine sat up and glanced at Kurayami. The machine took the knee and planted its giant sword in front of Kurayami. Esdeath remembered just how Raynare once ruined his moment.
"Show off."
Raynare chuckled as Kurayami looked at the two of them.
"Can't I ever have a single moment?"
Akeno shook her head.
"Nope, too much fun. What do you think Zesshi"
"Huh?"
Zesshi had been distracted by the giant machinegun of the Machienguner that survived. She had picked it up and was trying to figure out how to fire it. When she got distracted she hit the firing mechanics and caused a rain of holy bombs to fire in the distance.
The explosions that blasted in the distance were large enough to level whole continents and Xargomoth took thousands of those to the face. Kurayami raised his hands and controlled all of the energy to gather above his hands.
"Zesshi, do you want that?"
The elf glanced at the giant machinegun in her hands and shook her head. She placed it back down on the pile of weapons from the destroyed machines.
"No. I just think it is fun to fire it. What will we do now?"
Kurayami created a chair from shadows and sat down on it.
"Simple. I was going to go in 6 months, but I will give you all a year. I, Ophis, Kuromi, Shin, Rebellion and Submission, and Xargomoth will go to the Wrath ring in Hell for training. I want to bring some of you with me, but none of you are strong enough."
Nyx saw that Kurayami was looking at all of them with curiosity. He was determining who had the best chance to make it in the next 6 months.
"What do you have in mind?"
Kurayami glanced at all of them as he had an idea.
"Well, you all will have to train even harder. I expect all of you to go through your second sublimation for a start. Xargomoth, explain all about Hell."
The little one nodded as he started with the environment.
'First, Hell is split into 7 rings. One for each of the Sins and they are all but endless and expanding. As for my home in the Wrath ring, it is a realm of mostly fire, ash, and brimstone while battles rage for eternity. We Demons each other's bodies and souls for power, but Hell has no end to its numbers. More souls are absorbed from endless realities. Hell's reach is as wide as it is fickle.'
Esdeath was curious about one thing.
"What about the Demon inside me?"
'The demon inside of you is also from the Wrath ring, but from the Hel section of it. The rings of Hell have many environments and that one is a Frost Demon. He must have escaped Hell long ago because of how weak he is.'
Esdeath sighed.
"Are their stronger Frost Demons?"
'Of course, the one inside of you is merely a mid-class Demon. You are close to killing him and a second sublimation will complete it. Now, the one wiht the Qionqi. Hell will be a good place for a fiend that feeds on pain and suffering. The three Devils, Hell will do you good as well. You may not be Demons, but your species will have a give you an advantage.'
Natsume, Latia, Grayfia, and Kuroka all felt glad they had an advantage. However, Xargomoth popped their bubble.
'An advantage, not an excuse. Esdeath has a better chance than all of you. Now, the sister of the master has the best chance of you all.'
Kurayami looked at each and every one of them as he knew they all would try their best.
"You do not have to worry much. We got a year and Hell's time is much faster than even this place. That is one of the good things so we could go over and stay 1,000 years and it would just be a minute or something here."
Annabeth had a question.
"We won't actually stay 1,000 years will we?"
Kurayami shook his head.
"No, maybe 30."
Hearing that made them all a little hesitant. Kurayami shook his head as that was too much for even him.
"Don't worry. We will stay 2 years at most. Before we leave we will take a break from training after. Remember, you have a year to get ready."
Kuromi nodded.
"Remember, even Dragon God-level beings are common in Hell. If we meet a Greater Demon, we are as good as dead. Of course, we have a guide."
Xargomoth had lived and survived in Hell for 10,000 years. If anyone was a perfect guide it was him. Ophis clapped as it was time to get training.
"Let's begin."
She increased the gravity causing each and every one of them to fall to their knees. She even controlled the gravity to affect them all to their limit as Nyx would last the most as she was the closest to the Dragon God level.
They all cursed in their heads, but they knew full well that this was for their own good. They all used their magic to rise to their feet, but even then it was not easy. Kurayami's familiars appeared behind him and they looked at them like they were prey.
"Good luck."
(Training Montage time.)
