Chapter 16

Cam's POV

I walk into the restaurant to arrange with the manager as I wanted this to be special for her.

"I was hoping to meet with your manager". I say to the cashier.

"Um...I'd show you to her". She says as she walks past me and I tail behind her. We halt at a door and she knocks.

"Come in". I hear someone say from inside and she signals me to wait outside while she goes inside and I wait patiently.

"Ma'am, you've a visitor". She says.

"Okay Abbey. Use the door". I say.

"Alright ma'am. But the client?" She asks.

"Let them in please". I say to her and she nods briefly before walking away.

"Um...sir..???" She calls out stepping out of the office.

"Cameron Cooper please". I correct.

"She's waiting inside". She says before walking away.

I twist the handle gently and push open the door.

She sat on her chair facing the window. All I could see was a brown long hair that reached her shoulders.
