Aaron could hear noises up ahead and that terrified him. Those men were kicking hard against a door down the corridor and he was certain that Zara was in there. Well, as long as she was inside a locked room, it gave him time to rescue her. Thankfully, whoever had designed the estate had done so with sturdy doors.

Aaron cringed when he leapt over another puddle of blood on the floor. His skin crawled to see so much blood. The last time he’d seen that much blood had been when Bella had vomited her guts out, dying as he held her. It had been an event that had torn his heart apart.

But, now, he had the chance of taking revenge. If he killed Gracie…if he could just put a bullet to her head!

However, Aaron questioned himself. Aaron had asked him if killing Andrew would give him closure and he’d had no idea. Today, how sure was he that killing Gracie would give him closure—the peace of mind he wanted?
