MACE: We've Only Just Begun

I looked back at Luke’s happy face and huge smile after I said my “sweet, sweet” yes and gave out an equally happy sigh. There’s no point in denying that I don’t feel the same way he does. I’m elated and with every expression that he gave, I’m getting higher and higher up in the clouds.

After an hour of more talking, confessing, holding hands, and basically just being close to each other, we decided it’s time to head back.

Luke walked me home, declaring that as my boyfriend, it is now his duty to make sure that I get back safe and sound. With this as the first of his many responsibilities, he solemnly said he’ll do his part in ensuring that I’ll get the best TLC a girlfriend could ask for.

I laughed out loud when he said that, which caused him to look down at me as we were walking, his arms wrapped around my shoulders.

“Why do you laugh Mace?” he asked raising his eyebrows. “Do you not believe in my capabilities?”
