Chapter 3.2 - Ignored

Women who are still virgins have a sweet smell, this is because they are still pure, untouched by the touch of any man. Immediately, Al run straight to where the woman was.

Found her!

Al watched her from afar. This woman seemed to have grown up and seemed to be in trouble judging by her expressionless face. In addition, the smell she gave off was very sweet.

"Ah... She is a woman, a virgin," Al whispered.

Al did as much as possible avoid capturing the girls, because apart from their young age. Catching them was much more tiring because they fought so hard and their screams hurt the ears too.

Women are the best choice, they are adults and usually, give up quickly. They did scream but for Rai, their screams were the best melodies that were very melodious.

Therefore, Al prefers to catch a virgin woman. Right now, not far from in front of him, there was a virgin woman who was very suitable for Rai's food.

The woman was sitting around the lake. Al looked at it carefully. This woman has a beautiful face, bright red hair, and white skin. However, Al could feel it.

The woman was surrounded by an aura of sadness. Her gaze was blank, and she just stared at the lake water in silence. Al approached her or rather appeared suddenly.

This woman was a little surprised, she looked intensely at the person standing in front of her then looked back at the lake, ignoring Al's presence. Al was surprised, this was the first time for him to get such a passive response.

"What? He's ignoring me? Is he blind? Ah no... She must have seen me, but why is she ignoring me? Even though my irises are already blood red and with a horrible smile on my face. But this woman, she only sees me and then stares at the lake again???" his mind spoke to himself.

"Hey, woman! What's your name?" asked Al.

Silence.

"Hey, I'm talking to you, answer my question," he asked again.

Silence. This woman still kept her mouth shut.

"Well, it's not important to know your name either, because you won't need your name anymore."

This woman remained silent, not a trace of fear in her eyes. Al became confused, but he ignored the oddity. Right now, Rai is his top priority.

"Okay, you want to keep quiet? No problem. Now come with me. Rai must have been waiting a long time, and I will be made a slave if I don't bring the food soon," he said.

Al went straight to this woman, carrying her body on his shoulders. However, once again, this woman was as silent as a statue. Again, Al ignored her.

With this woman on his shoulders, Al instantly runs up like the wind, through the thick Silver Forest. He ran as fast as possible to the castle, although in his heart he felt this woman was very strange, but who's care? As long as he got the woman.

"Wait here," said Al.

Now, this woman is in a special room where Rai usually eats his food. She walked to the window, opened it, and stayed there. He simply surveyed this dark cloudy sky without the slightest sound coming out of his mouth.

"Don't expect you to be able to escape, there are many soldiers on guard down there, and of course, if you choose to jump, you will die a gruesome death. Get caught in the trees, and maybe your body will be pierced by the sharp branches of the tree," said Al.

Silence. This woman just kept silent. This is very strange but Al does not want to think about it anymore, he immediately left there and met Rai on his throne chair.

"Rai, I'm back," said Al when he arrived at the throne room while bowing respectfully.

"Where's my food?"

"As usual, in that room."

Without replying, Rai immediately went to the room. He opened the door of this room roughly and saw the figure of a woman who was still standing in the same place.

"Hahaha... what are you looking at? Are you scared and thinking of a way to escape?" he said in a scary voice.

This woman turned to the source of the voice, she looked at this vampire intensely, then returned to her original position, ignoring Rai there. Just like Albert, she ignored.

"How dare you ignore me you despicable human!!" annoyed Ray. "All right, I won't be so kind to you, I'll finish you off right now!"

He approached this woman quickly. Then his hand gripped the woman's arm, and the other hand brushed the hair that covered the woman's neck. Rai violently stuck his fangs, sucking her blood hard. This woman just kept silent.

In just a few seconds, this vampire had finished his meal. The woman's eyes were now closed, her skin had turned pale, and her body had cooled. Moments later, she slumped weakly in Rai's arms, and Rai just chuckled at her condition.

"Too bad you left so quickly. Even though you have a beautiful face, however, this attitude of yours really irritates me! But your blood is really sweet!" he said half praising, then put this woman on the bed and left her.

The next morning, Al stepped into the room. Doing his job, as usual, returning the body of the woman who had been sucked out of her blood by Rai to where he found it, the Silver Forest.

Slowly, Al grabbed the doorknob and opened it, revealing a woman's figure now lying stiffly on the bed. He approached this woman and carried her bridal style.

"What's this?" Al muttered.

This woman's body did feel cold. However, Al still felt a little warmth there. Especially through his sharp hearing, he heard the sound of a heartbeat though it sounded faint.

Lub. Dub. Lub. Dub. Lub. Dub.

"Impossible," he said. Al lowered her back onto the bed, then touched the woman's neck.

"This...!?" The woman's pulse was still beating and Al could feel it. But to be even more sure, he put his ear to the woman's heart.

Lub. Dub. Lub. Dub. Lub. Dub.

It sounded faint, but Al could hear her heartbeat. "How is that possible?!? Rai wouldn't have let his victim live! But why is this woman still breathing!? Even her heart is still beating!!"

"Unlucky! I have to tell him immediately!" he said and immediately rushed to meet Rai.

"WHAT!?" yelled Rai in surprise.

"I've checked her, although very weak, her pulse is still beating and her heart is still beating. She is still alive. The woman is still alive!" said Albert.

"Aren't you kidding? If this is one of your jokes, it's not funny. Get ready to be a slave at the Waltz!"

"I'm serious!"

Seeing the look in Al's eyes made Rai sure this hybrid vampire was not kidding. But how could this woman still be alive!? He immediately got up from his throne and rushed to where the woman was.
