Humiliation

The dance of the eighth gods, especially the wind god was a swift move. Coupled with his mastery over the wind laws, before Chu Peng realized, Blade had already appeared a meter or two in front of him. Such a distance was perfect.

Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa!

Continuous, rapid, and powerful. Each strike of the head of the staff landed on each of Chu Peng's meridians, instantly shattering them!

Each one of them carried Chu Peng's life energy, and as they shattered it caused a scenario where Chu Peng momentarily lost the ability to manipulate the life energy inside his body.

The momentum behind each of Blade's attacks took effect. Like a bullet, Chu Peng's body went hurdling away in the distance. But, like the wind, seamlessly and without the slightest sound, Blade had appeared behind Chu Peng's figure.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

These attacks were much more powerful and sounded that way. Bone-crunching sounds were resounding throughout as Chu Peng's shoulder blades were instantly pulverized and he descended to the earth with a booming sound.

His body landed on the earth and instantly formed a crater. Standing mid-air, Blade had in his hand a long silvery black staff as he coldly stared toward Chu Peng who couldn't even muster up the strength to return to his feet.

Swoosh! Bam! Crunch!

Blade's figure descended as his right foot landed on Chu Peng's neck. Like with Andra, Chu Peng's neck collapsed under the force behind Blade's stomp as the bones were instantly shattered and Chu Peng's esophagus was practically pulverized.

Chu Peng's expressions showcased the pain he felt. But, even in the face of this pitiful expression, Blade merely giggled sadistically and said.

"This... Is it not just like how you did it to Dolion? Do you like how it feels? Chu Peng your name was right?... You should know that personally, I find you nothing more than a disappointment. To act soo arrogant, the people of your Heavenly Demon Sect clearly do not understand what standards must be set to call someone a genius!"

Watching Chu Peng's struggling and pained face, Blade coldly grinned and continued, but this time, Blade's eyes left Chu Peng's struggling body and stared intently toward a particular direction.

"Woman, your name was the Heavenly Demon right?... Let me tell you something, the next time you plot against me, that will be the end of you and your Heavenly Demon Sect."

Blade said this as a beauty beyond measure appeared. She seemed to have just walked out of the void as she coldly stared at Blade's unflinching figure.

She was a red-haired woman with demonic features. Her beauty was top class with a tall black demonic horn on the right side of her head and a short red demonic horn on the left that intensified her already high-classed beauty.

Her cherry red lips trembled slightly as she said in a monotone voice while her misty cold crimson pupils focused on Blade's dark purple orbs that were calm and capable of devouring light itself.

"As a member of the younger generation, it isn't good to be this ruthless. Why don't you let this matter go...?" She said as right after, Blade placed his hand above his lower face, covering the ever-growing grin. Seeing this, the Heavenly Demon frowned as her red hair fluttered in the wind.

Puchi!

Suddenly, the rod in Blade's hand penetrated Chu Peng's right chest. Twirling it around as blood gushed out the wound and Chu Peng roared in pain and anger, Blade uttered... "I wonder, a Demon has more lifeforce than regular humans... How long can this fellow last...?" Saying this, he glanced at the raging Heavenly Demon.

"You see, I myself am rather fond of the idea of torture. As someone who can confidently say he has quite a deep understanding of the different ways, I'm sure I can make up something that this Chu Peng will enjoy... After all, I'm speaking from experience!"

"You!" The Heavenly Demon released a boundless killing intent that descended onto Blade's mind and body. But, this only made Blade feel like giggling even more.

What was this?

Didn't he have an impressively powerful soul and willpower, hence his divine sense was almost as large as even that of a Mortal Transcendent being...?

'This feeble killing intent... I'm afraid that even my Martial King past self could resist it. This poor woman is only further humiliating herself.' Thinking this, Blade's focus turned away from the Heavenly Demon as if he wasn't feeling the killing intent.

As for her power... He, Blade wasn't scared of her. Though he was currently not her match, he highly doubted whether the people of the Limitless Sky Sect would bare to see him, their singular ticket to the regaining of their face, die... This will even worsen their previously declining face.

Grabbing the staff even tighter, Blade finally returned to Chu Peng. His black hair was disheveled and beads of sweat trickled down his face. Blood seeped out of his lips as wounds littered his body.

He was in a sorry state! Seeing this, the Heavenly Demon suddenly released her aura as her figure disappeared and reappeared in front of Blade. Stretching out her hand, though it looked slow, it had already transcended some rules and was bordering the boundary of breaking the flow of time.

"Woman, don't you think you're getting ahead of yourself." A feminine voice suddenly descended as time seemed to come to a halt. A pair of light brown eyes appeared as they stared intently at the Heavenly Demon. An Overseer of the Limitless Sky Sect appeared.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, for the first time in a long while, I Magnus agree with your words!" A tanned man with dark brown hair appeared next to Blade. Gripping around the Heavenly Demon's wrist was this man's palm as he snickered out loud with boisterous laughter.

"Previously, I didn't fight you because I wasn't in a favorable position. The current situation is different though... You move, and you'll die!" Astral's voice entered the ears of all present. The pure coldness and detachment from it sent shivers down the spines of everyone as their blood reversed its flow!

A piercing cold feeling originating from the Heavenly Demon's neck alarmed her. In Blade's eyes, three figures suddenly appeared.

In front of him was the black-haired female Overseer Charlotte, next to him was the brown-haired Overseer Magnus, and standing behind the Heavenly Demon was Astral who wielded a pristine white sword that's edge rested on the skin of the Heavenly Demon!

In an instant, the true power of the Limitless Sky Sect moved! All to protect their young holy child...! The other powers all simultaneously sucked in a cold breath of air. What was power, this was power... Even if they had this type of power, currently, they weren't present in their sects...

The strongest of them was merely at the ranks of Elders in their sects. Though Elders were different than in the Limitless Sky Sect, and these Elders were Martial Sovereigns, still, in front of Mortal Transcendents, they weren't qualified to be ants.

From Martial Sovereign to Mortal Sage, there was a large thankless gap. And from Mortal Sage to Mortal Transcendent, the gap was even larger than a dam. Anyway, surrounded and with no other choice, the Heavenly Demon stared down Blade for the final time.

Tch!

Clicking her tongue, she decided to disappear. One must understand, she was a true demonic entity who placed her plans and life in front of all and any other, even her blood... Humph!

Even normal humans of the world of cultivation would place their life in front of the lives of their blood relatives, much less a demon like her. But, this was for her face. In killing Chu Peng, Blade practically spat on her face.

"Don't leave now!" Suddenly, to the surprise of all, Blade's voice descended. Just as she was about to ignore Blade and disappear... "Do you want your son alive and well...?" Blade asked. His words shocked all present.

What was this?

Next to Blade, Magnus uttered under his breath. "Little one, don't take the piss now. Though she's surrounded, it's best not to fight these demons into a desperate situation."

Smirking, Blade continued. "But I'm serious." Seeing the determination in his eyes, Magnus hushed his mouth as the Heavenly Demon's eyes showed interest. Understanding her intent, Blade continued as his next words shocked everyone once more.

Staring into the hatred-filled eyes of the one named Chu Peng, Blade followed up. "I'm annoyed, very angered by his actions but, it is still something that can be overlooked.

Heavenly Demon, you've got a nice body, why don't you trade your body for your son... Hehe, I'll take good care of you as apparently, I'm quite the demon in bed... No pun intended!"

Thrum!

Silence lay waste and became omnipresent. Hearing this, some tried but failed to stifle their laughter as whether they found it funny or simply were trying to intensify the situation was unknown.

But, one person who didn't care at all was most definitely Astral Fabel. As someone from the twenty-first, he enjoyed that all too well... "Good good, you're my disciple alright!" He said but, Blade merely gave him a detached and icy glance.
