Once we're through, we see that we're outside the campus. Jess wants to be put down, so placing her down, I take the cub and she makes a run for the front. Yelling for Jessica, before calling on Aaron.
"Aaron."
"You called?", he answers while popping up.
"Yeah, can you take this cub to the animal wing and treat its hind leg? Also, could you run a scan of the cub as well.", I ask, then add.
He nods his head before taking the cub and popping out; Jessica reaches the front. I believe the headmistress was the one to pick her up. Not a hundred percent sure, but yeah.
"Welcome, to Silverleaf Grove Institute. I am headmistress Angel. Your bags are all in your rooms; lunch will be served in an hour. If you have any problems or complaints, please tell me during lunch.", headmistress Angel says while holding Jess.
Suddenly, we all have a piece of paper with numbers on it; heading towards the first number, which is the building number, until I reach number six, then I stay on the first floor before making my way towards my room number. The room wasn't far from where the entrance is so that was okay. Once I got to the room, the paper then changed into a key. Unlocking the door, I see all the bags; having a feeling not to unpack until after lunch, so that's what I do. Heading towards the кафетерий known as the cafeteria. Once again the key turns back into a map, interesting how they did that. Following the maps, directions to the cafeteria; getting there just like a few other students. By the look of them, I'll say they're light creatures; holding back an eye roll before walking in, as they make a sound of disbelief. Glancing around the room, I try to see Jess, to see her sitting next to someone with the headmistress. Making my way over to her, as I do so, I pass our friends, who give me a raised eyebrow, but I say nothing and continue on my path. Making it to the table, I raise an eyebrow at Jess, and she gives me a sheepish smile back; this child isn't getting out of this one.
"How do you like your room?", someone asks.
"The room is fine, thank you for asking.", I answered them without taking my eyes off my daughter.
"Miss Phoenix, could you sit down next to me please.", the headmistress asks.
Doing as I was told, I head to the first empty seat; wanting to bring Jess with me, but I hold off. Once I'm seated down, did the headmistress stand up.
"Welcome to the cafeteria. Does anyone have anything to say?", she starts off.
"Why are we roomed with a dark creature?", the two light girls ask.
"Does anyone want to trade roommates?", the headmistress asks.
"I don't have a problem rooming with a dark creature.", I say.
She nods her head at me before turning her attention back to everyone. "Alright, Aaron.", she calls out. That's interesting. I'll have to ask her or him how they know each other.
"Yes?", he answers.
"Could you change Miss Phoenix's bags to Miss Owen's room and then move the two roommates to Miss Phoenix's old room.", she says.
He nods his head before popping out once again. I will not get used to that soon. Paying attention to the headmistress; "Starting at the right end of the table, we have Mr. Willis Samuell-Phoenix teaching grimoires. Next, we have Miss Charlie Saneye teaching history, then Mrs. Aksenchuk Anna Vladimirovna teaching dark magic. Next is Mr. Taren Samuell-Phoenix, our healer."
"Mr. Sapping, pleasure to see you.", she says asks Mr. Sapping walks in.
"Yes, well, I wouldn't miss our new wonderful teacher teaching the oath and care of magical creatures.", he says happily.
She just shakes her head before speaking again, "Then we have Mr. Sapping teaching potions and our last teacher is Miss Phoenix teaching oath and care of magical creatures."
"She's a student here!"
"I'm not being taught by a human!"
"Yeah!"
The cafeteria gets louder where a few students and Jess are covering their ears. Holding back my anger as they continue to yell.
"Enough!", headmistress Angel yells.
But nobody listens, which surprises everyone, including herself. Not even a few minutes after they got out of their shocked state did we hear someone yell, "It's disgusting how a human is teaching us about magical creatures when she can't take care of a creature!"
"ENOUGH!", I yell, standing up.
Everyone gets quiet, they all just stare at me; Aaron pops up and starts talking. "The cub is a female, also she's an amur leopard. She has a fractured tibia, dislocated omoplate, a bruised crâne, and a bruised sternum."
"Jessica, stay with either our friends or with Mr. Sapping. Aaron mind taking me to the cub?", I say while making my way to Aaron.
Popping in the animal infirmary, I make my way to the cub; seeing everything I need to help the cub and I get straight to get while talking to her.
"It's okay, little one, I'm just fixing your dislocated shoulder. One the count of three; one… two…", I say, then pop it back in place.
The cub lets out a cry but then goes quiet; gently talking to her, as I wrap her shoulder, then put some slave onto her bruised sternum, and crâne. "Aaron, how bad is the fracture?", I ask.
"You can put a cast on her.", he answers.
Putting her in the cast before talking to Aaron again. "Could you be a dear and send me back to the cafeteria, then bring the cub to my room along with the slave."
"You got it!", he states before doing what I asked.
I'm back in the cafeteria and it seems like everyone is staring at me, which I find a little strange, but I don't comment on it; making my way back to my seat, as Jess stops talking with Mr. Sapping and turning her attention to me.
"How is the cub?", she asks.
"She is doing good, actually. She'll be in our room for a while so I can rub some slaves on her bruises, it'll take about three to twelve weeks for her shoulder to heal.", I explain.
"That's good. Could I pet her when we're there?", she asks shyly.
"That would probably make her feel better while she's healing, you're just going to be careful when petting her.", I answered while the food was on my plate.
