Lexi Huang

I woke up having a very sharp pain at the side of my head I was very surprised I was awake I tried to open one eye, opening my left eye first I squinted at the amount of sunlight entering the room I was in as I was finding trouble adjusting I tried to sit up but it was of no use as I couldn't lift any part of my body

" Is this heaven" I muttered knowing fully well that it wasn't

" Definitely not" someone replied me that was when I noticed I had company

"Err....who are you" I asked facing another direction from which the person was talking

"Daniel" his voice resonated in the room it was deep end husky and his breath smelt like mints 'this person he was extremely close to me I shivered at the thought

I heard footsteps notifying me that someone else is in the room and I heard another voice this time I was truly afraid two men in the room with me alone I'm i going to be raped or molested or even killed I thought no I have to escape from here I said trying to open my eye but my eyelids were so heavy I felt like I was asleep for one hundred years or something

" Is she blind" the first man said

"ehh... Blind no no I'm not blind or am I" I said still facing somewhere else

"I don't think so sir I think it's because of the lights" The second man quickly answered his voice had more of a feminine tone to it perhaps he's gay I thought but quickly told myself I need to escape from here so I squinted again and opened my eyes completely

"Sir let me check on her" the second man which I concluded to be gay came to check my pulse

" She's fine but a little poor on good food" he sighed

" I'll go get something to eat he added before leaving leaving the husky voice man alone with me

" Please where am I" I asked him not still noticing who he was

" In Dan's house" he replied

" Dan...Dan who" I asked again

" "Daniel of course" he replied grinning

" Who's Daniel please I need to thank him for letting me stay here"she replied a little bit irritated

" He went to get food" he replied courtly

"And who are you"

"Daniel's boss"

"Ohh then I should thank you too"she replied innocently

"Yes go ahead" he replied moving to the couch in front of her so she could see him

How shameless is this man she thought acting like he's some kind of big shot just because he rescued me she said inwardly

"My name is Lexi ....Lexi Huang and I really thank you for saving me from the accident zone he " she said trying to catch the features of the man she was talking to" oh okay" he said

" Aren't you going to tell me your name" I asked

"No find out yourself" he said coming close to my face

"I turned red to my neck seeing him this close to me then I found my voice

"You....you aren't you too much forcing yourself on an injured woman and..."the rest of my voice got stuck in my throat when I saw his face that face was too perfect how can someone look like that with his light blue eyes and his perfectly sculpted face how could someone look so handsome and this face was a little too familiar this man was the owner of Morgan enterprise

Chris Morgan

" " Stop drooling" he said with a smug smile on his lips

"I'm not drooling" I said and turned my face to the other side"so do you know me"

" Who doesn't but why did you save me are you going to sell me or sleep with me or... I was cut short

"Marry you" he said with his husky voice

"Whattttt" I shouted but my voice couldn't reach the door cause of my throat

"Are you surprised"  I nodded meekly

"Why"

" You just met me and you are thinking of marriage is that normal and I still have a husband anyway" I said and realized my predicament

" I don't love you but I don't hate you either we could live together don't you want want to get revenge on your ex husband" he said grinning

" Ex- husband" I stuttered

" You got divorced already" he explained

" But but my company he he forced me to sign it I can't go anywhere I have nowhere to go" I said breaking down

" Yeah that's why you need me in your life Lexi you need someone to help you get your revenge"

" What's in it for you" I said staring right into his eyes that were as clear as sky
