Finding the Cause

Jonas led Sagan back to the house, neither of them speaking the whole way. She was thinking, Jonas was thinking. Sagan glanced at Jonas from time to time as if searching for something.

Reaching Sagan's house, she leaned over and said, "J, I don't know what to say, but thank you so much for all you've done for me."

Jonas quickly replied, "It's okay, as long as you're happy."

Sagan hesitated, but decided to go home first.

"What do you say?" Jonas asked again.

Sagan hesitated, but finally said, "It's okay, just be careful."

When he got home, he opened Sagan's tweet and found that she had sent a picture. There were no words on the picture, it was like a picture, a picture, a picture. Jonas will feel better when he sees such a beautiful sight.

On Friday, the company was, as usual, empty. Jonas and Goins were chatting, and Jonas felt a faint aroma. Jonas stepped closer and saw Sagan.

Sagan handed Jonas a cup of milk tea, "My treat!"

Sagan said, and left cheerfully, with a sweet smile on her face and such a light step that Jonas almost thought it wasn't Sagan, but some other girl.

Jonas was thinking about Sagan, but Goins said to Jonas, "Jonas, this girl is not your style."

Jonas looked puzzled, "Why, you keep saying she's not my best friend. Do I like her?"

Gong pushed her glasses. "I know you have a soft spot for her! Sagan is not worthy of you. Look, is she the kind of person who can live? Beauty is good, but you can't live forever."

Jonas asked again, "So, what kind of woman can be with you?"

Goins looked over at Jonas and smiled, "You know that."

Jonas said sourly, "Only a woman like you can survive?"

Goins said without anger, "I told you, you just like the kind of woman who dresses up and has all kinds of feelings, and not just any woman, you have the wrong idea! You have to keep your feet on the ground, don't you see her wearing such high heels?"

Jonas wondered what the point was, but it had to be fun.

Goins continued, "J, I know now that men like to chase beautiful women, but I would refuse a good girl, wouldn't I?"

Jonas looked at Goins, "What would you think if a mediocre guy didn't say yes and was bothered by his fleas time and time again?"

Goins looked at him contemptuously, "how could he possibly talk to him, of course he won't say yes."

"So that's what you are," Jonas told her.

"J, you —" Goins shouted.

Goins let out a startled cry. The distant manager shouted: "Goins, are you crazy? I heard all!"

Jonas quickly motioned for Goins to be quiet. Goins looked at Jonas and said, "If I don't care about you, will you regret it and come to me? I know that men hate being courted, that's why."

Jonas quickly explained, "Even if you want to pursue me, we can't, and if you ignore me, we have even less chance!"

"Jonas!" Gong exclaimed again.

The manager trotted over, "Friday, don't you think you're a staff member?"

Jonas hurried to let Goins go first, but stopped the store manager himself and spoke to him casually.

By noon, when everyone was sleeping, chatting and drinking tea, Goins let Jonas go to the security checkpoint.

"Jonas." Goins said softly to Jonas.

Jonas looked puzzled, "Why do you call me that?"

"What's the matter?" Goins suddenly asked softly.

Jonas Seven said, "You used to be different, you usually talk so cold, so mean."

Goins smiled, "What is wrong with you? She is a girl, it is normal to speak politely. Oh yes, it is a double day off."

Jonas nodded.

Goins winked at Jonas, "It's the weekend."

Jonas knew what Goins meant. He didn't say yes, he just wanted her to invite him.

Jonas looked stunned, "Yeah, right!"

Gong min snapped, "what do you mean, you want to be beaten?"

Jonas said: "Why are you swearing?"

Goins said hurriedly: "I learned from you, you do that kind of thing every day, I am influenced by you."

Jonas added, "I didn't teach you that last word."

Goins smiled and said, "Walk, go for a ride on the weekend, you hear?"

Jonas quickly asked, "Okay, Rivers and Hong Kong?"

Goins wondered, "Why are you here?"

Jonas asked, "Don't you enjoy shopping?"

Goins disdainfully said: "Then I can only go shopping in the mall, eat a meal, watch a movie, go out?"

Jonas suddenly asked, "Do you want to go out, Jeju and Kyushu?"

Goins feigned anger and said, "Jonas, are you kidding me? In your eyes, I am just a tourist, a big lady."

"Just kidding," Jonas said quickly, "the two of us are going for a ride around the suburbs."

Goins smiled contentedly, "That's good, you're smart enough to know what I'm going to say, but I advise you not to play games, my IQ is much higher!"

Jonas thought to himself, even if you are a cunning little man, I will play you to death later and let you. . . . . .

After imagination, Sagan took Jonas out shopping, and just arrived at the door. The director would like to say a few words, but a look at Jonas and Sagan, and dare not say more, directly turned him away.

The two of them went for a walk and then went to the supermarket to get something to eat for tomorrow, saying they were going out shopping, but instead they were talking and having a good time, just like the kids in the fall.

Sagan showed a naivety and sweetness she had never seen before. Maybe she had been acting, but now she was Sagan, and Jonas liked that.

On Saturday, Jonas drove to Sagan's house, and not long after, Sagan came out in a pair of black stockings and high heels.
