Door-knocking

"I can't apologize to Sagan. I can't drag this out any longer. It's a coward. From the moment I broke up with her, I knew this was going to happen. It's better to take it in stride than be called an ostrich. It's coming anyway, and I'm scared shitless!"

Goins Zan exclaims: "Jonas, you really talk, I wish you didn't have a girlfriend."

Jonas laughed, "I don't have a girlfriend, but at least we're friends, but it's nice of you to remind me."

Dewey saw Jonas's resolute attitude and slapped him on the shoulder, "Take care, brother."

When Jonas returned, he looked around nervously, afraid of being summoned by the XO.

After more than two hours of trepidation, Jonas received a tweet from Goins.

Goins looked over at Jonas:"Jonas, the vice president, had gone out for a meeting.

Jonas quickly replied, "That's more like it."

By lunchtime, Jonas arrived at a restaurant with a smelly mouth.

Jonas smelled the familiar fragrance and looked up. It was Cayce.

Cayce looked at Jonas and smiled, "Can I talk to you?"

"I'm leaving."

Cayce sat down across from Jonas and asked, "Jonas, how long will it take you and Sagan to fix this?"

Jonas replied faintly, "We have broken up, we have no relationship."

"You think it's over, but Sagan doesn't," Cayce said. "She's trying to make it impossible for you to stay in the company. Just think about it."

Jonas looked at him contemptuously, "If you can't, then fine, I can go to another company."

Cayce looked at Jonas. "It's not easy to find a job these days with the economy so bad. Jonas, I'm asking you as a friend. You and Sagan have a good talk. Even if we're not lovers, we shouldn't be enemies."

Jonas said, "I will remember you, Sagan. Have you ever been in love?"

"I haven't found it yet," Cayce said sourly.

"You don't have to look around, either..." Jonas trailed off.

Cayce said quickly, "So what?" . . . . . . "

Jonas stifled a grumble and quickly changed the subject, "How about you play with Natalie?"

"Jonas, you're kidding me," Cayce said sourly, "Dewey is joking with you."

Jonas and Chancee circled outside and watched her go.

Jonas watched Cayce's back as he walked away, secretly determined that he must bear it and not think about it again. Otherwise he wasn't human, but Jonas noticed that the more he looked at her, the angrier he became.

When Jonas returned to the office, he had a few words with Stinky Mouth, then lay on the table and snored.

Jonas drifted off to sleep, he felt a familiar smell, he opened his eyes and saw Sagan.

Ignoring everything, Jonas jerked up from the ground and raced down the hallway faster than Dewey, then down a few more floors to make sure no one was there before he gasped.

Although Jonas is not afraid of Sagan, Jonas does not want to conflict with Sagan, because she is very influential in the company, and he is only surrounded by Dewey and Goins.

And these people, they don't have much to say, just pity.

He pulled out his phone and saw a message from Sun Pepper on J's social media platform to which Jonas quickly replied: "Sun Pepper, I miss you so much. I just had a nightmare about an old monster."

Sun Pepper immediately replied, "Rest assured, J, I will protect you."

J: "Let's go to KTV, Huaihai Road for a late supper tonight."

"Not today," Sun Pepe declined.

"What's wrong?" Jonas asked doubtfully.

"My parents are going to make you a big dinner today, crab, tortoise, virgin," Sun Pei said.

Jonas asked meaningfully, "Are you sure this is food?"

Sun Pepper scolded Jonas as he said, "You have come to visit us today in a formal way, get everything you need, bring me something good, and when you get through this, maybe we can get married!"

Jonas felt like a scoundrel, a dandy, a dandy, and it was a blessing to be married to a woman.

Jonas quickly bowed to the east and said to Sun Pei, "Don't worry, I'll prepare a big gift for you tonight to make your parents happy!"

Sun Pepper smiled, "My parents are rich and powerful people who don't need a house or a car, just your wife and me."

Jonas put down the phone, with mixed feelings. Sun Pepe has no good education, no formal work. She was a beautiful girl, after all, and it was nice to have a woman to live with. A bachelor would be content with a woman who warmed his bed.

Jonas said hello at the office and drove straight home.

Back at the house, Jonas picked out a couple of A-line clothes, cleaned himself up, then pulled out two Chinese and a bottle of Wuliangye wine.

Jonas arrived at Sun Pepe's house, apprehensive, perhaps this life-changing feast was coming, a grand banquet, or a feast?

poof! All this mess, all these bad dinners, I was imagining things.

Just then, a middle-aged woman appeared next to Jonas and tapped her on the shoulder, "Jonas, why don't you come in?

Jonas looked up and saw that it was Sun Pepe's mother, a short, slight, fat woman with short hair.

Jonas smiled, "Auntie, you may go."

"Stop talking about me, it's all family, come on in," Sun Peipei's mother said kindly.

Jonas walked in with Sun Peipei's mother, and Sun Pepe's house changed. The formerly dingy mahjong hallway was clean and tidy, with a little more energy and a little less gambling.
