Challenges

Dewey imagined it for a moment, then said to Jonas, "I'll tell you a few basic things, and you write them down."

Jonas began to write as Cecilia spoke. As the minutes ticked by, Cecilia let Jonas remember everything, and Jonas didn't know what to do.

Cecilia came out of the bathroom and said to Jonas, "Let me tell you about your knowledge."

Jonas asked, "Are you trying to trick them into coming to us?"

Of course, a lot of people in the market right now are liars, Dewey corrected immediately. We're not like that."

Jonas quickly explained, "I see, and that means you need to do better and try not to use shady tactics."

Cecilia nodded. "You can understand that, but the way you convince others varies from person to person. My way, neither you nor I can use it, depends on your ability. Just so you know, it's a tough business and sometimes you can work late into the night and not get anywhere. Be prepared."

Jonas simply replied, "This will do."

"Confidence is a good thing, but you have to have thick skin and smile when someone scolds you," Dewey extols. "We can't put on a patronizing face like your old company did."

Jonas quickly explained, "I know I've always had thick skin and usually talk to strangers."

Cecilia looked incredulous, "Really, so awesome, so awesome?"

Jonas: "yeah! I've talked to foreigners before! It's easy."

Cecilia agrees: "Yes, I want to find a person. I go first, you recite the theoretical knowledge, later I will give you an assessment!"

"No problem!" Jonas quickly agreed.

After Cecilia left, Jonas memorized all the theories. Jonas felt old, he had been remembering for more than ten minutes, but he still hadn't.

After half an hour of Jonas still not knowing anything about the game, Cecilia came up to Jonas and asked, "How about I test you?"

Jonas asked nervously, "Trouble."

"It's okay, we can do it." Cecilia looked to Jonas.

Cecilia asked a few more questions, and Jonas either couldn't answer them, or it was a hair's breadth.

Cecilia looked at Jonas: "Jonas, you must take it seriously, otherwise people ask you. This is your answer, I will give you money."

"I can recite it at night," Jonas told Cecilia. "Most importantly, the books are so boring, I don't like them, otherwise I can memorize them."

"Such as?" Dewey asked with interest.

Jonas thought for a moment and replied, "I am very interested in the stock market and foreign exchange markets.

Cecilia asked tentatively, "Really, let me test the price of Deutschmark to RMB."

Jonas immediately retorted: "No, Germany has joined the euro!"

"Yes, Mark is gone, but what about the franc? Is France going to join the euro?" asked Dewey cheerfully.

Jonas continued: "I have the Swiss franc. I remember it very well. I have seen in the history of Switzerland that this country has a lot to do with France. They have the Swiss franc. Switzerland is neutral and will not use the euro.

"You're smart, you're good, and I'll let you know that Sweden, Britain, Norway, they're all euros," Dewey said with a smile.

"Britain and Sweden are part of Europe, but they don't want to accept the euro currency, they don't want to be part of the euro zone," Jonas explained hurriedly. "Norway is not yet a member of the European Union, let alone the euro."

"You're smart enough to know that much," Dewey agreed. "I wonder, U.S. stock market, what's your favorite thing?"

"Americans love statistics, they love statistics," Jonas said. "But these numbers are optimistic, and they're a long way from being better. They're based on people who have been looking for work in the last few months, so there's more unemployment than we thought!"

Cecilia exclaimed, "Yes, you are very clever, and I was right about the person."

Jonas said triumphantly, "Of course, I am known as the King of Picking up Girls."

"What did you say?" Dewey chuckled.

'Nothing. ' Jonas answered quickly.

Cecilia looked to Jonas, "Okay, you go back and write down the information, then come by in the afternoon."

Jonas nodded, "Well, I'll go first."

Outside, Cayce pulled Jonas to sit next to her, "Jonas, how is your training going?"

Jonas looked at Cayce, "Fine, I have to work harder, where is my seat?"

Cayce looked over at Jonas, "Cecilia wants you to sit with me so we can play together."

Jonas gulped at the sight of Cayce in a pair of pants and black boots.

In the afternoon, Jonas was dragged to dinner and was about to go out the door when Cecilia stopped Cayce.

When the meeting was over, Jonas came back and said, "Jonas, I have to go.

Jonas answered truthfully, "I'm new here, I don't know much about the situation.

Cayce snorted, "If you are an honest man, there is no malice in this world."

"Sis, if you leave, Jonas will leave it to us." The two girls came over and spoke to Cayce.

Jonas looked at the two men's uniforms for a long moment. J: "Come, let's eat."

This new environment was where she had lived. Just a change of duty station, still in place.

Jonas sat with the two girls and stole a glance at them. They both looked young and beautiful and, crucially, Jonas was fixated on their uniforms. Just for a second. Wait, wait, wait. He'll be arrested.

Jonas imagined it, then chatted with them. Jonas didn't pursue it too much, he was struggling to control his fantasy skills.
