Turning Enemies into Friends

Jonas leaned over to Cecilia and asked when she would see her family, to which Cecilia replied: "It's not the best time."

Jonas looked stunned, "Why don't you trust me enough to let me visit your family?"

"Don't worry, I'm in my thirties," Cecilia reassured, "how can I go home with a man?"

Jonas asked, "So you're going to take me to see your parents?"

Cecilia shook Jonas's hand and said, "One day, I will let you meet my parents."

Jonas looked expectant, "I hope you come early or I'll be in a hurry."

Cecilia said unhurriedly: "Feelings are like a piece of beef teriyaki, what is your hurry?"

The two talked and laughed, not in a hostile way, but as friends.
