The Perfect Birthday

Arriving at Lena Xu's house and opening the door, Jonas walked in with Lena Xu in his arms.

Jonas put her on the bed and Lena Xu said to Jonas, "Thank you, Jonas, if it weren't for you, I would have slept in the car tonight."

"Feeling better?" Jonas said with some concern.

Lena Xu said nonchalantly, "Nothing, not yet, but I want to send you something."

Lena Xu reached for the cabinet on the other side and motioned for Jonas to open it, and Jonas looked at her, "Is there something scary in there?"

Lena Xu laughed nonchalantly, "You are such a coward because you watch too much bullshit."

Jonas immediately retorted, "I'm a dick, you have to be kidding me."

Jonas opened the cabinet and saw Hello Kitty.

Jonas took the phone and found Cayce enjoying it.

Lena Xu looked at Jonas. "Jonas, I wanted this doll for a long time. I liked it very much. I didn't plan to give it to Cayce Thith. But you were so kind to me, I gave her to you. Remember, this is my gift!"

Jonas was impressed, "Thank you so much, all three outfits are ready."

Lena Xu suddenly spoke, "I can give Cayce the toy, but I can't give up something."

Jonas looked stunned, "What's going on?"

Lena Xu looked at Jonas, "You understand."

Jonas felt like he couldn't do this anymore, so he stood up, "I'm going, you rest."

Lena Xu nodded, "Then you drive back and send me the message."

When Jonas got home, he immediately called Cayce and spoke to her for more than twenty minutes before he went to rest.

Jonas had been scrolling through the news on his bed for a while when he saw a man calling him on the social media platform.

Jonas opened his phone and saw Lena Xu.

"J, are you playing disappear?" asked Xu.

"I just got home, sorry," Jonas said quickly.

"I want to video with you." Lena Xu said somewhat sheepishly.

Jonas's heart fluttered, not knowing what to do, Lena Xu's video, Jonas connected.

"Look, your legs are swollen," Lena Xu said to Jonas.

Jonas said: "You have beautiful legs."

Lena Xu laughed dumbly, "That's what you think."

Jonas said: "Well, I was just complimenting you."

"Do you prefer Cayce's legs?" asked Xulina.

Jonas casually replied, "Everyone has their own strengths."

"Don't say that, you have to pick!" said Xulina, unamused.

Jonas replied faintly, "You come."

"Really, you're shitting me?" said Lena Xu cheerfully.

Jonas said firmly, "No. I've always been a reasonable person. I'm going to bed."

Lena Xu hurriedly implores: "Do not sleep, I am too pain to sleep, all because of you. You can not comfort me?"

Jonas looked glum, "Okay, I'll talk to you some more."

The two talked until well after two in the evening, when they stopped.

Over the next few days, Jonas was ready for Cayce.

As for Lena Xu, Jonas was afraid to say more. Xu called Jonas several times, but Jonas didn't say much to Xu.

It was Friday, and Jonas had been avoiding Cayce all this time.

Jonas smiled at Cayce and said, "How about I take you to a movie tonight?"

Cayce looked puzzled, "For a movie?"

Jonas chuckled, "Okay, let's go somewhere else."

Cayce looked resigned, "That's all you can do. Okay, let's go back."

"J, what are you doing here?" Jonas asked.

"I'm hungry now, let's go in and eat," Jonas said lightly.

Cayce nodded, "Good, in case you call me hungry and I'm not in the mood."

The two of them walked into the private room holding hands, and instead of saying too much, Cayce's friends surprised her by pulling out some streamers.

Cayce hesitated, "J, this is..."

Jonas looked at her, "I want to surprise you, okay?"

Cayce took Jonas in his arms, "Jonas, I know you've been busy with all this lately, and I thought you were cheating!"

Jonas replied unkindly, "How can that be?"

Natalie and Lina Xu also came out of the room and brought Jonas's things and said to Cayce, "Jonas gave it to you."

Cayce gathered everything up, "J, how do you know so much?"

Jonas looked at her gently, "I remembered every word you said, so I searched for you for a long time, and I found you."

Cayce took Jonas in his arms and choked out, "Jonas, it's so kind of you to remember everything I said. I'm so happy to have you as a boyfriend. Can you promise me that I'll never leave my life?"

"good." Jonas nodded.

Jonas glanced at Lena Xu, who was startled by her stare.

Cayce's birthday party went well, and she told everyone that she had a good boyfriend. Jonas hugged Cayce even more affectionately, an act of intimacy in the eyes of outsiders, but Jonas knew he was guilty of being a thief.

Long into the night, Cayce and Jonas dismissed everyone.

As Cayce and Xu talked, Natalie looked at Jonas and said softly, "Jonas, you are doing very well, your birthday party is going very well."

Jonas took it for granted, "Cayce is just happy."

"I hope you can hold on." Natalie said.

"A certain." Jonas said firmly.

Just then, Lena Xu came over and held out her hand to Jonas, "Jonas, you did well, we shook hands."

Jonas hesitated, but took Xu's hand anyway. With the other girls watching, it was difficult for Jonas to communicate with Lena Xu, but when she shook Lena Xu's hand, Jonas was thrilled.

Cayce looked at the two of them and spoke, "Then let Jonas bring us here."
