Redemption

Cayce left Jonas alone. Jonas stood there, as if nothing had happened.

After Jonas and Riverview broke up, he was depressed and worked like a dead man.

Li Mingxia saw Jonas's blank face and told him to take a holiday. Let Jonas go home this afternoon and don't waste too much time at the office.

When Jonas returned home, his heart was even emptier when he saw it was empty. It was a shame, he thought, that such a good marriage had been ruined.

Jonas and Stig had a drink and by the time they got to the restaurant, Stig was already waiting.

Stig's expression didn't seem happy. Jonas talked to him for a while and found him and his girlfriend were having an awkward conversation.

The woman didn't look educated. She was supposed to be a high school student, but she was pretty and worked in nightclubs, and Stig liked her a lot. But even if you like it, if you really want to be together, there are a lot of problems, and if nothing else, it's hard to afford a house with Stig's money.

Neither Stig nor Jonas spoke until they had finished their drinks, then Jonas said, "I regret now why I did this to Cayce.

Stig looked at Jonas, "Cayce is a good girl, if you don't cherish it, I can't help it."

"I love another girl." Jonas suddenly spoke.

Stig snorted, "They'll like you, do you know who we are?"

Jonas sighed, "Everyone has their dreams, and I'm no exception."

Stig sighed, "You're dying, you're so tired of living."

Jonas looked helpless, "What can I do when it comes to this?"

Stig thought for a moment and said, "All I can do is try, there's no other way."

Jonas looked blank, "Cayce is gone, what else can I do?"

"Everything depends on you," said Stig gently, "how dare you, along with your family, be so brazen that it is not difficult to save Thyme."

Jonas asked tentatively, "He's been looking for her every day, just shameless."

Stig brother light said: "should be so. You do as you see fit, can change, can not change."

Jonas nodded, "You're right.

When Jonas got home, he pulled out his cell phone and prepared to call Cayce. Jonas hesitated for more than ten minutes before finally dialing.

"What's wrong?" Cayce asked dryly.

Jonas looked at her, "I need to talk to you."

Cayce snorted coldly, "No discussion, don't call me."

Jonas begged bitterly, "Cayce, please let me rest."

"You can do this to me when you get the chance," Cayce said sourly.

J: "I promise I won't hurt you.

Before Cayce could finish his sentence, Cayce hung up the phone, and Jonas froze, thinking he had no chance.

The next morning, Cayce's home was just south of the river.

Cayce waited downstairs for more than half an hour before Jonas walked up to her and said, "I'll drive you."

"I don't need you to drive, I have my own car." Cayce said coldly.

Jonas refused to give up: "since you have come, you just leave, I feel bad, let's talk."

Jonas grabbed Cayce and refused to let go. Cayce also knew that Jonas was, thought about it, and said, "Okay, you can send me to work, but you can't touch me."

'Got it. ' Jonas smiled.

Jonas sat in the car and said nothing the whole way. He felt he could not go on like this, so he said to Cayce, "You look beautiful today."

Chaney didn't go to J, who added, "It's not often you're such a nice person, and that's my favorite place."

"J, don't you think it's boring if you don't talk such nonsense?" Cayce asked, looking at J.

Jonas looked speechless, "I'm just trying to ease the tension, after all, I care about you."

"Say that again and I'll leave." Cayce said dryly.

"Ching, spare me your life, I swear it will never happen again." Jonas said.

Cayce looked coldly at Jonas, "Nothing else matters, that's all."

"I'm really sorry," Jonas said in disappointment, "I didn't want it to come to this, just think about it."

Cayce didn't speak, but waited for the red light, and Jonas followed.

"Cayce, don't leave me." Jonas took her hand.

Cayce struggled, chanting, "You need to let go, it's dangerous to do this on the road."

Jonas pulled Cayce into his arms, "If you don't forgive me, then my life is meaningless, and I might as well just get run over."

Cayce thought ungraciously and said, "are you sick? You want to kill yourself if you have a little setback. How can you not take such a blow?"

Jonas roared, "I'm mad, I'm mad, Ching, spare your life."

As they fought, a black sedan drove past them. Jonas was afraid of what Cayce might miss, and quickly pulled Cayce to the side.

By the time Jonas responded, he was on the ground, looking dazed but not too hurt.

"J, are you okay?" Cayce asked Jonas quietly.

Jonas looked at his body. It was fine, but his foot seemed to be touched by something, and then he saw blood.

Cayce thought about calling the police, but said, "Wait, I'll call the police."

J: "Don't yell, I'm a parking violation, I ran into a black cab, the police won't catch me."

Cayce asked with some concern, "What's that supposed to do, you're already injured?"

Jonas asked Cayce, "Can you take me to the hospital?"

Cayce immediately said, "That's natural, come and take my hand."

Cayce helped Jonas back to her car. She looked at Jonas, "Jonas, it's nothing serious, just a minor injury."

Jonas said nothing, a pained look on his face to gain Cayce's pity.

After all, women are maternal, especially Cayce. There had been some old feelings between Cayce and J, and Jonas had decided that this collision was for the best, that his only wish now was not to break his bones or he would never play football again.
