"Scout reports tell us that the head of the enemy's left army was the officer I battled," Deane de la Falaise reports to the war meeting. "The right army is headed by a man called Jin. Nothing is known much about him except that he is from the eastern empire."
"From Owari?" the queen becomes intrigued. "Are we sure that he is not a general from Owari nor is the right army an imperial regiment?"
"The uniforms of the right army are different from the rest," Prince Julien enters the discussion. "I've sent scouts and confirmed that although they had the formation of soldiers, they were not as disciplined as the rest of the Essenian army. They could be mercenaries."
"Mercenaries from the east. I see," the queen smirks. "This is all becoming clear to me now."
"A strategy?" the prince asks.
"No, the entire driving force of this war. General de la Falaise, during your battle in the Southwestern Provinces were the enemy troops less responsive to battle?"
