Chapter 40

I planned on going alone to experiment with the blackhole. But Hazel and Fay have voluntarily agreed to accompany me. It's not that I asked them to. They kinda put pressure on me and came with me.

When both of them are here, how can I leave Eden behind? She is here as well. This experiment involves a blackhole. So I chose an open field. Without much obstacles.

A blackhole will suck you the moment you get close to it. So, we have to be careful.

"Listen, this time it's going to be a bit dangerous. I will erect a few barriers around you. Stay inside. Don't come out at all."

I am warning all of them. Most of the times it's just Eden who complains about that. But this time is special. All of them are complaining.

They don't know what the experiment is about. Let's ask Hazel.

"Hazel, do you know what a blackhole is?"

"Isn't it that black thing that sucks light in?" (Hazel)

"Don't answer a question with another one. But yes, it is something that sucks light in without letting it escape."

"What are you talking about? How can light be sucked in?" (Fay)

"You have never seen blackholes? I will tell you. Blackhole is a hole in space. It is so powerful that not even light can escape it."

"Impossible." (Fay)

"It is very possible. Wait here, I will show you."

I turn to Eden now. Both of them have understood. I don't know how much Fay understood but Hazel won't do anything now.

"Eden, wait here. I will be right back."

"Ok." She just cheerfully nods. Ahh…how sweet. She really is a good girl.

I erect a barrier. But this barrier won't break, right?

(You can erect multiple barriers at once. Now you have more . So you can easily do that. I suppose 5 should suffice.)

Thanks. I erect another 4 around the first one. The barrier is transparent. So they can clearly see everything. But Fay touches the barrier a bit and then falls on her knees once again.

Both Hazel and Eden are comforting her. I don't know what happened but I will ask later.

I move away from them. We traveled a long way. We are currently in between our city and the capital. There is an open plain that is seemingly endless. I used the bike which I hadn't used for a while.

The seating order was problematic but somehow we reached this place.

I am standing at least 500 meters apart from them. Now then, how should I start?

(Start with…)

Shut up!! Let me think for myself. If I keep relying on you then I would become useless in a real fight.

(Ok.)

Now, first up is coordinates. A blackhole is a hole. Meaning, it tears through a specific point in space at a time. Then, I have to fix one point in space.

God, if I had put more effort into studying. I remember those 3 dimensional coordinates but don't remember them. X axis, Y axis and Z axis…..shit, I can't remember.

Anyway, let's think of that point. I look around and find a pebble. I toss it lightly and it flew a little ahead of me. That works as a marker. For my convenience.

Now focus. First, see the world from an outside perspective. It's sometimes called the third eye. I close my eyes and concentrate.

I can faintly see something. I focus on the pebble I threw. I see it. It feels kinda illusory when I see it like this. It's like the earth doesn't exist. I am floating in space with just a pebble in front of me.

Then the next job is to keep increasing the gravity. The pebble is on the ground but I can't increase pressure on the ground. I have to point at only the pebble.

I gather and start pouring it onto the pebble. By doing so I am increasing the gravity.

I continue pouring. I can feel the gravity increasing. It's sucking me towards it. The normal pebble is now pulling me. It has become heavy. But that isn't enough.

More more more, I need more gravity. So much that the fabric of space in that exact point tears. I continue pouring . It's kinda exhausting.

For the first time, I am feeling exhausted. Rather than physical, it's mental. I feel tired. But I still haven't created the black hole.

I open my eyes to actually see what's happening. The pebble is gone. But something is happening. The air currents are awry. They are blowing towards the location where the pebble was. Sand and land is being sucked towards it. There is something there.

I just increase the gravity a bit more and boom. I small blackhole appeared. It's small. The size of a grape seed. But that's more than enough.

If it becomes bigger than it already is, it would bring trouble. I stop pouring more . A small blackhole is in front of me. It's greedily sucking everything. The trees from afar are flying towards it. I feel that the earth itself is going in. This isn't good.

(How much did I use?)

(About 20000. It's a lot. But you created a perfectly balanced blackhole. It's stable as well. You can even go to the other side if you want.)

(That's scary. And no way I can enter that small thing. I should probably close the hole.)

(Yes. Just increase the gravity even more.)

(Eh..won't that make the blackhole bigger?)

(Just do it. And leave the rest to me.)

(Leave the rest? Is something going to happen?)

(Trust me.)

It's kinda hard. I don't even know who it is. But all things considered, let's trust her.

(Ok. I will trust you.)

I get ready to start pouring my again and increase the gravity. However, I don't know what'll happen.
