First contact
After coming to this planet, I have made a new partner. A spirit who became our partner. But I have yet to encounter a human.
We have been crossing a forest. Fay said that there are monsters in the forest but I used intimidation. I just released a bit of my mana and it made our surroundings a bit distorted.
So the monsters would always steer clear of us.
"Master, where should we go first?" (Hazel)
"Good question. Fay, should we directly go to the city or go elsewhere first?"
"Mm….. I think I should go and see my mother. At this time of the day, she should be home." (Fay)
"Your mother it is then. We all should go. I want to meet your mother as well. How far is your home?"
"About 10 minutes in horse carriage." (Fay)
That's a problem. I don't have any vehicles right now. I want to let Aera and Aegis rest as well. I guess, I will try my hands and creation.
"Master, what will you do?" (Hazel)
"I think a car would be fine. I can't create a really intricate car but I can make one big enough for us to move."

I close my eyes and focus. The design and everything is perfect. The materials would be the earth. Man, transmutation is difficult.
I have to work hard and I'm done. The car is standing right in front of me.
It's like an SUV. We have me, Hazel, Aura, Eden, Fay and Doris. So 6 people in total. This size is perfect.
I have made a break and accelerator and the steering wheel to drive. Hazel didn't get that surprised. Aura is somewhat surprised.
Eden is touching the car curiously. Fay is giving me a blank look. Doris is somehow intimidated by the car.
"Get in. We are going."
I say and sit on the driver's seat. This car is just the body and a few seats and some basic controls.
I will send mana through the accelerator to speed up the car and when I need to stop it, I will simply push the brakes.
This is the easiest car I could think of. After they got in, I started driving. I am driving at a low speed. Most likely 40 km/h.
That much should be enough. Because it only takes 10 minutes in a horse carriage. Meaning the distance should not be more than 8 kilometers.

"What is this vehicle?" (Fay)
"It's a car. Or it looks like a car but it isn't. I didn't create it exactly. I just created the framework. The main engine or the power source is missing. I am using my mana to drive this."
"You mean, this uses something else as a fuel?" (Fay)
"Yes. It normally used fossil fuels. Like oil or gas. But I don't have them and I don't know the structure of the engine. So I couldn't create it exactly."
"Master, we should have brought our bike." (Hazel)
"You did love that bike, didn't you?"
"Yes. I loved the feeling of air hitting my face. But back then I did not have this form yet." (Hazel)
"Then I will go back and pick it up for you. It can also help us in a lot of ways."
That bike was pretty helpful and it used solar energy. So I think I won't have to think about the pollution.
And I was out of the forest. I was following a trail made by carriages and I was out. I can see the city walls but how will I go in?
"Fay, where is your mother's home?"
"Just next to the gate. But the guards are there. How will we enter?" (Fay)
"Hmm….. I prefer not to cause a scene. So how about we get off here and use some other means."
"Agreed."
They gave their input and I stopped the car. We are still a bit away from the gate so I don't think they have noticed us. Now what should I do?
Doris was giving me a sparkling stare. Maybe she has something to say.
"Do you have a way, Doris?"
"Yes, master. I can use high ranking magic, Invisibility. I can make all of us invisible." (Doris)
"That's nice. But what about the sound?"
"I will use Mute to kill our sound." (Doris)
"That's great. So cast it. Do you need to chant?"
"No. Chanting is not necessary. I have many years of experience. I can cast spells without a chant." (Doris)
I gave her the go signal and she just said the name of those spells.
I don't feel anything different but we started moving and soon passed the gate. The gatekeepers didn't even budge. So they didn't notice us in any way.
I analyzed the spells and found out their mechanics.
The invisible spells is refracting the light so we don't reflect any light meaning we are basically invisible. And the mute spell has changed the air pressure around us.
They can't hear because the frequency has changed. Pretty useful. I'd like to use them as soon as possible.
Feels like I am cheating but this is me. Now that we are within the city, we head to our destination.
We didn't undo the spells because we will need it for a little longer.
"This is it." (Fay)
Fay stopped us in front of a house. It is a humble place. A normal medieval period german stone house. It has two floors. Not a bad place.
I like houses like this. I look at the surroundings and there's no one.
"Doris, undo the spells. No one is here now."
She didn't do anything but I think the spells are lifted.
Fay knocked on the door.
"Who is.." The door opened with a woman asking that question. But when she saw Fay, she stopped midway.
She just stared at Fay silently.
"I am home." (Fay)
But Fay was grabbed and pulled in. Her mother pulled her into her chest and started crying.
Maybe she was really worried about her.
"Where were you? We lost all contact with you. The same thing happened with Duke Martin. I thought you were dead."
So they were properly maintaining their communication but it was disrupted. Well, I was the one who disrupted their communication.
Seeing a touching mother-daughter reunion, I felt something.
(Maybe you miss your mother.)

System talked to me for the first time in a while. But maybe I remembered my mother. I will talk to her after I settle down.
Fay is trying to calm her mother down with an embarrassed face. I am just watching this tearful reunion. Aura is nodding her head. Maybe as a fellow mother, she understands the feeling.
Hazel is smirking at Fay and Doris is hugging my arm. Incidentally Eden is on my shoulder. After she calms down, we will talk. I have to apologize to her because I am reason. But still, this feels unreal.
