"...time well spent"

"Enjoying the show?" He crossed his arms over his chest as he solely focused on one of the strongest devils.

Said devil just smiled.

"Indeed. However, why aren't you joining them? Afraid?" Rizevim Lucifer had mastered the devil smile to a tee.

He ignored the slight insult as he knew it was Rizevim's way of trying to rile him up.

"I didn't want you to feel left out," the older devil raised an eyebrow at his words.

"How about I entertain you?" He finished as he let his magic burst out exerting pressure on Rizevim.

"Hoh?" The smile on the devil's face widened and his eyes glinted with amusement and a hint of surprise, "You're too young to try and beat me, child."

Subtlety wasn't his strongest fort, however, he made sure to not let the older devil see his attack coming until too late.

Using his body as a cover, he manipulated his power of destruction to form two swords behind his back. Doing his utmost to not let its magical output be sensed.

"We'll see." After his words, he rapidly jumped away from the table as one of the swords went flying towards Rizevim with incredible speed. The gray-haired man disappeared in an impressive burst of speed.

He dissolved the sword before it could hit a random devil still fighting in the manor.

He grabbed the remaining sword and held it in a firm grip as he blocked a knife to his crotch, the knife completely obliterated as it made contact with the power of the destruction-shaped sword.

His goal today was not to kill Rizevim Lucifer but to make him acknowledge his strength and realize he wouldn't be able to beat him.

Why not just kill Rizevim Lucifer now and govern the underworld?

Because people wouldn't just follow him, for example, the Lucifuge clan would be against him. Therefore, he has to first gain the support of many of the remaining pillars.

He would show the other pillars his power and make them realize he would make the devils the strongest of the factions and most likely they would follow him after.

Or he could get stronger where even him fighting alone against the rest of the underworld wouldn't cause a problem. For that, he needed more stamina. He was confident in winning against everyone in a one versus one.

However, if they all rallied together that could be a problem. Even more so, if other factions joined them. However, devils had their pride so he doubted that would be the case.

So, he would try to convince the pillars to follow him first, all the while continuing his training, and once he got strong enough if the pillars hadn't supported him by then, he would just take over by force.

This fight, if it could be called that, shouldn't last too long. He didn't want to reveal all his tricks this soon.

Power of destruction surrounded his body as the energy took a darker shade. He raised his hand as a small sphere appeared floating above it.

A small sphere with his power of destruction so concentrated should be able to heavily damage Rizevim, if not kill him.

But obviously, the older devil wouldn't just stay still and let it hit him.

He needed to trap him.

A huge magic circle appeared on the floor as it completely covered the whole manor.

Domain control. Truly, a very useful ability.

Rizevim suddenly noticed a huge decrease in his speed, not even being able to run as fast as a regular human. Lucifer's eyes widened in alarm as his opponent came closer with that particularly dangerous sphere of destruction.

Another circle appeared underneath Lucifer, a teleportation circle.

The admittedly faster-than-normal magic circle didn't have time to teleport the Lucifer away as with a quick flick of his power of destruction, the circle dissolved into nonexistence.

With a kick to the older devil's chest, he fell down on his butt.

He pointed the sphere at Lucifer's head, however before anything could happen, Lucifer freed himself from the domain.

He appeared a few feet away from where he was.

"This fight is pointless. As devils there are better luxuries to enjoy, how about I show you some delicacies while we have a private chat?" Lucifer tried to appear as if the fight hadn't troubled him much, however, the sweat bead that rolled down his temple said otherwise.

While he was appearing friendly and amicably now, it wouldn't be long before he started planning how to kill him if the need arose.

"Sure," He replied simply, his domain magic circle dissipated as his power of destruction also disappeared.

"Great, then it's time for this event to come to an end." Black bat wings appeared on his back as he flew to the center of the manor, in front of everyone's view.

Rizevim applied his own magic pressure which gave a very cold sensation and caused some weaker devils to pass out. Those devils were ignored as nobody batted an eyelash. The rest of the heirs, weren't fairing much better as most were on their knees, looking terrified. Only Ajuka remained standing straight albeit sweat was visibly running on his body.

While Rizevim gave a speech to which he really didn't pay attention, he glanced toward Serafall, she wasn't passed out, but she definitely looked tired and Rizevim exerting that much pressure on her wasn't helping.

He walked towards her, Rizevim's magic pressure not affecting him in the slightest. While his own magic pressure hadn't really affected Rizevim that much, aside from making him curious and more cautious, he never really bothered training that part of his skill set.

Just using his power of destruction intimidated his foes, more so if they were clearly able to sense the strength of it.

He arrived near Serafall and gently grab her arm to help her stand up.

Her body tensed as her head quickly snapped towards him. A quick second passed as she recognized him once she gazed upon his features.

"Sirzechs..." A tired sigh left her lips as she put more of her weight on his body, now entirely depending upon him to not fall. His arms went around her as he pulled her closer to more comfortably hold her.

"It's okay Sera, it's over." He patted her dark hair as she just nuzzled her face into his neck.

"Mhm..." He held her as she fell asleep in his arms, exhausted from today's events.

Rizevim finished speaking soon after and various teleportation circles appeared as heirs left one by one.

He heard footsteps approach him and he softly turned so as to not wake up Serafall, Ajuka was casually strolling towards them.

"So how did it go?" Were Ajuka's words upon reaching them.

"What do you mean?" He gave a questioning look towards Ajuka.

"Your fight with Rizevim," His friend clarified, looking intrigued.

He was about to respond when he was interrupted by said devil quietly standing behind Ajuka.

"What an informal way to refer to your lord, boy."

He could see Ajuka's eyes widening in surprise as he quickly stepped away from the devil, standing closer to where he and Serafall were.

"I-I'm sorry, my lord." Ajuka gave a deep bow, this was not the weakling heirs of the Maou, this was a descendant that had actually met the real Lucifer and had stronger ties with him. Not to mention, Rizevim's strength was leagues above the other Maous descendants.

Rizevim could care less about Ajuka's apology as he directly ignored him. Rizevim turned to face him, showing curiosity as to who he was so tenderly hugging. Rizevim's eyes scanned her figure for signs of who she was but then turned to look into Sirzech's eyes.

A smile appeared on Rizevim's face as he held out a golden card, "Here, visit me at this place and time," he casually stated, never breaking eye contact.

As much as he hated having to deal with this Lucifer descendant when all he wanted was to spend time alone with Serafall, he was curious what Rizevim would want to talk about.

One of his hands separated from hugging Serafall as he reached to grab hold of the card, his eyes briefly scanned its contents.

A gentleman's club, seven days from now.

Huh, Serafall might not be happy about that. Oh well.

He gave a simple nod to Rizevim to convey he would attend the meeting.

Rizevim quickly caught the hint that he was not wanted there any longer, his eyes flickered towards Serafall once again. Not quite being able to see her face as it was being hidden by Sirzech's chest. Lucifer's curiosity increased and he would no doubt investigate further into knowing who the young lady was.

"By the way, expect a gift from me to arrive at your house soon. Consider it a present for being as strong as you are at such a young age." With those parting words, Rizevim teleported himself away.

Once Rizevim left, Ajuka finally raised his head again, he had been bowing this whole time.

"Sirzechs," Ajuka complained, "Why didn't you tell me he was right behind me?"

He just shook his head, amused by his friend's antics. "How would I know you were going to address him like that?"

Ajuka simply sighed. They spent more time just standing there in the Lucifer manor, ignoring the maids diligently cleaning the place. He spent that time explaining to his friend how everything had transpired from his point of view.

After their talk, Ajuka claimed he had to report back to his family and left.

Leaving him alone with Serafall.

He shook her softly, trying to wake her up.

She groaned at his movement and further tightened her hug on him.

"Sera, you should go home, your parents might be worried for you."

"You're too comfy," she raised her face to look at him, "and I don't want to leave you."

A blush formed on his cheeks at her words, and he softly whispered in her ear, "Okay then, you can stay with me."

A soft smile blessed her features as she contently continued to snuggle with him, her eyes closing once more.

The Gremory's clan magic circle appeared underneath them and, in a flash, they left the Lucifer manor.

The place they reappeared was a common sight for him. His own room.

He let out a spike in his demonic power to inform his family he arrived but informed a maid outside his room to not let him be disturbed and to tell the Sitri family that Serafall would stay with him for today.

Serafall was awake and was waiting for him on his bed, where he had placed her before going to talk with the maid.

She clearly wasn't going to sleep without him and not letting wanting to let her wait too long he approached her.

She quickly hugged him again as soon as he was within her reach, he just smiled at her actions and held her even closer.

He knew they would have to talk tomorrow, but for now, he was also going to rest.

--

Tomorrow came quicker than he expected as he had an incredible sleep. No doubt it was thanks to his bed companion.

He didn't want to wake her up, mostly because he also didn't want to leave the bed, so he spent countless minutes just softly massaging her hair.

His massaging stopped when he felt her raise her head and she opened those pretty violet eyes to gaze at him.

"Morning~" She happily greeted him as she pecked him on the cheek.

"Good morning," He warmly smiled at her.

She proceeded to stretch to fully wake up, but even after doing so, she didn't leave his side.

"Sooo, what did Rizevim Lucifer want with you?" She tried to ask playfully but her tone betrayed her worry.

He simply pulled her closer to him, making her lay her head on his chest. She didn't raise a word of complaint as she appreciated their closeness. He proceeded to tell her the events that transpire yesterday, adding slightly more detail than what he told Ajuka, simply because he wanted to entertain her more.

She hummed at certain parts of his story and showed happiness at knowing how strong he was. Serafall went quiet when she learned where the meeting would take place.

As he thought she would.

"Sera, I won't do anything at that place, so you have nothing to worry about and-...." His face went blank as he noticed her soft and even breathing.

She was asleep. He could feel his eyebrow twitch, but he controlled his annoyance.

He pinched her side, "Ahh!" She quickly woke up, "Sirzechs why did you do that?" She complained as she rubbed her side.

He didn't answer her and just silently stared at her.

She quickly realized what happened, "Hehee, sorry?" She cheekily apologized.

He turned away from her, "Am I that boring to you?" He wasn't really mad, he just wanted to tease her.

"Nooo! It's just being in your arms feels, really, really, comfy," She threw herself at him, pinning him on the bed.

"You're not boring at all!" She hugged him tightly, rubbing her cheek against his.

He remained quiet, she fidgeted at his silence.

"I'm sorry, okay?" She kissed his lips, "Sorry," she mumbled as she continued to kiss all around his face.

He felt himself get ticklish, so with a laugh, he confessed.

"I'm kidding Sera, I'm not mad. You're just too cute not to tease." He chuckled at her gobsmacked face.

"You..." She hardly gripped a pillow close by as if trying to release her frustration on it and calm down.

"You dummy!" She did not calm down and he received a pillow to the face for his troubles.

He continued to chuckle as she kept smashing the pillow against him.

He was not going to let this continue for too long though, with a quick maneuver, reversed their positions. Serafall squirmed to get out of his hold as he pinned her beneath him.

He leaned in to kiss her and a second later she stopped her struggle, fully reciprocating.

They spent various minutes like that, having to break the kiss sometimes to take air before they got back into it.

"Are you calm now?" He asked her after their make-out session.

"Mhm," Serafall nodded, her cheeks pink.

"Good," He gave her one last kiss before getting out of the bed.

"We should get breakfast," He quickly approached his closet and switched his clothes. Fully aware of Serafall's gaze on his body, but not really minding it.

"Breakfast can wait, back to bed?" Serafall really didn't want to leave.

"Nope, we've been here for a long time now." He finished changing and approached her, trying to convince her to get out of bed.

"Finee~ But carry me."

He raised an eyebrow, but she did not budge, her arms outstretched in the air waiting to get picked up.

He sighed, "Really, you." But he complied, carrying her into his arms. He held her thighs as she wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist.

"Yay~" She cheered and kissed him as thanks.

He didn't mind carrying her, but it would be awkward if his parents saw him.

But they were planning a marriage contract between him and Serafall so it didn't really matter.

Reaching the dining table, his parents weren't anywhere, he sighed in slight relief.

"Huh, Auntie and Uncle aren't here." Serafall turned in his hands, trying to look everywhere for signs of his parents.

"Maybe, if we didn't take too long in bed you would have seen them," he remarked.

"If it's due to that, then I don't mind not seeing them," His cheeks turned slightly red at her words.

"Is that so?" He tried his hardest to make the blush disappear.

"Yup~!" She held his face in her hands, smiling at his blushing face.

"Time with you is time well spent," She claimed, giving him another kiss to accentuate her seriousness.

"Enough flowery words you," He quickly put her down, so she couldn't see his blushing face anymore.

She giggled at his actions, "You too are easy to tease, Sirzechs~"

He ignored her words, preferring to start eating his breakfast.

"Sirzechs," Her slightly nervous tone caught his attention.

"Yes?" He inquired.

"Would you accompany me to my house?" She looked him squarely in the eyes, "With you there, we can explain what happened yesterday better."

"Sera," He smiled at her, "You don't have to make excuses to spend more time with me, I'll gladly go with you."

She blushed at being caught, "Am I not being too needy?"

"Maybe, but I like you just the way you are."

Serafalll smiled and leaned closer to him, their noses almost touching.

"Enough flowery words you~" She repeated his words.

He smiled amusedly at her using his own words against him.

With their faces this close, he licked her lips to wipe off some crumbs on her lips.

He saw her blush and notice her eyes gaining a hint of lust.

Smirking internally, he backed away, returning to his breakfast.

"Let's finish quickly and go to your house," He sipped his drink, ignoring the look he was getting.

He let his mug rest back on the table, "Are you not going to finish your foo-"

He couldn't finish his question as Serafall tackled him to the ground.

"You tease! You can't just do that," she pinned him underneath her as she smashed her lips against his. Her tongue forced her way into his mouth and tried to wrestle his into submission.

He smiled against her lips and continued to kiss her back, not even feeling any pain at having been tackled like that. Obviously, Serafall also knew it wouldn't affect him, otherwise, she wouldn't have done it.

"At. This. Point. We'll. Never. Leave." He tried to explain to Serafall in between her kisses.

"I wouldn't mind that~" She replied before continuing her actions.

He would oblige her for a bit, this felt way too good to stop.

He could clearly feel her breasts pressing against his chest as she kept pressing herself against him.

Her warmth was intoxicating.

Besides, it's not like they were going to do this for too long. Might as well enjoy it while it lasts, right?

His hands started softly caressing her spine. "Mmn~" She gave a low moan against his lips in a show of her appreciation.

He could hear her moans all day. Alas, they didn't have all day.
