CHAPTER 6

The club buzzed with excitement. People danced and drank with careless abandon to a loud music which blared from a loud speaker. The DJ nodded wildly as he rolled the disc and pumped his hands with vigor encouraged by the participants of the party.

Minutes later, a woman stepped in. Her pale skin illuminated by the club lights made it difficult to stand out. So did her attire. Unlike most of the ladies who were skimpily dressed, she wore a black button-up short sleeve blouse with two of the buttons undone to reveal a decent amount of cleavage and a tight black jean over black flats. Her raven hair flowed to her shoulders and accentuated her heart shaped face with brown eyes and thick red lips.

Heads turned as she walked over to the bar and sat on a stool facing the bartender. The bartender grinned nervously as her eyes settled on him. Despite her evident beauty, a smile was absent on her face.

"Your order, ma'am?" He stuttered.

"Martini." Her voice came out as fine as silk, laced with a very ancient accent.

The bartender nodded and quickly went to get her order, stumbling on the way much to her mild amusement. Returning later he handed her the glass of liquor, his hands shaking as he did so.

"Relax, darling." A smirk tugged at her red lips as she accepted the drink and placed some notes on the table. "I don't bite."

Stuttering apologies, the bartender swiftly moved to the other end. No doubt to conceal his embarrassment, she guessed.

As she took a sip , she observed the area. A new music had just come on at the moment and the dancing had gotten wilder. Hands were free to roam about bodies and touched erogenous zones. She could smell the heavy booze and sweat from the crowd. It was almost enough to make her wretch.

Her eyes turned away from the dancing and met a figure seated at a table at the far end of the club. She raised her eyebrows both in surprise and interest at the mystery of that person. By the body shape, it was obvious that it was a man. But the black hooded sweater he wore, with the hood concealing the top half of his face and only revealing his lip was what peaked her interest. There was also a can of beer placed on the table in front of him. She also wondered if he had been there for a long while and why she never noticed him until that moment. From the way his head was angled, it was obvious he was staring at her too. There was something about this fellow that made her suddenly feel drawn to him.

Just as she stood up from her seat, a man quickly blocked her way. Slight anger boiling within her, she looked up and was about to tell him off when she noticed his features. He had a slim muscular figure with brown curly hair and deep blue eyes. Her knees nearly gave out on the spot but she quickly composed herself.

"Hi, beautiful." He smiled, showing perfect pearly whites.

"Hello." She returned his smile.

"I just noticed you sitting over here by yourself and it made no sense to me. Such a hot chick like yourself deserves some company." His deep suave voice increased her heartbeat.

She raised her eyebrows when she noticed where his eyes were. He lips spoke to her but his eyes spoke to her healthy cleavage exposed by her blouse.

'Men.' She snorted inwardly.

She had to admit she admired his boldness. Besides, it was months since someone had taken care of the itch between her thighs. With the way the man's eyes glazed over with lust and the aura she detected on him, she knew what he wanted.

She glanced over to the end of the club where she saw the mysterious figure earlier, only to pout in disappointment when she met his table empty. He was gone. Sighing, she quickly forced a smile and turned back to her admirer who had an expectant gaze.

"As much as I would appreciate the company." She lightly traced a well manicured fingernail along his bicep, her eyes seductive. "I would prefer if we take this outside. I can't stand the heat here."

To further emphasize her point, she fanned herself with one hand while pulling the collar of her blouse with another to reveal more cleavage to him. Sending him a wink, she spun around and walked towards the exit, taking her sweet time to swing her luscious hips to his appreciative eyes. The man quickly sprinted after her and caught up with her as soon as she exited. Taking her wrist in a firm but gentle grip, he dragged her towards a dark alley way.

She grinned as she could feel the need emanating from him. Before her thoughts could go any further, she found herself slammed gently against the wall in the alley. She opened her mouth to protest but was quickly silenced by his own. A deep moan rumbled from within her as his tongue sought hers. She had a lot of one night stands in the past but nothing compared to this. Making out in the open. This was so risky and yet so naughty. She squealed as she felt his hand trace upwards along her hips and then into her shirt. He was definitely good with his fingers.

The impromptu couple broke out for air. But just as soon as he gave her space, he was back to it again. This time he sank his lips to her neck, giving her soft nibbles that nearly sent her on edge. Soft sighs and moans escaped her lips as she shut her eyes tight, enjoying the erotic attention of this strange yet hot fellow. Her moans increased when she felt his mouth kiss in between her cleavage. He paused momentarily to lick the spot and blew hot breeze there. She held his head tight. He was driving her crazy.

Feeling the need to turn the tables, she quickly pushed him back. His look of surprise changed to bliss when they switched positions and he found himself against the wall and her lips now to his neck. She grinned as she detected the goose bumps on the nape of his neck. Then all of a sudden, it went downhill from there.

Lost in the throes of passion, she suddenly detected the flow of blood within his neck and her appearance changed. If his eyes wasn't shut in pleasure, he would have seen her irises turn red and her canines elongated. A new kind of lust overwhelmed her. The lust for blood.

She quickly snapped back to reality before she could make a meal out of him and then jumped back. She spun around to avoid him seeing her gaze.

"Hey, what's going on?" He asked in confusion.

"I'm sorry." She whispered with her back turned to him. Her appearance was back to normal but she still didn't look at him. "This was a mistake."

"But…" He began.

"I'm sorry." She whispered and ran off before he could say anything.

Walking out in the open, she shuddered and buttoned up her blouse fully. She noticed that the road was devoid of activities signaling how late the night was. She was the only one walking. As she turned around a corner, she leaned against a wall and sighed, trying to process all that happened.

"You disappoint me, little sister." A sudden chilly voice called out from the darkness by her right.

She rolled her eyes and leaned away from the wall, facing the direction from where the voice came.

Slow footsteps could be heard and then a man emerged into the light. His pale skin and brown eyes compared greatly to hers although his thin red lips contrasted to her thick ones. His long black hair was tied in a ponytail and he was dressed in black just like her although his attire was more old fashioned than hers, consisting of a long black coat with a bat insignia at the left side over loose pants with black boots.

"Dominic." She frowned.

"Hello, Dahlia." He grinned.

"What are you doing here?" Dahlia folded her arms, her scowl deepening. "I don't want to believe you were concerned enough to follow me here."

"On the contrary, dear sister." Dominic replied. "I came here on official business. However, I couldn't help but notice your pathetic display earlier. Letting a free meal waste like that? You put our family to shame."

"Dominic, I am not in the mood for your tirades right now." Dahlia sighed tiredly and walked past him.

"If you really want to go about your business." She paused without facing him. "Please do so and just let me be. At least for this night."

Dominic watched his sister walk off and shook his head. He then turned his attention to the opposite direction and walked off.

There were more important things to worry about.
