Shopping Spree
Our last class was kinda boring
The girls were all to excited about the party to pay any attention to what the poor woman
was saying
Lia was a bit nervous which I could totally understand while Val and Vina were both daydreaming about our trip to the mall and I was kinda in the middle about everything
I mean it wasn't really a big deal to me attending party was in my blood
Been a Anderson sure as it perks I can start listing all kind of party I have had to attend both willingly and not, so I knew I could handle myself well but the one person I was a bit worried about was.......
The school bell rang bringing me out of my thought
"Finally I thought the class would never end
I mean it all kept looking like gibberish to me
Time to shop bitches!"
"Would you at least let me leave the class before using that foul language Young Lady" Our teacher whose name I didn't get scolded Vina
"Sorry Miss Michael
Next time I will make sure you already in your office before saying such foul language ma" Vina said trying to look apologetic but I am sure even the teacher saw how fake and insincere it was

That will be all for today see you all in the next class"
she packed her books and angrily walked out of the class still angry with Vina
"Oh my God why did you do that V?
Lia asked
"Oh please give me a break will you
she is just 28 but she keeps acting so uptight like a cranky woman in her mid 40s
I think I know what she needs"
Vina said

Lia asked
"You just had to ask didn't you"
Val who looked like she already knew what Vina will say turned to Lia
"Simple an hardcore sex with a sexy all night machine gun to loosen her up" Vina said smiling

Look at how terrified she looks all thanks to you
Enough chitchat we have a long day ahead of us" Val said

Lia said mimicking spongebob as we all packed our books and left class
"You never got to tell me what leverage you have over David"
We got interrupted the other time by Mrs Michael
"True it happened last semester around June, me and him got paired together for a particular project I can't even remember what class that was but that aside
So one Saturday while we were studying at their house I saw......."
"Come on girls time for some makeover"
David once again interrupted Val from spilling the deeds
"Argh come on you got to be kidding me, Couldn't you have waited just 5 more minutes before talking
I mean this is second time this is happening"
I angry slammed the door as I got in the car
"What's up with her"
David asked Val as they both got in
"Let's just say it has something to do with a little folder"
Val bulked up her seat belt while I sent Daniel a text that I was stopping by the mall with some of my friends.
I looked up and realise that it was only David,Val and I that were in the car
"Where is Lia and Vina?
I asked
"They are right behind in Lia's car"
Val said
"You didn't bring your car to school today?"
I asked
"Yeah Vina and David sometimes pick me up in the morning
So I that way my younger sister get to use the car on eve in awhile
It was part of the deal that came with the car" She explained as we arrived at the mall
"Oh"
I said as David drove in
"Time to go"
Lia opened my door and dragged me out while Vina did the same thing to Val
"The tortuous journey begins"
David grumbled
"If you look at it from the bright side you will see that you are just preparing yourself for marriage so cheer up"
Vina replied as we all walked in
"Okay so where should we start from?"
Lia asked
"Just follow me lead I know we should all begin"
Val replied her and took us straight to my Mom store
"You got to be kidding me"
I said surprised as we all walked in
"Oh my God
I am so sorry for not asking but the product in this store are the best here but if you can't afford anything just tell us i am sure one of us will be able to help you out"
Val said with a sincere look on her face.
I couldn't help but burst into laughter, this was the second time this was happening to me
I know I felt insulted by the first person but now all I could feel was how true and honest these girls were
"Am I the only one getting goosebumps by the way she is laughing?"
Lia asked staring at with concern
"Sam is everything alright"
Vina asked me
"Yes everything is fine and trust me when I say I have no problem handling my own bills
I was just a bit surprised that you picked this particular store here.
You know the headquarters is in a Califonia and my mom and I used to go shopping together back then"
I didn't even realise how much I miss my mom until I was in her store
"Didn't your mom move here with you?
Val asked
"No it is just me and my brother that moved here
My parents couldn't leave but they promise to visit every ones in a while" I said
"Okay that's it enough girls time and can you all continue shopping please"
David who I have totally forgotten was with us finally spoke and we all got back to shopping.
After spending close to 45mins in the store we all paid and as we were all walking out my phone rang.
I picked it out of my bag and saw it was my mom calling
"Can you please give me 2mins I really need to answer this call"
I told the gang and left
"Hi mommy"
I said as I picked up the call
"Hope everything is good over there" I could sense the worry in her voice
"Yes mommy everything is going great am even at the mall at the moment with a couple of friends"
"That is even why I am calling
My secretary just forward a credit alert that as your name on it
Why did you pay for something at my very own store?
She asked me surprised
"Oh my God I didn't know
I just got a bit carried away it must have skipped my mind
You can ask Mary to refund it right?
Thank you mom
Got to go
Love you"
I quickly hung the call
How the hell would I have forgotten about that?
Thank God my mommy believed what I told her
There was no where I could have not paid without them getting suspicious.
I thought to myself as I walked back to meet them
"Is everything Good?
Lia asked
"Yes my mom was just calling to check up on me
I guess she could sense how much I was missing her, you know how mothers get"
I replied
"Since that is settled let's keeping the party rocking shall we"
Val said and walked us all into another shop
We ended up visiting 4 more stores we all got the cloth we were going to wear at Adam's party and ended up getting more stuff
I thought I hated shopping till I meet David, damn that boy just kept on complaining throughout the whole ride and shockingly enough I actually had a great time.
I guess the reason i thought I hated shopping was because of my history with shopping back at Califonia.
We all decided to end the day with ice cream and ended up at Tomy Tasties
Vina's favourite spot for ice cream and I got to say it is actually really good
We ate in silence exhausted from the shopping
"So Sam do you need a ride home?" Lia asked
"Maybe another time I have already messaged my brother"
"We would love to stay to meet your brother but we really got to go
My mom just messaged me
Bye Lia
Bye Sam "
Vina said as with David, and Val also packing up, then they all stood up and left
Leaving just Mia and I, after they left Mia kept looking at her phone every minute as if she was expecting a call.
"If you also have something to do at home you can also leave
You can all meet my brother another time"
I said since it kind of seemed like she also needed to leave
"Do you mean that?"
She asked me looking very relived
"Yes I do
Now go" I told her
"Thanks a lot my sister just messaged me that my Mom and Dad are going out for an event it kinda of an impromptu thing but I have to be the one to babysit my siblings.
I hope you had a nice time hanging out with us cos we sure did"
Lia packed her bags and also left
I was relieved that I wouldn't have to lie to them that Daniel was my brother so maybe this was God's way of protecting my secret who knows?.
