She tried moving away at a slow pace so that he didn't notice it but not soon did he place his hand which was on her neck behind her waist circling and trapping her in his small cage.
"Would you offer me?" he asked deviously, a hint of sarcasm relying on his question.
"Do vampires really consume blood like we humans consume water?" She asked out of curiosity. Astrel's laugh reverberated the whole room bringing a chill run down her spine. He could not believe she was asking something silly as this.
"Of course, we do. What else do you think would quench our thirst?" He saw her doe-like brown eyes widening, "What happened to your child-like excitements? Are perhaps afraid of me, little kitty?" He asked, leaning forward to her with his eyebrows raised.
Their nose tips were a thread line apart. Vilian shook her head, amusing Astrel, but he masked his expressions. A few minutes before she looked like she would have fainted any minute but not now, for she was acting all fierce. It was pretty obvious that the girl was masking her expression but wasn't successful enough. One would think she might be brave enough by the looks. If not for her heart beating at a fast pace a vampire would not have been able to pick the fear she was trying hard to mask with her fierceness. Bringing used to the experiences Astrel picked up her acting, but played along with her as if he never got a realization of it.
Running his tongue over his sharp fangs which were now back to the normal size he spoke, " I got to quench my thirst from a human blood." An evil smirk tugged on his lips. Vilian immediately took a glance at his fangs and then looked straight into his eyes. Her breath hitched at the sight of his deep blue eyes, "But... Not now."
"Not now?" She questioned in relief, a small smile gracing her lips which were barely visible.
"Do you me to?" he questioned her question.
"N-no, no!" she stuttered avoiding his gaze. It bought an amused smile to his face. It was visible, she was fidgeting under his gaze, and he found it to be endearing.
Astrel had meant only to tease and test her, but never expected her to amuse him with her scared, but fierce behaviors. A knock came from the door, startling her and interrupting him from his gaze on her.
"Vilian, dear?" came the voice of Falcon from the other side of the door following with knocks.
"Uhh... Yes, unc- Mr. Falcon, "she replied, still in the same position pinned on the wall. Vilian felt like getting choked under his intense gaze. She tried to push him away instead and got more pinned down by him. Astrel wiggled his eyebrows with a smirk playing on his lips.
"Have you had your breakfast, dear?" asked the butler dearly.
Vilian pleaded through her eyes to let her go and whispered, "Please, let me go," glancing at the door and then at Astrel.
"What if I don't?"
"Please... I'll do anything. Let me go," she whispered in the thought of getting rid of the devil, but little did she know that she was stepping unknowingly into the very trap of the rapturing devil in return for getting rid of the embarrassment.
Not getting a reply from the girl Falcon questioned again, "Vilian, dear? Are you alright?" She heard the concerned voice of Falcon.
"Yes! I mean, give me a minute," she voiced out in a hurry looking straight at the devil in front of her.
"Be careful on you're promising that you'll do anything. It might end up to no good, little kitty."
"Please..." she pleaded. A pout formed on her lips unknown to herself making Astrel glance at her plumpy tempting pink lips. A kissable sight.
"Remember you owe me, little kitty," he came forward, next to her ear, and whispered, leaving a trace of his lips on her earlobe, and just like that, in a blink of an eye vanished into thin air, bemusing Vilian who didn't expect this coming her way.
"What just happened?" she questioned herself touching her earlobes which felt ticklish and hot. She waved her hand in front of her face not being able to believe anything. Shaking off her head she went to open the door but took a deep breath calming herself before, and saw a worried butler standing in front of her.
"Are you sure you're alright, dear? Your cheeks have turned flush. Were you out on the patio for a long time?"
"Calm down, uncle Falcon. It's nothing, I'm alright," she said giving him a polite smile, "Why don't you come in?" she asked. Just as she asked, he entered the room.
"I assume that you've had an ample amount of food this morning. Was it to your liking, dear?" he asked, observing the room and seeing everything was ok except for the table, which was untidy.
"It was more than enough and I love it," she said. Remembering the way she had the breakfast made her eyes go wide and a tint of pink hue formed on her cheeks.
"I see... It seems so. I'll inform the maids to clean the table. Feel free to ask what you want, dear."
"Can I get a phone call?"
"Huh?"
"Uhmm... I don't have my phone right now. Mind if I can borrow your phone for a phone call, please?" she asked.
"Yeah, sure thing, my dear," said Falcon and took out a small phone from his shirt pocket and gave it to Vilian, "Uhh.. You can only take calls in it," he said hesitatingly. The phone he had was an old and less expensive one. He loved life with simplicity. Though he was getting paid more decently than any other butlers, he never was shy to live a very simple life but he was hesitating to lend his old phone to her. After all the girl was from a higher class.
"Oh no, that's fine. I just need to take a phone call to my friend Mia and let her know about my whereabouts. And... Uncle Falcon?" She called him out and he raised his head to look at the girl.
"Please don't feel ashamed of what you have. It is always best that one should be more than grateful for what they have," she said understandingly the reason for his hesitation.
"You're such a sweet girl, my dear. Well raised. Your mother must be proud of you," he said placing his hand over her head. He was an inch or two taller than Vilian with salt and pepper hair, indicating the man aging old. Vilian gave a crooked smile and sighed and questioned,
"You think so, uncle Falcon?"
"Well, why not?" he smiled at her and patted her head. Vilian started dialing her friend Mia and excused herself. Falcon bowed his head in respect and saw her walking towards the patio. He left the room in search of the maids to inform them regarding the cleanings.
Sliding the glass door aside Vilian walked out to the patio, waiting for the receiver to answer the call, but there was no sign of Mia picking up her phone but she tried once more. After the third ring, the call got connected.
