Getting out of the car Mia took her backpack and walked to her home stepping on the stairs. Not a minute passed by the door was opened by the butler welcoming her in. She nodded her head and walked to her room with an exhausted face.
Ms. Caster, Mia's mother came running behind Mia calling her out. Mia stopped before her door and turned to her mother with a tired look.
"Dear, where have you been? I've been trying to reach your phone for god knows how long. Didn't you say you were going to Vilian's home?"
"Ahh... Yes, mother, but she wasn't at home so I hang out with Clara," She said lying to her mother.
"Is it Clara or that crazy boy... what was his name again?"
"Ma... It's Calder again!"
"Uff whatever... I've been warning for your own good, dear. He's not a good person to hang out with,"
"Ma! I said you it was, Clara and not him... Besides Zen is with me. He knows well to handle if anything happens. Have you started to lose your faith in him?" dragged Mia, Zen in the conversation, knowing her mother had a soft spot and trusted him more than her very own daughter.
"No!" sighing out Ms. Caster gave up arguing with her daughter. "Come down for dinner after getting freshened up. You smell of the sea," she said having a slight idea of where her daughter might have been this long.
"Ok, mom," said Mia and entered her room shut it close, and sighed out loud.
Running to her bed she was about to jump on it but saw the bed was already occupied by someone's presence. With panic and a quick thumping heart, she took the vase readying herself to whack the person who dared to sleep on her bed.
"I wouldn't be doing that if I were you," came the voice a little away from where she was, snapping her focus from the person on her bed.
"Aster?!" came the confused and surprised voice of hers. "What are you doing here and who is this?" she questioned pointing to the person on the bed with the swan neck vase.
No response came from the man. Mia gave a suspicious look and turned to look at the person. With a skittish move, she took off the blanket and got a view of a blonde hair girl.
Gasping out in panic Mia ran to the other side and checked out her bestie who was now sleeping peacefully.
"Why has she got a bruise on her face?" she questioned continuing to check any other bruises.
Placing a new cigarette on his thin lips he lit it with a lighter. Slipping it back into his trouser pocket he walked to the balcony.
"Could you not smoke? Mom's gonna get a sniff of it," said Mia annoyingly.
Astrel gave a knowing look, "She entered the forbidden library," he said calmly, blowing the smoke out.
"Eh... It isn't unusual for her to- What?! Do you mean the one which Uncle Douglas warned us about?" She questioned.
Astrel hummed and glanced at the sleeping figure. She was frowning in her sleep. 'Looks like she's experiencing a nightmare' thought Astrel.
"I'll leave her in your care. Take her to her home the very next morning. Demus will be coming back to Frost tomorrow before dusk," he said putting down the cigarette and stomping it with his shoe.
He turned to leave but then stopped, "And... Don't question her about the incidents," he said giving a last glance at Vilian before he left.
"Wait! Did you–" '...erase her memories?' she mumbled the latter to herself for he already left her with the words hanging on the tip of her tongue.
Sighing she tucked Vilian into her blanket and went to take a hot shower to drain her exhaustion.
Stirring up from the daylight which was peeking through the still closed curtains Vilian stretched her hands with a smile gracing her face but then heard someone moan next to her.
She turned alert and checked herself all dressed up well. Taking a squishy pillow in her hand as her defense she prepared herself to hit with it though it would cause no harm and slowly but not causing any sort of noise she took the blanket off the stranger's face.
"Huh?!" Exclaimed Vilian. She was confused looking at the person who was sleeping drooling all over her pillow with a goofy smile.
"Mia? What is she– what am I doing with– Mia! Mia! Wake up!" She tried waking her up all confused about how she was in her friend's house when she was supposed to be in Astrel's.
"Uhh... Lemme saaaleeep..." Murmured Mia, still in her sleepy state. Vilian draped the curtain open. She looked down at herself and gasped at herself.
"What am I dressed in?!" She screamed.
"Wha... What? What happened? Are you alright? Where's Thor?"
"Thor? Back to earth Mia... Why and whose dress am I wearing?"
"Do you even have to ask it? Uhh lemme sleep," groaned and whined Mia.
"Jeez!! You ruined my kiss with Thor! Aww, you should have seen how handsome he was at our wedding with the most amazing tuxedo and that black shirt exposing his sexy abs and I was walking down the aisle in a white gown toward him," she said dreamily hugging her pillow.
She started shedding crocodile tears and cursed Vilian, "Ahh!! Damn you, Vilian... Don't be the Villain of our love." Vilian rolled her eyes glancing at her overdramatic friend.
"For the love of God, Mia! For the love of God! Aren't you supposed to be dreaming of Calder and not some Marvel hero?"
"Com'on, Thor is my favorite Marvel superhero, and Calder... He's my Boyfriend. There's a lot of difference between them."
"Nevermind! That's not what I want to know."
"Hmm... And what do you want to know?"
"Mia! I don't remember getting dressed in these clothes. They look so–"
"Have you lost your mind, Vili? I gave this to you when you came to my room last night with that– with that... Ice Prince," blurted and half lied about the dresses when she actually didn't know anything about it. She swore to herself that she'd find out everything before Vilian could get an idea about it.
"Mia, do you think I'd buy your excuse? Ok, put the dress apart," said Vilian, giving up the topic for the time being, and walked towards Mia and sat beside her.
Before Mia could sigh out relief she bombed another question that she didn't know how to explain.
"Why am I here? Wasn't I in Astrel's mansion last night? Oh, speaking of last night I've got a lot to tell you but you have to answer me this first."
"You better tell me the incidents first, for me to explain what happened in–"
"Ms. Caster? Madam Caster has called you down for breakfast," came the voice behind the door, interrupting both the girls in the room.
Mia was in panic finding an excuse for her Friend's presence. Her family might also question both of them if they were to see Vilian.
