She saw Astrel looking past her. She looked behind her at the mirror only to gasp and fume looking at the reflection in the mirror.
"You pervert!!! What are you looking at?" she said trying to lower her bathrobe which barely reached her knee and hit him with the things that were nearby her.
"How could I miss the opportunity of seeing you?" He asked with a smirk. Hearing what he said made her cheeks turn red.
She took her dress that was lying on the bed and quickly made her way towards her small walk-in closet attached to her room, cursing him under her breath, and closed the door with a loud thud.
Earlier, when he was on the floor trying to sit upright he had glanced at the cheval mirror which stood behind Vilian facing her back. He was gazing anywhere but the tattoo on her nape glowing green. He frowned looking at it. That was when Vilian turned to glance behind.
From her angle, her thigh was the one that she saw and her eyes widened with shock. Astrel knew she had misunderstood him but he paid no heed to correct and instead enjoyed her reaction.
Seeing her fume brought out a chuckle from Astrel.
Opening the door slowly, Vilian put her head out and spotted the annoying devil already looking at her with his hypnotizing eyes. Just the look made shivers run down her spine, melting her.
She cleared her throat and walked out of the closet room with a straightened posture and at a point when she sat on her study chair a lot away from him, her eyes met his, where he had not stopped watching her and walked towards where she was and leaned on the wall next to her study.
"Afraid that I might gobble you, little kitty?" Astrel asked her with a wicked smile tugging on his lips.
Vilian's lips twitched, and she asked, "What do you want?" Was he here to get his shirt back?
"I could not waste the opportunity of seeing you playing with the water..." For a moment, Vilian didn't get what Astrel meant. Her face boiled when she did.
"You... Huh! Just... You get lost..." she gritted her teeth, finding it hard to form words as she pointed at him accusingly.
Astrel took hold of her index finger which was pointing at his chest and glanced as if he was searching for something. Vilian tried to retract away from his firm hold but he didn't let go.
"Something looks amiss, don't you think, kitty?" He said and then, a cold thing encircle her causing her to look down at her wrist. It was the bracelet that she kept so dear to herself. The gift she received from her mother.
Her fingers traced over the bracelet as she held it dear to her heart and looked up to question Astrel but he wasn't in front of her.
'Did he come to visit me just to give this?' she thought in her mind and kissed the bracelet.
"Where's the first-aid kit?" came the voice interrupting her from her cloud of thoughts.
"Are you hurt?"
Astrel passed a dull look at her, and Vilian pursed her lips as she said, "Lily might know."
"I don't see that chatty mouse here, or is it you that you were talking about?"
"Let me look for it," Vilian bit her lips as she uttered and she was about to look for the first-aid kit.
But when she stepped ahead the dress she wore rubbed over her scraped knee causing her to wince as she felt the wound on her knee sting. She glanced down only to see blood trickling down her leg.
She believed that Astrel didn't witness it. But as soon as she glanced at him she flushed in embarrassment. She didn't want him to misunderstand her, so she tried to form words but could not. With the dress that she was dressed in, her injured knee was not visible but only the blood that trickled down worsening her embarrassing situation as if she was bleeding for some other reason and not because of her wound.
She knew it was normal for one to misunderstand. She opened her mouth and closed it like a fish.
Astrel spoke before she could utter a word, "Your wound has re-opened," he said and she just nodded her head lightly, feeling relief that he had not thought of anything out of the box.
She was about to pull the front of her frock when she looked up only to meet Astrel's eyes.
She requested, "Could you look away, please?"
Instead of replying to her request, she saw him enter the ensuite ignoring her.
She looked down trying to pull up the frock above her knee but the inner layer had stuck to her wound and it stung the more she tried to take it away.
"With the way you're struggling with that little injury, you're never gonna succeed in what you're trynna do instead you'll successfully turn your hair grey."
As soon as she heard his voice she raised her head pulling her dress down but didn't let go of it.
Astrel stepped forward into the room with a bowl of water, "Played enough of your shy game, girl?" He asked as he placed the water bowl on the table and sat on her study chair.
Before she could process what he said he pulled her toward him until her back came to face him.
She was about to turn around when she heard a ripping sound and suddenly was turned around to face him.
Everything happened so fast that she was left in a gasping shock. The behind part of her dress had been ripped open, leaving it only with her frock's inner layer, and in front, the upper layer was hanging and so was her mouth.
"What a lovely place for the flies to live?" said Astrel glancing at her mouth.
Vilian shut her mouth with a glare as she came out of the shocking incident.
"What do you think you are doing?" she questioned furiously trying to get away from his clutch but he took hold of her bare leg causing her to widen her eyes and grip his shoulder tightly which he didn't mind.
"Tch!"
she heard Astrel click his tongue as he observed her injured knee and she questioned, "What is it?"
"First, you attempt to die breathing in the water, and now, your injured knee has been injured than it was already. I think there's something stuck in it-"
"What- Ahh!!" She tried to look down but moved her leg causing her to wince out loud.
"What a troublesome child you are? No wrong Demus loves that little one and not you," he said poking her.
"T-that's not right," She said stuttering with a low voice.
"Aha?" He said, poking her more than he should have. She said nothing but stared into his eyes which were now darker than usual.
"Aren't you affected by the sight of the blood?" she questioned as she tried her best to change the topic.
"More than you could imagine," he said as he looked into her eyes which were looking at him confusedly. 'So innocent' thought he and without a prior warning he pulled out the shiny thing with a swift moment and pressed his thumb on the wound for her to flinch and let out a low cry.
It was a small Tintex shoe nail. He dropped it beside the water bowl.
Blood started to trickle down from her wound, and the very next moment, something unexpected happened.
