"What have you bought me today?" questioned the lady, rubbing her hands together as her purple eyes flickered with interest.
Astrel dropped the steel finger on the small wooden table which was arranged with small bottles filled with colorful portions.
"You never fail to intrigue me, Aster," said the lady with a sinister smile as she took and observed it while Astrel lazily slumped and sat on the wooden rocking chair which was the only chair in the small and dark hut filled with magical sparks flying in the air.
"I need the samples of its poison and the details, witch. I'm pretty sure it's one of your sister's doings, so there's no saying that you could do it, am I clear?" He questioned as he looked at the fair freckled lady.
Leaning on the table, she crossed her hands over her chest, facing him, "And what do I get in return?"
"A hidden forest as per your wish, but you'll also have to prepare an antidote that might be used against the creatures," demanded Astrel. The witch's sparkled with delight. She had long wanted a hidden forest for herself and now that he had said it., she'd do anything in return knowing well the man in front of her was a tricky man but never broke his promise.
"Anything in return for the hidden forest," she said gleefully.
For a witch, she looked more carefree and friendly and that was one of the reasons why her sisters had abandoned her from the witchery circle.
She was too kind and questioned every move taken by the witches which irked the witches. The head of the witches who also was her very own mother had kicked her out of their crew with a low tolerance for being troublesome and not to say close to the vampires and other creatures causing havoc in their Witchery society.
Kenia had to survive by disguising like one of the lowly vampires living in one of the poorest villages, maintaining a very low profile.
She had gotten too accustomed to her neighbors with a good and friendly name, but it didn't last long for all her peace was turned to ashes by the encounter of a witch who happened to her cousin's sister by revealing her true identity by tagging along her cousin's doing as her doing with more accusations.
That resulted in the village bringing the witch Hunters after her. Kenia had to run for her life from villages to villages and forest to forest, but that didn't stop her sisters from causing a ruckus all her way ruining her life until one night she was caught by the dark pure-blooded vampire who was none other than Astrel.
Kenia had to come up with a deal just so she could survive and Astrel accepted her by allowing her to live in his blue mansion forest which wasn't far from the mansion.
The young witch was more than grateful for his help and felt forever in dept for the vampire. But there came a saying that nothing was free that was the same. She had to serve him whenever he was in need of he'd order her with a stack of witchery works.
As the sunstroke up high in the sky at the Oxshade, birds chirped beautifully heading to do their work. Vilian had light eye bags under her eyes as she could not take a wink of sleep last night and she had spent the whole night reading books.
Lily promised to accompany her the whole night but it resulted in her falling asleep on her bed in less than an hour. Vilian didn't bother to wake her instead tucked her into sheets and continued her reading with the coffee accompanying her.
Lily who woke up with a gasp was more than embarrassed and scolded herself for being so careless, falling asleep on Vilian's bed for she was her maid.
Hours passed by. It was Daniel's birthday. Vilian went the very moment the sun took a sneak peek at the sky to wish the little boy and returned the very next minute not wanting to get caught by anyone for she'd be the reason for her father's and stepmother's spoiled mood just like the last time.
Sitting in front of the dressing table Vilian was glaring at Lily who had pestered and insisted on styling her hair and make-over her just so she could irk the scumbag and make him regret all his life for losing such a rare flower like her lady.
"What's all these fusses? I've got no interest in any of these games," said Vilian glancing at Lily who braided the left front portion of Vilian's hair thinly and left the right front portion with open curled hair strands. Finally done with the half-up fairy hairstyle that she had dreamt to style on Vilian's hair she admired her handwork.
"Mi'lady, it's Young master Daniel's birthday today! He'd be more than happy to see you like a fairy princess."
Vilian rolled her eyes and said, "As if that was the reason you've overdone these. I'm gonna ignore that sandbag's existence so why the worry?"
"And make him regret what he had caused in the past," added Lily hooking a necklace that looked beautiful though it was simple.
Glancing at Vilian's reflection in the mirror she smiled and said, "Wait and see, that son of a donkey kneel down on his knees begging for forgiveness with much regret and you Mi'lady, will pay no heed and throw him away into the gutter sparing no glance."
"Ahh, Lily!!! You're the best," said Vilian pinching her cheeks and they turned red. "A sister like you is more than what I want." As Vilian said it, not a minute passed by the room door swung open.
"What about me Vili? Am I not your prince? Do you not want me?" came the small angry voice of Daniel who glared at Lily for grabbing her sweet sister's attention. He looked at her as if warning her to step aside from her sister and then he glanced back at Vilian, huffing and puffing with a cute pout forming on his lips.
"Awe... My knight in shining armor. How would I not want you? I'm nothing without you, my prince," said Vilian walking toward him and kneeling in front.
Daniel shook his head and looked away.
"Lily? I think my prince would not accept the present from her sister. I'm so sad. I even dressed nicely just so I could fit beside him as his only princess. Seems like it's of no use," She said acting disappointedly as she sat on the floor lowering her head.
"Worry not, Mi'lady. I am more than willing to accept the gift if the young master does not want it," said Lily taunting the little boy.
Speaking of the present pique the little boy but pretended as if he did care about nothing they said. Daniel darted his eyes from the corner slowly. He saw Vilian bringing a big blue box toward Lily to gift him what was his.
Eying the big box he immediately turned around and jumped up to snatch the box to himself.
