Scott couldn't help but think of the bad dream he had last night. An Alpha's nightmare is like a premonition, a warning of a danger coming. All he could remember was Diana's disappearance, and the rest turned into missing pieces.
He touched his lips, then instantly thought of his first kiss. Smiling as he closed his eyes, he remembered how Diana sweetly tasted, and how soft her lips were. For Scott, Diana is undeniably his one and only addiction he'll never get rid off.
The business meeting was done fifteen minutes ago and yet, he was still standing by the window. His entire world shifted to his Luna. He heard a knock on the door but he didn't bothered to look.
"Is there a second meeting? Why are you still here?", Reina asked.
Scott didn't answered and just stood like a statue. Reina rushed in and held on to his brother's arm and showed him her puppy eyes.
"Are you still angry? I'm sorry about last time brother", Reina said. "I even cut off my salary to finish the projects as early this weekend", pouting her lips.
"Quit it", Scott said pushing her away. Reina accepted it as truce, and smiled.
"Okay, thanks! So, what's your plan on your birthday tomorrow? Because if there's none, I have!", Reina exclaimed as she have always planned for the Devlins' occasions.
"I have plans.", Scott shrugged her off as he walk towards the door.
"That's what you always say, when you don't have any!", Following Scott right behind him. "Last year, was at the night club. Then two years back was in the hotel.. way back from that, was in the island… let me see.. why don't we have it at the mansion? By the lake?" Reina said as she clung to Scott's arm.
Scott just looked at her and blinked a few times. He just wanted to spend the day with Diana.
"Yea?! Okay, great!! I'll prepare everything!! See yah!", Reina ran off as she took her phone making some calls.
"Weirdo", Scott said as he check his phone seeing several missed calls and messages from Cory.

Diana was in her office with Dr. Blackwell waiting to heal, and Cory who's sleeping on the couch.
"How do we explain about a missing doctor who turned to ash, Dr. Blackwell?", she asked.
"I got that Diana, do not worry", Dr. Blackwell smiled as he comfortably sat on the chair waiting for his body to recuperate from the brawl earlier. "It seemed like you're not surprised to see me change", he added.
"I didn't know you are wolf, but I've seen a person transformed to one. So I'm not a bit surprised", she said as she stared at Cory. "Is he your friend?", she asked.
Cory suddenly get up and looked at Diana. "Sorry Luna, I'm Cory. Alpha sent me to protect you ", Cory winked and get back pretending to sleep.
Diana chuckled softly.
"Alpha eh.. Thanks, boy. If you didn't come on time, I would be six feet under the ground now he he he", Dr. Blackwell laughed, wincing on the pain on his rib. Cory kept his eyes closed, and lifted a thumbs up.
"Dr. Blackwell, how well do you know my parents?", she asked.
"Your father was my colleague and a friend. He's one of the pioneers of this hospital before he moved back to our small town.", he answered.
"Why can't I transform to a wolf? Why do I not smell like a wolf?", Diana anxiously asked as she leaned forward.
"That I don't really know, Diana. I also wondered about that myself. When you were little, you did smell like one. But then, when I saw you and your mother again, there's no ounce of wolfness on either of you", Cory peeked on Dr. Blackwell as he narrate his side of the story about Diana.
"I remember Daniel saying, he doesn't want to live a life being a wolf. He even abandoned the pack to live a normal life as a doctor. He's an Alpha, you know? We were young then. He even had a girlfriend, but when he imprinted to your mother, who's also an Alpha, he had no choice but choose his destiny. We decided to build this hospital in the city, then years after, your parents moved back to our small town. I never saw you then, until you're in med school" He added.
"My mother, what is she like?", she asked.
"Alva? Back then, she's a very sweet and loving woman who's simple and always smiling. Daniel would always hurry home with a bunch of red roses for her.", Dr. Blackwell smiled as he remember the good memories with Alva.
"I'm actually surprised seeing her again. She changed drastically. Her taste in fashion and food preference were too extra. She's allergic to flowers, she became hostile and ill-tempered. She even asked me not to mention anything about wolves, for your sake", he clicked his tongue and furrowed his brows. "And one more thing, she's fond of Calvin. I hope you know he's a vampire", his hardened, showing how he hates vampires.
"It's probably because of Daniel's death. She had to go through a lot to raise you alone", he continued. "But I can never understand her fondess to a vampire"., he curved his lips down rubbing his rib.
"So who's the Alpha, huh?", he asked as he glanced at Cory kicking him to wake up. Cory just continued to pretend to be asleep. Diana just smiled at the two.
Diana thought that something might have happened to her and her mother back in the small town making her forget some of her memories, affecting her mother's behavior and suppressing their wolfness.
Cory said Scott won't be able to pick her up considering something came up. He insisted to accompany her home instead, however Diana refused. She took a cab and went home at around 7 in the evening. On her way up, she saw a couple of men kissing inside the elevator. The other guy embarassingly went out, as she went in.
Diana remained calm as she pressed the 21st floor, while the other guy get flushed as he started fidgeting after getting caught in a cumbersome circumstance.
"Are you new here?", the guy asked breaking the ice.
"Yes", clearing her throat.
"He's uhh.. I'm uhh..", scratched his head as he tried to explain his affair.
"I don't mind really. I won't judge you with your sexual orientation.", she smiled and winked at her neighbor. The guy smiled back in her friendliness.
"Are you a doctor?", taking a peek on her white coat.
"Yes, are you?", she looked at him intently.
"No, but I wished", he smiled.
"It's never too late", Diana smiled back at her cute neighbor who look so red like a tomato.
"I'm Sebastian", he offerred his hand for a handshake.
"Diana ", she shook his warm hand. The elevator opened and he said, "This is where I go, see you around?".
"Definitely, Sebastian", she nodded as the elevator closes.
