Oriana’s POV
Robin and I looked at each other longer than we had to. I cleared my throat, fighting that heat that reignited inside of me when I looked at him. I didn’t even know him, but I really wanted to. His presence did something to me and as the sun got lower in the sky behind him, it bathed him in this orange illumination.
I tore my gaze away from his, tucking my hair behind my ear, “Anyways, thanks. See you around, Robin.” I brushed past him, not even touching him, but he was so close to me.
Suddenly, his arm shot out in front of me, pressing against a pillar on the porch. “Wait, Olivia.”
Slowly, I turned around, tentatively looking up at him. “Yeah, Robin?”
