Chapter 15: Control

Robin’s POV

Olivia was staring Robin down. “Why not? Scared?” she asked, those full lips of hers pulling into a sideways smile. Her bright blue eyes appeared darker in this setting as they slid down the column of his neck. It might as well have been her tongue. It was just as heated.

Robin couldn’t speak. His throat felt dry. She called his bluff. Challenged him. He had to bite back a whine. Did she know what she was doing to him? Her playful eyes jumped back up to meet his. He could smell that sweet scent of arousal clinging to her.

“If you change your mind, I’ll be waiting for you on the dance floor,” Olivia challenged, turning around and walking away so Robin could drink in her backless dress. The silky dress fell just above the knee, but the slit on one of the sides showed off her toned thighs.

“Damn. If you don’t dance with her. I will,” Edgar said, appearing from the crowd with a drink in hand.

That voice inside growled. “Keep your hands off of her.”
