Chapter 27: Catching Up

Robin’s POV

Once the Romano’s left, taking their flytrap stink with them, Wyatt turned to Robin. “Sit down.”

“I don’t want to sit down, Wyatt,” Robin objected as he sat down anyways. Wyatt walked around him to a cabinet, pulling out a first aid kit. He didn’t say a word as he gathered a rag, dousing it in some fresh water.

“Clean yourself up,” Wyatt ordered, tossing Robin the saturated rag.

Robin caught it and wiped the blood off the side of his neck. The wound had already healed, leaving only the shadow of a bite mark. It wasn’t the first time he had been wounded in a gruesome battle, but it was the first time that he couldn’t fight back.

“What happened?” his Alpha asked, pouring two glasses of the good stuff from his decanter. Wyatt’s demeanor was always cool and collected. Level-headed and exactly what a pack of rambunctious and neurotic shifters needed in a leader.
