Chapter 48: An Olive Branch

Oriana’s POV

I took the stage, twelve-string in hand, a mind full of lyrics. My pulse buzzed, awaiting the rush that I gained from performing. It was almost comical looking at the table of vampires and shifters sitting together to support me.

Claude sat at the bar away from them, but he wanted to be there for me. I appreciated it. And Tio and I were working on finding him a new apartment. It was almost like all this shit between us never happened. I felt just as comfortable with him now as I had before everything. Our relationship only seemed to get stronger. The shifters were taking a liking to him.

In fact, he was the only pureblood that Wyatt allowed on his land, which shocked everyone but Claude had a way of growing on people like a tumor.

My Tio had a belligerent mouth, but if there were anything shifters respected, it was a loud mouth with little filter. Still rocky whenever Robin was concerned, but I noticed how they were both trying for my sake.
