An NPC's Reality

        We kept running until Ray ducked into an alley and we all stopped to catch our breath, confused as to what the hell just happened.


	“Who was that? I’m assuming you’ve met before.” Ray said once we were all breathing normally again.


	“That was Ava, the punk rock girl. We’ve passed by her a few times and she loves to tell us off or else there would be consequences.” I answered.


	“Pretty sure she hates us and thinks we should just go back home and forget everything we’ve been through. As if we didn’t try that already. This is all we have now. The truth.” Matt said.


	“Well, we should try to get somewhere safe. I’m sure you want to know what she was whispering in my ear.” Ray said, looking around on the sidewalk.


	“If it’s important.” Grayson said.


	“Of course, and it’s clear so we should keep walking. Find an empty building before we go find the club.” She said and we began walking.


	We quietly walked down the street, surveying the surrounding buildings.
