When three best friends, Ben Drewer, Matt Benders, and Grayson Engle discover that their world is a video game, they go on a search for truth and meaning. They stick together through every challenge and opponent that tries to stop them. Through using newfound powers to find portals, deciphering clues, and speaking to the creator herself, they must grapple with an unknown future and the potential to lose everything they love. An NPC's Reality

        “We could try the door we came in but I have a feeling it’s not going to open and lead to a hallway like a normal door would.” I answered.


	“We might as well try it and know for sure.” Grayson said.


	“You want to do the honors, Ben?” Matt asked me.


	“Sure. Can one of you hold onto me just in case?” I asked.


	They both nodded and Grayson gripped onto my sides as I gripped the doorknob and pulled it open. As soon as I did, I noticed that the whole doorway had been bricked up. Once we all stopped bracing ourselves, we laughed.


	“Well, that was kind of anticlimactic. I was expecting a hurricane or someone waiting outside.” Grayson said, releasing his hands. 


	“Me too. But now we know we definitely can’t go back out that way. So, what now?” I asked as we all sat back down on the computer chairs.


	“How did you guys find me? Maybe that’s the answer.” Matt asked us.
