Chapter 50: A Perfect Day

After spending the night with Romeo and my parents in San Francisco, I wanted to relive our perfect day routine one more time before the portals were removed and Narin’s presence leaves.

Bright and early in the morning, I turned over in my bed and woke up Romeo.

“Wakey wakey. It’s a new day.” I said gently as he stretched, yawned, and then opened his eyes to look at me and process what I said.

“G’morning. It is, indeed. You seem happy about that.” He told me as I attempted to avoid his morning breath.

“I am, I have a great idea for today. Wanna hear it?” I asked as we both began stretching and sitting up.

“Sure. Go for it.” He said.

“I want to bring you along on our perfect San Francisco day. We do what the guys and I have been doing for years for one more time until we truly go on our own paths.” I said as I got out of bed excitedly.

“That sounds like a wonderful plan. What does it start with?” He asked me as he still sat in bed.
