Chapter 4: Demon Lords 【Re-edited】

Before Eon became an adventurer, he stumbled upon a location known as the library. Enthralled by its vast wealth of knowledge, he found it to be a captivating place due to the abundance of information it held.

Initially, he began reading about the history surrounding interactions between humans and monsters. During this time, he came across a particularly dusty book with the title, "Ten Great Demon Lords."

Fascinated by the imposing title, he sought out a quiet corner within the library and deactivated his acceleration skills, allowing himself to immerse in the reading experience fully.

As he opened the book to its initial page, the heading at the top of the chapter caught his attention: "First Generation."

The chapter unveiled the existence of three founders at the heart of this narrative, with the first among them being named Guy Crimson. He also held the title of the Lord of Darkness. Although limited information is available about him, Guy Crimson is reputed to be the mightiest among the demon lords. He is said to reside in the Ice Continent, sharing this domain with Velzard, the Ice Dragon.

Furthermore, Guy Crimson is recognized as the most passive and least engaged member among the Ten Great Demon Lords. Nevertheless, there have been instances when he chooses to intercede in human matters.

The second founder among the Demon Lords is identified as Milim Nava, renowned by the moniker, the Destroyer. Despite the scarcity of information available, one notable event in Milim Nava's history was a prolonged confrontation with Guy Crimson that spanned seven days and nights. This battle led to the complete annihilation of an entire continent.

Milim Nava's power is rumored to be closely on par with Guy Crimson's, a result of their cataclysmic battle that showcased their destructive capabilities.

Finally, the third and last founder of the demon lords was a witness to the devastating clash between Guy and Milim. However, the third founder of the Demon Lords wasn't merely a witness to the destructive clash between Guy and Milim. In fact, she actively intervened alongside Guy to put an end to Milim's rampage.

Following the conclusion of that intense battle, Ramiris, the Fairy Queen, fell from grace and became a demon lord alongside the other two powerhouses, Guy Crimson and Milim Nava.

Eon took a moment to absorb and process the information he had just read. To absorb and process the information, Eon closed his eyes and visualized the overwhelming destructive might held by Guy Crimson and Milim Nava. He contemplated the full scope of their capabilities, reflecting on the details he had just absorbed from the book.

Having spent a few minutes pondering their abilities and appearances, Eon opened his eyes and returned his attention to the book. This time, he focused on the chapter heading at the top of the page, which now read "Second Generation."

Within the ranks of the second generation, one prominent figure is a giant named Dagruel, known by the epithet, the Earthquake. A lesser-known legend surrounds Dagruel, suggesting that he engaged in a battle against Veldanava, the creator of the world and universes. His territory was also the location where Guy Crimson and Milim Nava had their destructive battle.

The fifth member is the Queen of Nightmares, Luminous Valentine. Despite being mistaken for a man, Luminous Valentine is actually a woman created by Twilight Valentine. The reason for her hidden identity remains unknown, but she and Dagruel have a history of animosity between them.

The next one is the Sleeping Ruler, known by the name Dino. Very little is known about him, and information regarding his background is even less known than that of Guy Crimson. However, he appeared suddenly in the demon lord council, suggesting that the demon lords must have acknowledged his immense power for him to be accepted among their ranks.

The final member was the Curse Lord, named Kazaream. Unfortunately, Kazaream's reign came to an end when he was killed by the Platinum Devil, Leon Cromwell. Interestingly, Leon Cromwell used to be a hero, but he suddenly declared himself a demon lord, which prompted Kazaream to challenge him. It was during this confrontation that Leon's power and resolve were acknowledged by the demon lords, solidifying his position as one of them.

As Eon turned the page, he found himself delving into the "Third Generation" of demon lords. The tales of these powerful beings continued to unfold before him, offering glimpses into their origins, abilities, and the impact they had on the world.

Following the demise of Kazaream at the hands of Leon, his subordinate named Clayman swiftly ascended to the position of a demon lord shortly after that happened. He is known by the title of the Marionette Master.

The final two demon lords are the Beast King, Carrion, and the Harpy Queen, Frey. They each govern their own distinct kingdoms. Carrion's realm is located to the south of the Great Jura Forest, and Frey's dominion lies nearby, also situated to the south of the forest, in close proximity to Carrion's territory.

Those three are considered to be the least powerful among the generations. They are also the most actively engaged among all the demon lords, and among the three, Clayman is the most actively involved in human affairs.

Having concluded his reading, Eon paid special attention to the demon lord named Clayman, intrigued by his title of "Marionette Master," which seemed to suggest a manipulation-based skill.

Rising from his seat, Eon activated Gluttonous King on every book he found noteworthy, including the one he had just finished reading, absorbing a wealth of information about the world's history.

Returning to the present moment after incapacitating the masked individual, Eon's mind drifted to the small goblin village he had stumbled upon a few days earlier. Curiosity gnawed at him, prompting him to wonder if anything had changed since then.

Pausing for a brief moment, Eon retrieved the arch demon from his stomach, his gaze fixed on the trembling entity before him.

His gaze held on the demon for only a second, and yet that fleeting look was enough to prompt the trembling creature to scramble onto all fours, its voice trembling as it desperately pleaded, "I... Please don't kill me!"

Despite the incongruity of its pleading voice, Eon's focus remained on the demon as he inquired, "What did you gain from your evolution?"

Upon hearing the question, he swiftly responded, "I gained a unique skill after my evolution... That's all, I swear!"

Eon nodded in acknowledgment, as he proceeded to say, "I will bestow upon you a name." Before the arch demon could respond, his hand moved gracefully above it, and with a tone of command, he declared, "Your name is now Amenonuhoko."

As he bestowed the name upon the evolving arch demon, a radiant yellow glow enveloped its form, accelerated by his powers. With an authoritative tone, he instructed, "You will encounter two of my subordinates; under their guidance, you shall undergo training."

Quickly sending Amenonuhoko within his stomach where Zegion and Apito resided, Eon began his journey towards the goblin village.
