Visitors [BEING REWRITTEN]

A month ago while Chimon was venturing the world, he obtained some skills of which were mostly extra skills.

Though he did obtain a unique skill from an otherworlder who thought they couldn't be touched.

(Flashback)

He was done killing a group of calamity monsters inside a castle and that was when he heard voices coming near him.

"Did you guys see me destroy those monsters! When it came and attacked me, it got disintegrated along with the others since they used magic." A young man said as he celebrated.

"Yeah yeah. We know your skill is pretty good but you do know you're not invincible if something stronger comes and attacks you." Said a young woman who seemed to be annoyed by the young man.

"What do you mean? My skill called [Counter] can easily deflect any physical and magical attacks pointed my way."

Hearing what the young man had said about his skill, Chimon stood up and started walking to the group.

With the group hearing gravel, they all brought up their weapons and looked in the direction of where the noise was coming from.

But seeing that it was another 'human', they all dropped their guards and went back to their laid-back demeanor.

"You scared us there, mate." said the young man.

Not saying anything, Chimon's hand went for his sword and when the group saw that, they also headed for their weapons.

'Is a monster coming?'

'Why is that dude getting ready to fight?'

With his sword unsheathed, he gripped the handle with more than enough strength to kill an a rank threat; so he blinked in front of the young man and decapitated him.

When he did that, the group took a couple seconds to register what had happened, but when they did registered what happened; they all started attacking the unknown man.

Ignoring the attacks that were coming towards him, he crouched down, brought out his hand, and used [Gluttony].

{You have acquired the skill: [Counter].}

Hearing that The Voice Of The World had confirmed the acquisition of the skill, the information on how to use [Counter] started.

[Counter (Active): Physical Counter: Can counter physical attacks headed their way dealing double damage. The downside is if someone has better physical strength than the User, the skill will fail. Magical Counter: Can counter magical attacks headed their way dealing double damage. The downside is if someone has better magical control than the User, the skill will fail. Full Counter: Can counter any attack headed their way dealing triple the damage. The downside is if someone is both physically and magically better than the User, the User will pass out for a month or immediately die. Weaker: If anybody weaker than the User attacks them with physical or magical means, one of the two skills will automatically activate dealing triple damage.]

Finally acknowledging the people attacking him, he looked at them as their faces turned dark seeing their attacks doing nothing.

They were all relatively strong for being humans, so he decided he wanted to make them all stronger by dominating their minds.

Using [Charm] to make sure they would listen to him and [Manipulator] to fully dominate their minds, he stood back up.

"Follow me, we're going to Ingrassia."

With all of them nodding their heads, they started walking with Chimon as he started picking up the speed.

Reaching just outside the entrance of Ingrassia, he stopped and made a ring which was a duplicate of the mask.

Walking to the entrance of Ingrassia, he showed his and the other adventurers ID card to the guard and immediately got let through.

Of course, the guard was pretty surprised seeing an S rank adventurer since people who had that were really strong. It was also because the guard had never seen or heard of Chimon, but the world was huge.

Even though he was a pretty high ranked adventurer, not a lot of people knew his name. The other reason people didn't know his name was because he had only done two A rank quests.

The first commission's description was: A large group of summoners have been suspected to soon summon greater demons. Investigate the area and see if the summoning has been successful. If the summoning has been successful, kill all the greater demons. A group of 5-7 A rank adventurers are recommended for this quest.

After finishing that quest and returning to the guild late at night, the person behind the counter had a shocked face since he did it all on his own. Noticing she wanted to say something to him, he questioned her about it and she had recommended him to another A rank quest which was significantly harder than the one he just did.

The second commission's description was: An arch demon has been spotted near a pretty resourceful town, and people have been reported missing as of late. Investigate the area and eliminate the arch demon at all costs, even if you or your party members die. A group of 10 incredibly skilled A rank adventurers are highly recommended for this quest.

With Chimon accepting the quest since it seemed pretty easy for him, he quickly found the arch demon and devoured its soul so it couldn't go back to the demon realm.

The same reaction was plastered on the girl behind the counter since this one was done in one day while the other one was done in two days.

The current ranking system is divided into four main categories in incremental order and of which are: Hazard, calamity, disaster, and catastrophe.

When he was fighting the arch demon, he noticed its rank was weaker than what it was given. Since the demon's magicule was capped and it being old, the amount of time it had to master and control magicules were the highest it had seen; apart from himself.

The ranks given to monsters were flawed because some monsters are more skilled in things while others are more intelligent. Take for example, intelligent monsters can learn human arts and have unique skills which could effect how one would survive if they met one in person.

Activating [Universal Sense] to see all of Ingrassia, he found two relatively strong humans.

The human who was closer to him was a male. They weren't strong physically, they were more strong mentally and spiritually. He was pretty interested in him.

The one who was further from him was a female. They were strong physically, mentally, and spiritually. He was also pretty interested in her.

Wanting to see if they would be able to sense him through [Universal Sense] while specifically focusing on them, they immediately brought up their guards.

They were on maximum alert and their senses were telling them danger was imminent, so they activated all their defensive skills, waiting for an incoming attack.

But no one came...

Showing a smile since they were vigilant at all times when they felt danger, he turned off [Universal Sense] and started heading to the guild.

While walking to the guild, he spotted four adventurers talking to each other and walked past them, ignoring their existence.

"Hey, I've never seen you guys before. Are you all new to the city?"

Stopping and looking at the person who started an unwanted conversation with him, he said nothing as the atmosphere turned awkward.

Well, awkward for the adventurers.

*Ahem!

"We're missing some of our members cause of some misunderstandings and we don't know where they are."

Noticing he forgot to introduce himself and his teammates, he says, "My name is Gisei and I'm the tank of our group. Kikyo and Kaban are supports while also being fraternal twins and Sango's the main damage dealer."

"So, are you guys interested in joining us?"

With Chimon not even needing to say anything, someone behind him says, "We don't have the time to join your little party. You'll slow us down if we do any quests. And we already have a capable leader right in front of you."

Hurt by the words coming from the cute blonde haired girl, Gisei says, "Then, your leader doesn't mind telling me his rank since you seem so confident in his ability to lead you guys."

With Chimon noticing the change in behavior, he raised an eyebrow and wondered why he changed so fast.

He had come across many humans who tried to sway him into going out with them since he looked rich, and when he declined, their faces had turned sour or angry.

Human emotions were weird.

Not having much of a reason to decline that, Chimon says as he showed them his adventurers ID card.

"If you really want to know, here you go."

When the four saw the golden S on the identification card presented to them, they were in awe since they just met an S ranked adventurer.

Then their awe turned into suspicion since they hadn't heard of his promotion, but it quickly went away since the golden S was made out of real gold.

Now that the four were able to open their mouths and get out of their stupor, they all yelled, "You're a real S rank adventurer?"

Pocketing his adventurers ID and nodding since there was no need to hide that he was powerful, he continued walking to the guild and entered.

It was lively and clean.

Walking up to the person behind the counter, Chimon says, "Do you have a quest which fits my rank?" as he showed her his adventurers ID.

Taking a few seconds to register the golden S on the card, she says, "I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait a few days or weeks to receive a quest that fits your rank."

(Three Days Later)

Walking into the guild for the first time in three days, he asked the same question and got an A rank quest.

The commission's description was: A calamity class threat has been spotted in an abandoned cemetery and the miasma surrounding the death paladin is killing the wildlife around the cemetery. Either kill the death paladin or seal it. A group of 10 highly skilled A rank adventurers are recommended for this quest.

Going to where the death paladin was spotted at, what he saw was a disaster class threat instead of a calamity class threat.

Standing a couple meters away from the death paladin and showing his presence since he was hidden. The death paladin unsheathed its sword and started running towards him two times the speed of sound.

Stopping the blade with the back of his left fist and bringing back his right hand to decimate the death paladin, he hears a notice from [Great Sage].

{The potential of the death paladin is beyond catastrophe}

Stopping the momentum of his punch, he looks at the death paladin in the eyes and says, "Your name is now Arakan and you shall be my direct subordinate."

a/n - Arakan means worthy one and/or hero.

Upon naming the death paladin, it started glowing yellow as its armor then changed into something different.

[work in progress down below]

Arakan's EP went to that of a low super awakened of 3,975,814, obtaining some resistances and some skills. And it seems he already has a Unique skill called [Sword king].

Taking his hand off the now different blade, the Death Emperor knelt down to say "I ask for your forgiveness."

Looking down at the Death Emperor, Chimon says "You don't need to ask for forgiveness. So follow me."

The Death Emperor, now having a height of 6ft 4, quickly adjusts to his new height.

(Present Time In Blumund)

"A city of monsters, home to a slime that bested the Orc Lord... Can this be true?" said a man with both concern and relief.

"What sort of relationship should we seek with them? Should we do so on the assumption that the slime is benevolent, or should we perceive him as a threat and attempt to eliminate him?" said a man with both brown and white hair.

Standing up he says "I suppose we should go meet him once. I will judge this Rimuru with my own two eyes."

Outside the Guild, Fuse says to the three adventurers "All right, let's move out. We're going to see this slime you three met."

(In Abyss)

|Rimuru's POV|

I wanted to create a full potion without the need for me to make it. I, of course, put all the work on Gabiru and Vesta.

It took sometime for them to make the potion and they had actually succeeded.

'I really didn't think he'd be able to make it. Now that it's done it's onto mass production.'

"If we sell this in Abyss it would be a good source of income. We first sell little piles at the start and when we get more influence, we sell to the big people."

After talking about what we'd do with the potions, me and Kaijin come out the cave and we see a huge typhoon.

I quickly fly over and see half of Rigurds face is blown off. I throw him a potion and see Milim stand over a knocked out person.

Milim then turns around and says "This guy thought he could mock us, so I taught him a lesson."

I scold Milim about attacking random people and after that we gather in a meeting room.

There's me, Benimaru, Shion, Rigurd, Milim and the one who punched Rigurd with some more people. "So, why did you guys come here?"

Phobio then says "You expect me to answer a slime? No- a lowly slime."

Taking the provocation, I say "First off, you're weaker than me by a long shot and second, I dont know this Demon Lord Carrion, but if you keep behaving like this, we could settle this right now. Third, I'm not even the highest ranking here. You would also be antagonizing the entire Great Forest of Jura and there are a lot of monsters here that can easily destroy you."

"That's some big talk. You, a lowly monster think you can talk like that to me. The person above you all must be stupid and weak for them to assign you as the second highest ranking."

Benimaru and Shion began releasing their killing intent with both of them being one step away from making the guy into little pieces.

Before that could happen though, I quickly stopped them from doing so.

I was also slightly aggravated because Chimon isn't a dictator and doesn't abuse his power.

With Milim about to punch Phobio, I also had to quickly stop her.

Even though the killing intent was small, Phobio and his group almost had a heart attack from the high magicules.

"The one you just mocked owns 30% of the forest, and if you keep doing this, I'm afraid we may have to declare war on this Carrion."

"Tsk, Lord Carrion ordered me to come here and search for a mysterious majin to make them serve him."

Noticing Milim release some intent I look behind me, seeing her whistle.

"You guys can leave. If he wants to talk, he can choose a date and contact us."

Seeing him walk to the door, he opens it, stops, looks behind him, and says something I couldn't hear.

'Doesn't look like he's gonna relay this to Demon Lord Carrion.'

Standing up, I walk over to Milim and say "Now then, tell me all about Carrion."

Sticking her right hand out she says "I can't tell you. We made a promise not to interfere with each other."

I get closer to her, slightly kneeling down, I say "Is that promise only with Carrion? Or are there other Demon Lords, too?"

Seeing Milim's troubled face she mumbles "Uh... That's--"

"Hey, that's okay. Didn't Carrion already break that promise of sending his underlings here. Plus, we're besties, so we should help each other out, right? So I think it's a good idea for me to know about the other Demon lords. If I dont know what promise you made I might accidentally interfere without realizing it."

I then stood up and turned around "I know. I'll make you a weapon! I'm concerned for you as your bestie."

"A weapon? Yeah! Nothings more important than your bestie!"

After getting the information I wanted, I skimmed through it.

"Demon Lord Clayman, Carrion, Frey and you, Milim used Gelmud to have a puppet Demon Lord."

"It was just a way to kill time."

"Now that I've told you the secret. Give me the weapon that you promised me bestie!"

|End Of POV|

Somewhere in Jura, a team from Falmuth was sent, and leading it was a man named Youm. While they were walking they heard rustle.

"Boss-" said someone, with Youm quickly shushing the bald guy.

They all took out their weapons, waiting to see if a monster would come out. And instead of hearing monsters, they hear people arguing.

Youm, curious as to what it was, he uses [Farsight] and sees four people up agaisnt a Knight Spider.

"Seems like some people encountered a monster."

After saying that, the four people ran out and hid behind Youms group.

Youm then gave commands to his team, and looking at the four, he says "You guys are going to pay for getting us involved."

Getting ready to fight the Knight Spider, they hear someone yell out.

"Hey, Lavak! Is that you? Good to see you again." said a hobgoblin.

Lavak, looking to his left, getting happy he yells "Gobta!"

Gobta then says "Everytime I see you, you're fighting monsters. Do you like to fight that much?"

Going up to the Knight Spider, Gobta says "I'll handle this one."

Running at the Knight Spider Gobta yells "You're dinner for today!".

Picking up the Knight Spider's remains they head to Abyss.

With everybody outside waiting for the food to be ready Gobta yells "It's almost ready!"

Rimuru, in the same meeting place as before says "So, the kingdoms of Blumund and Falmuth have both come here to investigate this place."

Talking for around 5 minutes they hear the door open.

With two people walking in, the one who opened the door being Chimon and the second being someone they didn't know.

They wore full armor and it looks like they were pretty powerful.

(A Couple Minutes Ago)

After not finding monsters with useful skills, Chimon decided to bring Arakan to Abyss.

Arriving there, there was a feast going on with them eating a Knight Spider.

Going to where there were not that many people he heard Rimuru talk about the Orc Lord. He thought Souei relayed the information to Rimuru that he was the one that killed it.

And the false information was given to high ranking people not making it public.

Opening the door, Chimon says "You can use Arakan's name. Say that he killed it and you assisted in the fight. Before that happens though, he needs to have a good reputation to start off."

Communicating with Arakan, giving him the location of Ingrassia and a recommendation letter, he sends him off.

Receiving orders, Arakan went to Ingrassia soon to be known as a Champion.

The people who know Chimon are wondering if he cut short his exploration. They're also wondering who the full armored person was. They know their name but not who they were.

Rimuru, deciding if he'll use that, says "That's a good idea. We could do that, and when he becomes a Champion we'll say that I assisted in the fight."

Youm, hearing all this was pondered who killed the Orc Lord. "Hey, who killed the Orc Lord?"

"The one who killed it? It was him." saying that, Rimuru points at Chimon, making Youm question how strong he was.

After some more talking, everybody there decided to get some fresh air while Youm was deciding something in his mind.
