"You weren't scared?"
"Why would I be scared just because you spoke loudly?" Susu retorted.
"Fine." Huo Ting pursed his lips, then changed the question, "What are you doing here?"
"Keeping my beautiful nephew company."
"Ah, it's about your nephew again." Huo Ting had grown accustomed to hearing about Susu's nephews, "By the way, I bought you a gift."
"I don't want any gifts." Susu said.
"That won't do, I've already bought it for you!" Huo Ting declared commandingly.
Then, he ordered his bodyguards to bring over the gift he had purchased.
He took a large box from one of the bodyguards in front of Susu and opened it.
Inside was a pink diamond ring the size of a pigeon's egg.
"This is for you. It's pink and delicate, very suitable for you," Huo Ting said.
"No thanks, I don't want that," Susu shook her head in refusal.
"Why not? You accepted that cripple's bracelet! Why can't you accept my diamond?" Huo Ting became angry.
She accepted gifts from others, but not from him!
