Chapter 144 Flower valley

As I entered the orphanage, I saw Lilly playing games along with other children. When she saw me she came running towards me.

I got on my knees as I opened my arms to hug her. This child was so happy. She ran up to me excitedly and gave me a tight hug.

She in a while started sobbing. I took her in my arms and lifted her up.

"Don't cry Lilly. "

"Why didn't you come for this long. I... missed you so much. " she said in between her sobbing.

"I'm sorry, I was too busy at some work. Look I came to see you as soon as I got some time.

I said to her and she gave me a cutest smile ever.

"Ok then I won't cry. " she even wiped off her tears.

"So? Have you been studying good? Are you still a good girl? " I asked.

"Yes uncle. I'm am a good girl. I do my chores, homework and sleep on time. I even get A on all subjects. " she told me with a happiness in her face.

"Good girl" I patted her shoulder.
