chapter 8 : history of the world (3) the elves (3) : the first 3 branded

talking about the first three spirit branded , my father had a wide smile on his face, like a child talking about his favourite superheroes.

" 3400 years ago or so , 3 very unique children were born .

a human boy who was born with a mark in the shape of 2 crows with white eyes flapping their wings on the left and right sides of his chest, he had a frail looking body , silver hair and green eyes .

a dwarven boy , born with 1 leg , and a white flame mark on his left shoulder and a golden hammer on his right , hair like flowing lava and brown eyes

a beast girl from lion tribe , she was born with mark of a spear on her right thigh and a round shield on her back , crimson hair and golden eyes.

now you might be wondering, how could the elves miss these marks .

Well the deities that granted them disguised them to look like nothing more than strange birthmarks, there were no traces of mana like your son , so they lived just like everyone else , a life filled with nothing but despair.

the human boy was forced to become a test subject for new mind magic and suffered great mental torture.

the beast girl was used as a hunting target and had to run for her life everyday for years .

as for the dwarven boy who couldn't even walk, he was only useful to the elves as a punching doll .

yet under all these circumstances, they survived,

the human boy became immune to all mental magic and illusions .

the girl became fast enough to race monsters and strong enough to take them down bare handed .

and the dwarven boy created metal prosthetic by the age of 7, with no proir knowledge .

they hid their wisdom and strength and for years , till that fateful night , the night of binding ceremony.

over a hundred thousand kids were led to a cave in the forest near the elven capital known as the cave of shackles.

inside the cave when the ceremony started , the thre struggled with all their might to escape, and the first to awaken was the human boy.

blinding light shone from his body and 2 crows materialised on his shoulders and spear in his right hand .

he was branded by odin chief god of asgard wich granted him great wisdom and a unique form of magic known as rune magic.

with his new power the boy unleashed true terror on the present elves, raining magic attacks that erased them from existence

the next to awaken was the girl who saw the elf holding her frozen in shock, she took the opportunity to bite his throat , ripping it apart.

her face coverd in blood , her body shone with crimson light .

while nothing changed about her appearance, she felt great power in her body.

she was branded by ares god of war and was granted , super strength , super speed and near limitless stamina.

she became violence personified and the more she killed , the stronger she got .

with her new power she ripped the elves apart , covering herself in their blood in the process.

the dwarven boy however burst into white flames that burnt everything around him into Ash.

he was branded by Hephaestus the god of fire and metal work.

he was granted absolute authority and command over fire and a golden hammer materialised on his right hand .

with their new power, the heroes all of those who were willing to fight for freedom and fought their way out of the aldea forest .

for three months they fought to leave that accursed place !! , they fought without rest and killed over 4 million elves on their way to the Dark Volcano South of aldea forest.

it was a dead volcano and a place rich in minerals wich they desperately needed for their fight against caras galadhon and its army that was without doubt heading their way .

with the human boy's mastery of magical runes and the dwarven boy's metal work and authority over fire , they created an armor that blocks mental magic and magical damage and weapons that can cut through magic without resistance.

before the decisive battle they received their names from their deities.

the human boy was named Viggo .

the lion girl was named kostantina .

the dwarven boy was named Khrysaor . "

( A/N : Viggo means battle , kostantina means steadfast and Khrysaor means golden sword .

the first name is norse and other 2 are Greek.)

my father stopped talking like an exited kid for a moment to steady his breathing.

' man talk about fanboying , I can't judge him though cause remember doing the same when talking about that great degenerate '

my thoughts were interrupted by my father saying " before the decisive battle they all took an oath to bring caras galadhon to ruin and burn yggdrasil to nothing but Ash, behind them stood the 24 thousand boys and girls who survived the long arduous journey with them all wearing golden armours and carrying golden spears .

Viggo was clad in a dazzling silver armour and holding a golden spear .

kostantina wore a red armour with a centurian helmet that covers her cheeks leaving only her eyes mouth , her weapon was a pair of black gauntlets sharp at the finger tips.

Khrysaor wore a black armour and carried a giant black hammer , it was so heavy that every step he takes shakes the mountain.

with their preparations done , they marched into the aldea forest and massacred any and all elves that stood in their path to yggdrasil, the capital of caras galadhon.

they taught the elves something they have long forgotten, fear .

the elves magic was useless against the invading army , all those who faced them were either ripped apart by a woman coverd in blood, or burnt to Ash by a man in a black armour.

there was no escape, they tried using their living puppets to stop them , but they only became more violent and opposing elves died cruel deaths .

the slaughter continued until they reached the elven capital, and all that's left was to paint it in blood "
