Fighting gods - 73

Asura arrived back at his office. He knew that it was essential to gain Dumbledore's trust if he wanted to find out any information about gods or elves.

In Merlin's diary, he found a clue about how he met a Queen of Elves, who were allied with Druids.

So Asura needs to find something about Druids, he could just kill Dumbledore, but he still had use for him.

There will be a time when Dumbledore will be under his feet.

He saw a scroll on his desk. After opening, he thought, 'Looks like I need to make a trip to Egypt'.

As Asura expected, he received the acceptance letter from Hogwarts as a professor for Defense Against Dark Arts (DADA).

He will start as a professor next year, so he has time to make all the plans and relax once the canon begins.

"Ela and Bella, are you guys ready?" Asura called out.

His relationship with Ela has improved tremendously, while Bella shows signs of depression and jealousy.

Bella knew when she asked that Asura made Ela Draculine, making her stronger than Bella. However, Bella couldn't really ask Asura to make her Draculine too, because why would he?

Bella already knew that Asura liked Ela's blood more, and Ela had shown her intelligence by helping Asura to make a potion. Bella hasn't really done anything ever since she arrived. The only thing she has done is train and ask Asura for advice.

"I am ready, Asura" said Ela, who was wearing a beautiful red dress matching her hair.

Bella soon arrived wearing a black top with tight pants and a jacket on top. Her messy curly hair and her beautiful face make her look badass. Though currently, she is going through an emo phase to notice herself.

"I am also ready, Mr Asura." said Bella. She was never told to call him by his name. That was also one of the reasons why she was jealous of Ela.

Asura was unmistakably obvious to her feelings, but he never cared. All he wants is Bella to be a loyal, powerful wizard. If she was more motivated because of her crush on him, that's better. He might sound like an emotionless sociopath, but he does love his close ones, like Hinata, Mikoto, and even Sakura, who has shown her determination.

"We are going to live in Egypt for some time, and throughout this time, I will be training you properly, so don't expect me to be easy, especially you, Ela. You have a lot of work to do." Asura announced.

Ela nodded, though her unnatural instincts were guiding her, she was still far away from Bella, who was skilled in both physical combat and magical combat.

While Bella's physical strength was less than Ela's, she has shown extreme talent in magic and close combat. With Asura's training soon, she will be known as the strongest human witch alive.

While experimenting, Asura has found humans have limits to how much they can be good at or 'control' magic. Bella here has those limits, whereas Ela, I, Dumbledore, and Voldemort broke those 'limits' in some way.

Dumbledore's Elder wand and his phoenix might have helped him. Voldemort broke those limits with numerous rituals or the soul magic he had done.

Ela simply broke those when she turned Draculine, by Asura.

Ela and Bella nodded their heads, hearing Asura would be training them harshly.

Asura then used Portkey to teleport to a wizarding station in Egypt.

After selecting a spot, Asura placed a wizarding tent. It is a tent where it looks small on the outside, but if you go in, it can be large as a mansion.

Asura, of course, bought the best magic tent. Ella and Bell soon placed their stuff inside and changed their clothes for training.

Asura used {Wood Clones} and said "I will be using these to train your instincts. Once in a while, one of my clones will be attacking you, and the one who didn't dodge the most will be sleeping outside. Ela has an advantage, so sadly Bella needs to work harder. The world is unfair."

The clones disappeared. Asura turned to them and said "Ela, you will be trained to make your chakra control better, whereas Bella will be trained in spells created by me and improve her Occlumency."

Throughout the day, Asura clones attacked both Ela and Bella, and sometimes Asura himself attacked, explaining they should always be on guard.

One of the main things Asura taught them was DODGE. The dumb wizards don't know how to dodge, and many wizards died trusting their magic shields too much. Harry in the book only survived by just dodging the spells, whereas Snake-face stood like an idiot talking all the spells.

At the end of the day, Ela won, and Bella had to sleep outside. This training went on for a week. Every day there was a different challenge to make Bella and Ela compete against each other.

Asura also trained them in silent casting to make sure they won't say the spell name out loud. Silent casting spells is tough; only four people can do this in the entire world. Dumbledore, Grindelwald, Voldemort, and Asura.

Asura doesn't use silent casting because he wanted that as a trump card.

Asura didn't come here just to train Ela and Bella. No, he came here after hearing about a rumour about a supposed 'god' staying in an ancient pyramid that is cursed.

Of course, Asura confirmed first with Shikamaru, who said that all the shadows which went to investigate disappeared. He had asked permission to go in person, but Asura rejected going by himself.

"Ela and Bella, today I am taking you to a possibly dangerous place where a powerful person might be resting there. I am talking about someone who might be more powerful than Dumbledore or Merlin." Asura wanted to take them to let them experience that they are just small fish in a big ocean.

Ela and Bella nodded. They trusted Asura with their life. For Ela, Asura is her everything, and if she died, she would gladly die protecting Asura. Bella thinks Asura is the most powerful person alive, and there might be no one more powerful than him.

Asura made his way to the pyramid, which was hidden with many magical enchantments. Asura quickly found it after sensing a large amount of magic gathering other than a leyline being underneath.

Ley Lines, sometimes called mana lines, are ancient mana paths that flow and crisscross each other across a given landscape. All planes have a network of ley lines.

Hogwarts was constructed on top of one, which is why many talented teachers and students gather there. The more mana the body is saturated with, the more powerful they will get.

Some talented wizards and witches are born with more mana saturated in their bodies which causes them to become powerful.

Harry James Potter was too born with an excellent saturated body, but sadly the soul piece inside him is making his mind dull and sucking most of the mana his body gets.

Coming back to the pyramid, Asura and his team made their way inside.

Asura noticed there were two statues, one with a cat's head and with a jackal head. Turning around, he said "Ela, you fight that one with the jackal's head where Bella will fight on with the Cat head."

Hearing them being insulted, the two statues darted and attacked Asura.

Asura simply caught their fists each with one hand and said "Get moving, ladies… those who finish first will get one wish for me."

Ela summoned chakra construct weapons while Bella threw a strong {Reducto} at her opponent's knee caps, causing it to collapse. Ela, who was preparing for an all-out attack, was not fast enough.

Ela turned angry and launched all the weapons at her opponent, causing it to turn into pieces.

Then Asura entered the next room, where many statues with cat and jackal heads appeared.

Asura noticed that they had a small gem attached to their foreheads, which might be their weak point.

Turning around, he said "The stage is yours… impress me, and I will reward you."

Ela hasn't learned any jutus since she has been focusing on chakra control. However, she knows that she was able to skip the step of moulding chakra and chakra construct with her Instincts.

Bella started transforming the floor into large spikes to break their knees. But, unlike her previous opponents, who were destroyed just by breaking their kneecaps, her current opponent started constructing themselves back.

Sadly, Asura was a gamer in his previous life, so when he saw the red gem on their forehead, he knew it was their weakness.

Bella and Ela didn't know that. The statues are covered with gold jewellery, so it might be tricky.

"*BOOM*"

Ela was the first to discover their weakness, and soon Bella followed, seeing the gem on their forehead is the weakness.

Asura congratulated Ela and reminded Bella to always strategise before rushing into a fight.

"WHO DARE ENTER MY LAIR"

Asura, Ela, and Bella were taken back when they heard a majestic voice.

Asura turned around and cast a barrier around them in case he needed to fight.

At first, when Asura came, he didn't sense anything, but now after hearing its voice, he can feel massive power from the room in front of him.

Asura, with the girls, made his way to the room, which was releasing a ton of magical power.

After arriving, Asura saw a person sitting on the throne on top of a small pyramid.

Asura, after seeing him, knows who he is. He was Amun-Ra or Re, an ancient god of Heliopolis, that represented the sun and light. He was the greatest god of Egypt. Amun-Ra was also the chief protector of the pharaoh that embodied him in the flesh as often literal living gods.

Asura also sensed something in one of the coffins. Soo much energy was gathering, and the thing inside was close to awakening.

"I SENSE A UNIQUE ENERGY IN YOU, MORTAL. ANSWER ME. WHAT IS IT?" asked Ra, the Egypt deity of the sun.

Instead of answering, Asura summoned some chakra rods and threw them into a circular pattern surrounding the pyramids.

Chakra rods broke through many walls and reached the pyramid's end, resting on the ground.

Ra didn't disturb Asura, wanting to see what this mortal would do.

"{Yin-Yang Formation}" Asura clamped his hands and whispered.

The chakra rods which were resting on the ground flew up in the air and made a barrier, trapping anyone inside the pyramid.

"Interesting mortal… to make such a strong formation which can even trap me as a god!" Ra said.

Asura turned to him and said "So Ra, god of the sun. Explain to me how you got awake from your slumber?"

"DARE YOU QUESTION ME? RA?" Ra said in a majestic voice.

"*BOOM* Why are you wasting your time with these mortals?" Said a jackal head man who came out of the coffin.

"I am interested in this mortal's power which can trap a god in a barrier Anubis," said Ra.

Anubis then turned to Ela and looked at her with interest, but seeing that she was not 'pure' anymore, he lost his interest.

"Anubis, the deity of the dead. Ra, the deity of the sun. Can you answer why the gods are waking up?" Asura asked again.

Anubis looked at Asura and shivered unknowingly.

"Ra! This mortal has something which is stronger than my divinity, Death… I can't even see through his soul." Anubis said.

"I know that is why I am more interested in him… forget it, we need to wake up the remaining pharaoh." Ra said as he summoned a large fire which has the properties of his divinity and launched it toward Asura.

Asura summoned a large black barrier to block the fire. But, unfortunately, it tore through it.

{Kamui}

Asura sends the fireball into his dimension, seeing that his barrier is useless.

"Space?… You interest me more, mortal!" Ra announced, seeing Asura open space to send his fire somewhere.

Asura bit his thumb and summoned Nori.

{Lion's Ambition}, which turned Nori into golden armour.

Summoning his wand, he attached it to his armour, which gave his properties to hurt a god.

"Ra, I can sense something which can hurt us… His armour has the properties that can hurt us." Anubis said.

Ra then stood up and decided to finish Asura quickly. With a swipe of his arm, the top of the pyramid broke. The sun shone on Ra as he flew into the sky, and his power seemed to increase continuously.

Asura is wary since most of his power won't work on a god, and the power which can work on a god doesn't work on Ra.

Asura only has two attacks that can kill a god: Amaterasu (Sun Fire) and Gyoka (Hell Fire). He is not sure if his chains can bind a god.

Transforming some of the armour into a spear, he rushed.

{Universal Pull} he pulled Ra towards him. Ra, who was taken by surprise, was pulled towards Asura.

Asura then threw his spear in his hand towards Ra and used {Chidori Stream} towards Anubis, who seemed to be ready to launch an attack.

Multiple coffins opened up, revealing mummies. Anubis used his connection to the underworld and summoned the mummies to attack them. Asura then created Dementors, which are a good counter since they can suck up souls and keep them in their stomachs.

Ra, who was being pulled to the deadly spear, used a laser from his eyes to destroy the spear he was being attracted to.

Asura, seeing that his spear was destroyed, he used {Chidori} and stabbed Ra in the heart.

Ra, who was stabbed, backed away and released a stream of fire, opening his mouth.

Asura simply took the fire head-on and punched Ra away.

Anubis, who was regenerated back, summoned his staff and launched bolts of energy which looked black.

Asura sensed the same energy from Death in those bolts, so he simply substituted away.

{All Killing Ash Bones} realising bones from his arms, nailing Anubis to the ground.

The bones were turning their surrounding part of the body into ash, while Anubis was regenerating.

Turning back, Ra released a large laser of fire. Asura then countered using {Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion}.

Both the lasers met and created a ball of explosion at their meeting point. Then, Asura used more chakra to push his attack back, causing Ra's head to explode.

It all took a second to regenerate his head back, but it was enough time for Asura to use his Rinnegan ability {Seal} to seal him.

Summing a sword, he stabbed Ra in the heart, turning him into dust.

Asura then turned around and used {Amaterasu} (Sun Fire) to burn Anubis into ashes.

Ela and Bella's mouths were hanging. They have never seen such a thrilling fight before. If they had seen how Shinobi fought, their mind would have exploded.

Asura saw a soul in front of him. As he was about to touch it, his hand started burning.

{Reaper Death Seal} Asura hurriedly summoned a reaper from the Naruto world to seal the soul into a sealed pot.

Asura then gave the Reaper a few souls for sealing a god's soul.

He was interested in seeing if the Reaper could seal the soul that he couldn't even touch.

Does that mean the Reaper in front of him is a god? But Asura knows that there are no gods in that world. So does that mean he is seeing the spirit of a reaper? If so, who killed the Reaper, or did the Reaper himself turn into a spirit?

Putting those thoughts for later, he realised that gods were slowly waking up, and he didn't gain anything from Ra or Anubis. The mistake he made was he thought he could devour their soul and gain that information, but unfortunately, something is protecting the souls, or he doesn't have the right to touch them.

"Those beings are gods. They seemed to be a little weaker since they woke up from their slumber. However, they can be as powerful as a world or the whole universe." Asura said to Ela and Bella.

They both nodded their heads like hens. Ela's brain was going into overdrive, thinking about all the possibilities of those gods walking on this world. Bella stayed cool-headed, but her eyes betrayed her. She was staring at Asura, worshipping as her god.

Putting the seal pot back in the inventory, he said "Let's get going. We will stay here for a month."

Ela nodded and asked "Asura, are all gods alive?"

Asura replied "No… some are dead, and others went into slumber."

Asura discovered in Merlin's diary that some gods were already dead, like Asgard gods or Hindu gods.

Bella then asked "Why are they waking up from their slumber?"

"To devour all magic."
